Your comment is so underrated 😂
😂
Just like on Tiktok, your tips on your UA-cam channel are also top tier. THANK YOU BROTHER.
Coming from professional sprots, we journal after every practice and after every fight. We try to visualize the fight and objectively see what weaknesess need to be addressed. It works wonders, when I started doing it, I progressed at insane rate
Great tutorial on journaling examples. This is a must watch and rewatch for any/everyone. I would even argue that this should be the first video in this series.
This guy is a legend, i had so much issue to quickly copy and paste and write notes at the same time. Also was cumbersome to edit the chart before pasting it. This resovlved all the issues i had with Google word and sheet.
This was so helpful finally someone who explains how to journal clearly and practically. Thank you so much all the way from Singapore
totally I have been looking for a video like this for a bit. Everyone just explains it. He showed us and explained it AND ITS FREE.
Bro I discovered you yesterday ngl, I'm subbing. There's so much insights in your vids, big up bro
Your video was very insightful and straight to the point Justin. Thanks a lot.
Great Video! I watched three videos before this one; this is the only one explaining how to journal and why. Not just platforms trying to get a cut from affiliation. Thanks!!! Keep it up.

Love the content, thank u so much. Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷
you’re the goat justin thank you so much bro
Great tutorial, Justin! Most of the other ones show just how to log trades on a spreadsheet with no regard to things like the critical lessons we need to remember and the associated swing of emotions that always come with them. Excellent! I can hardly wait to get mine set up now.
Thank you really appreciate it
The funny thing is I've been Journaling similarly to this for the longest time using one note 💯 amazing content
Good video!
You're an ict trader
That's beautiful ❤️
It would be amazing if you could also add; (the date, symbol (what type of currency/indices you're trading with) entry price, exit price, profit/loss, brokerage (or commission) what is the risk reward ratio, total trades, how many long / short trades for the day, number of wins / losses, what is the current equity, what is your conviction (is it high/medium or low), and what is the main result (is it successful or unsuccessful trade) but nevertheless, it is a great video. I also liked about the reaction and planning on how you found your bias before making any final decisions to take a trade.
Do you go back to read through your journals? I'm curious about getting the feedback from your journaling and how to go about deciding whether something was a good or bad move. Thank you nonetheless great video/
Good. But two things. 1. You need a trade journal that tracks your performance metrics such as: win rate, average winners, average losers, etc. 2. I recommend (if you will not buy a subscription) to have a free account on a trading journal to track said performance metrics. For storing your actual trades and analysis like shown above use a platform like one note or notion. Also, you don't even have to use an external platform because trading view has a notes section where you can screenshot your chart instantly and save it inside a note, along with text. So all you really need to do is sign up for a free trading journal that tracks your basic metrics.
What should I do when I dont take a trade? Should I still journal it in the journal? Or backtest it in a seperate place so I can get clear knowledge of my performance in trading?
Do I journal before I place a trade or the other way around?🤔
You can do both. There are pro traders (Don Miller & Jason Alan Jankovsky) that journal thru the entire day. There are no rules. Do whatever you think will help you. And you can journal about anything that could or may affect your trading. If your cat is ill how does that make you feel and will it or did it affect your trading that day. Did you argue with your sig other. Anything. This video is excellent. Pay attention to what he says. It is very very important to journal.
Thankful for this content but please what's the name of this Online Notebook so i can download it. Thanks in anticipation.
You used some terms that I'm not familiar with and I thank you for that. I'm learning relatively new to this. And I look forward to the day or I'll look back and say Oh now I know exactly what he meant. Thank you again for the great content
Thank you for this video.
I'm just started to learning trade. But I'm confused because feel like a little fish in a big ocean with no direction. You know :/ Thanks a lot ❤
Thanks for this vid justin. I feel like i was writing too much on my journal. This is straight to the point. less is more!

Thanks for sharing, you are absolutely right everyone says most important thing is journaling but they don’t say how to start, what kind of information etc. Great information , also when you say go tu bigger time frame, could be the daily?
Thank you for your informations sir, this is the 22 model?
1:44 is not a mss lol
you are the best explainer ive seen in 4 years thank you Justin
Hey Justin, i have a question: if my trade hits my TP1 but then reverses and takes my stop-loss, Do i journal this as a winning trade or a loser? Or does it depend on how much money i made with tp1 and how much i lost on my SL? Since i take 1 trade a day i mark my days with a checkmark or a cross to calculate my profitability over a set period of time. You helped me a great deal with this video, thanks!
I’m no expert and just starting out myself but I personally would consider it a win if you made money overall. It’s a loss if you lose money and a draw if you break even. The result barely matters in journaling it’s more about documenting, in hindsight, would you do anything differently. If you stuck to your trading plan and the trade just went the wrong way - then the success is that you followed your plan. The outcome doesn’t matter. Then I would review your original trade plan to see if it could be improved to ensure a better outcome.
Another perspective - is it a win if you take profit overall but deviated from your original trade plan or strategy? You need to take learning from that even if you came out with profit overall.
Which app is that
ur a good boy

🟢WHEN YOU SAY U ENTERED IN YOUR FULL SIZE DO U MEAN YOUR FULL DAY EARNINGS THAT YOU WANT TO MAKE IN A DAY ?
NO! - His full size is based on his opening day equity. It is probably a % of it (either 1% or 2%). Personally, I risk 1 to 2 % of equity per trade. No more than that. YOU MUST PROTECT YOUR EQUITY. Of course, you can trade a smaller position if you think the trade is not as good a setup as you would want. Patience is the key. YOU MUST BE PATIENT AND LOOK FOR THE BEST OPPORTUNITY YOU CAN GET THOUGH. STUDY RISK MANAGEMENT. THERE IS PLENTY OF STUFF ON YOU TUBE.
