There bros, individually and collectively, are so gifted. The blend of their distinctively Platt sound is captivating. While Ben and Jonah have the "celebrity," Henry has a purity to his voice that could melt the polar cap (don't sing in Alaska, Henry)! As a gentile and a Christian, I especially love the way they use their gift to honor their religious heritage. Blessings on you, gentlemen!
I was thinking the same thing just now!!! Their harmonies are amazing! I was lucky to see Ben in Dear Evan Hansen Broadway and, then again, during his stop in Boston last year to promote his amazing, gorgeous album, Sing To Me Instead.
I just found another video on UA-cam of The Platt Brothers performing AHAVAT OLAM; but......IN A STUDIO!! So, maybe an album with Shabbat Services songs is in the making??? I sent the Hodu video to my Rabbi; maybe she’ll surprise us and play it during Shabbat morning Zoom services this Saturday. 👍🏻😁
I couldn't understand some of the words but my spirit sang along and my heart worshipped the LORD my GOD. That's what matters and I've never encountered anything that could do that in my 52 years.
When Jews pray we sway. If we’re aware of it or not, we sway. Our whole body is in sync with our soul in that moment, and connected to Gd, so our body dances with peace and joy.
Also Hebrew is the language of this beautiful world, the soul, our Creator built the world with these words and spiritual world. This teaches us we all build our worlds with speech and thought. So when Jewish people talk or sing it, it’s the deepest of the deep, and the highest.
Not Jewish, but honestly the stories of judaism, and the prayers sung in Hebrew give me such inner peace. Thank you for sharing this. Gods blessings be upon every one of you. Always!
My sister chose to sing, "His Eye is On The Sparrow" for our Dad's homegoing service. I didn't know people could hear me & I sang harmony. The family thought it was planned & my sister was mad because I guess I intruded on her performance. When our mother passed, she asked me to sing it by myself, which I did. It was my Daddy's favorite gospel song.
I'm just saying, for the record, I get WAY more excited hearing about the platt Brothers as compared to any other name before Brothers (ex: the jonas brothers) Jokes aside, this was absolutely beautiful!

Praise to God and thanks to you Platt Brothers. Feel privileged to hear this new song shortly after it's release. I am learning all the lyrics to chant along. As a catholic I send my kindest regards to you and the whole Jewish community from Germany!
I do not practice Judaism but I enjoy listening to the prayers sung in Hebrew as it brings me peace and gratitude to our Creator. Thank you so much Pratt Brothers. Happy Holidays ♡
My father's side of our family is Jewish, but growing up my mother would not allow us to celebrate any aspect of this piece of our identity. I went to one of my students Bar Mitzvah and cried and cried through the whole thing. I was so moved, but I'm not a crier usually. My friend said it was because I recognized the music of my people. When I wanted to explore this more for myself and my children, my husband said he preferred to keep religion out of our lives. I'm not mad. But listening to this music heals a little part of me. Thank you for your music.
I hope you feel able to pursue your own spiritual path in whatever way matters to you. I believe that while spirituality is an intrinsic part of existence, and religion is how that spirituality is expressed in our lives. It can be in small private rituals and deeds or as part of organized groups, but in the end it connects back to something deeply personal and private. You are a part of the Jewish people and are entitled to your connection to that global family.
i think the Platt Brothers need to release an album, stat! i would buy that up so fast and i'm not even Jewish. gorgeous harmonies from some very talented brothers. i'm sure they make their parents VERY proud!
Platt Brothers- It would be lovely for you to produce more Hebrew prayers. Hashkiveinu by Craig Taubman, Ozi V'zimrat, and Shalom Rav by Jeff Klepper and Dan Freelander... some of the most beautiful music with amazing harmonies! That would be such a treat!
We used to sing Shalom Chaverim at school and I really liked it- but songs like Ahavat Olam and Hodu make me want to close my eyes and listen to them in constant replay mode. Thanks so much to the Platt Brothers for uploading! Hello from Vienna, Austria.
I come back to this again and again; it is utterly beautiful and sung with such heartfelt love. I had a panic attack at work out of the blue last week, and this song was what helped to ground me again. Thank you for shining your light at a dark time.x
Quite simply one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Please keep making these videos as brothers, we need to hear your amazing blend of harmonies ❤️
i am having a tough time pushing the door of the closet (i lost the key) where i shoved my atheism for as long as it takes to listen to this beauty of a song repeatedly and with the attention and appreciation it deserves. i can hear a faint ranting and raving inside. i shall have to crank up the volume.
Wow...I thank God for you three! My two younger sisters and I have been singing together for years...I can't wait to show them this prayer & Ahavat Olam.
This is soooo good it's sick. I just bought tickets to The Hollywood Bowl concert. If Ben doesn't bring this brothers on stage, I'm asking for my money back!
Just what we all needed - another lovely rendition of a traditional song. Hope you continue to record even more, say, one every Shabbos?! All 3 of you are a gift to the world. Keep singing, eat a nice meal, and then sing some more for us! Shabbat shalom.
These videos are exceptional. Please keep doing more. I’m in no way religious, but the sheer beauty you release through your music is felt in the soul.
I’m gonna need a Platt brother album ASAP
HONESTLY THOOOO
Was going to say the same
Same .. these three could totally top the Jonas brothers.. just saying.. lol ok h Ben your hair is so many ways
Yesssss!!! Me too!!!
Yep
Ben has such a baby face without his beard!
Probably filming for dear evan hansen
THAT'S why he looked different!
Yeah, he looks so much younger clean shaven!
Reminds me of pitch perfect
Like a true politician
I don't know how I got down this Platt brothers wormhole but I'm loving it.
Same 😊
Imagine having one child with the voice of an angel, let alone three!
I wish I could like this video over and over again! ❤❤❤

Ed Kaminski so well said, I feel the same!! It is absolutely beautiful!
Love the new genre of Platt brothers singing Jewish songs, really kvelling!! Shabbat shalom!
Which holiday does this one celebrate?
Sibling blend is a real thing and it is ridiculously good with these three!
TWO albums. One of popular music in English, and the other of Jewish themes, with them singing in Hebrew. They BOTH will sell quite well !
I was thinking the same thing just now!!! Their harmonies are amazing! I was lucky to see Ben in Dear Evan Hansen Broadway and, then again, during his stop in Boston last year to promote his amazing, gorgeous album, Sing To Me Instead.

I need a whole Hebrew/Jewish Platt Brothers album
ABSOLUTELY!!!!
Immediately!!!!!
Stat!
These guys are the reason some people can't sing... they stole all of the talent and have it all for themselves!!😄💙
How does Ben manage to be so great as both a tenor and a baritone?
They’re all magnificent.
There is something especially sweet about these brothers singing prayers together.
A beautiful rendition, composed by the incomparable Debbie Friedman, z"l
Imagine having siblings that can sing with you
I grew up singing at the piano with my sister. I made a killer Aladdin to her Jasmine when we did "A whole new world."
Imagine being able to sing
@@faithdarst5439 For real tho
singing with siblings is one of life's greatest pleasures :) When they are old, they will cherish these memories

For some reason, this non-Jew loves these Jewish songs sung by the Platt brothers. I even try to sing along :-) they're just so touching and spiritual
As a fan of THE VOICE I have heard the judges repeatedly mention that nobody harmonizes like siblings. These gentlemen prove the point!
I'm just saying, for the record, I get WAY more excited hearing about the platt Brothers as compared to any other name before Brothers (ex: the jonas brothers)
Jokes aside, this was absolutely beautiful!
Jokes aside? What do you mean jokes... that's not a joke! Just hard core truth😅
@@livaliberte4275 you're entirely correct, I misspoke
anyone else find their swaying kind of captivating?

I am not Jewish, but this makes me so happy. Sons singing for their family. I love it.

So how much talent is one family really allowed to hav
Can we talk about how talented they are if they can keep up with their Broadway brother?
One of the other brothers has been on Broadway too I think
I love how you naturally incorporate passion, intent, heart, and realness in your prayer…
Surely received by God…. hath heard by the Lord.
Thanks (“,)
Beautiful and the youngest Henry (not the Broadway star) may have the nicest voice.......!
One of Debbie Friedman’s best songs. Thank you, guys.
My absolute favorite brothers
This needs to go to iTunes so I can buy and listen everyday ❤️
