Hoyo probably removed him for a related bug that can softlock you, less than he being too strong, but redoing his stats is pretty needed because he can oneshot everyone with his bouncing coin skill.

softlocked is only happen on phase 3 where you need sum up the dice value. The hunt blessing that AF the party are getting you softlock in dice phase forever so they remove him.
I suffered so much on this boss. And got me stuck on "into the yawning chasm". But after pulling firefly. I finally managed to defeat em thanks to her 😂
GG i thought protocol 6 was impossible without a proper sustain character example: (fu xuan). U proved me wrong initially. i thought this was impossible cause I'd always get clapped in Sam's third phase cause i always would get him in the final boss battle But yeah, to my surprise, aventurine exists, and therefore, you had many good preservation blessings that led you to victory. Keep it up 😊
What were people fighting Aventurine with that people’s complain and rake him away? The third was genius and loss of fun seeing the numbers in the gamble go up

let me tell you that i've never been so fking happy for a boss to get removed people out here are complaining because he's too hard for casual and complaining because other people wanted such a fun mechanic to come back while the reason being that there's a softlock bug which made him go byebye in DU, im over here overjoyed because that's one less boss among the pool of RNG final bosses that i have to fight on P6 aventurine is GIGA AIDS in protocol 4+, especially protocol 6, where i've been nolifing the game mode last month. it's always ruan mei that gets cc'd and hard targeted since she doesn't have a bounce or aoe ability even without aventurine, without the proper blessings, even if i fought cirrus, i wouldn't be able to beat him! look at your equations! you have 5 BUILT EQUATIONS and it's so frustrating to repeat the same shit over and over because i didnt get voyage monitor... not to mention you got both silverheart guards and wastelander together! it's soooo BS because of rng and it was so exhausting. i had one run with cirrus failed on the 3rd phase because while i had voyage monitor, i didnt have the hunt blessing where it's my turn again when i weakness break an enemy, so i lost. it's so hard and removing him gave me a little bit of wiggle room to clear it dont even get me started of you getting BOTH the steak curio AND the raucous curio! like WHAT IS THAT LUCK?! ultimately, i was able to beat protocol 6 EVEN WITHOUT VOYAGE MONITOR because the final boss was the past, present, and eternal show: the best boss for firefly to fight. THANK GOD RNG my equations were: Anti-Organic Liquidator Viscorpus Starcrusher Worker Wingweaver Voyage Monitor (LITERALLY 1 BLESSING LEFT, but i ran out of cosmic fragments for replacement so this ddidn't count) my curios were: Cumulous Steak Divine Visage Dreamdive Can like it's so ass in protocol 6 esp when i try to speedrun things, im just glad it's over! NOT COMING BACK ON P6 EVER AGAIN and i hope hoyo doesn't give any more missions to do. finally done with it last month! good riddance, now i just chill with diff 5 protocol 0 every cyclical reset
@@ahtouriberlian7668 its more than that. At Protocol 6, Aventurine move so fcking fast that he can cycle the dice phase, have your characters attack the dice phase, finish the result then move onto the dice phase again without having your characters attack him out of it, hence the softlock.

Since he got removed from DU will he still be coming to SU…? I recall there was a leak about him being in SU but idk if it changed or they meant DU instead of SU?! and for now we know that he got removed completely from DU
I got him on my first Protocol 5 (or 4, I don't recall) run using this exact same team in the video and I had no issues. With Sam though... I fought him so many times and always lost. He always one hit my ass and molest them. He cooked my ass medium rare. More so when I had an equations that generate extra SP. I have tried fighting him on different Protocol lvl. At first on 6, then 4 and 2; and yet, my attempts are futile and the results are all same... I love Sam (more than I love firefly) but holy dog-with-dementia, he's crazy.

shield is the key and yeah it's more harder without fu xuan or aven if you don't get defensive blessing, boss hit like a truck even with basic atk
