Goddamn watching this got me so much more hyped than I already was, to watch his retro5pective at Red Rocks in November… I have complained to my friend’s on so any occassions, that everytime I watch deadmau5, he doesn’t play enough of his more obscure throwback tunes. Everything Joel touches is magic, but his pre 2010 era has to be my favorite. Hearing these songs played, esp with live freestyle mixes with his friends, is something I thought I’d never hear from him, let alone get a chance to see for myself at some point. I hope they spend an even longer portion exploring his older archive when I watch him, but either way, thank you for recording this. Glad you were able to experience such an awesome performance!!!
Omg, yes! I never thought I'd hear these oldies live. I'd love to go to Red Rocks in November but I don't want to go alone. Maybe we can go together or something?
many thanks for captured this! But since creep is blocked, maybe it's better to just cut it out and upload the full version without it, rather than downloading it in parts?
I figured I could do that with the original full set upload but since the video was 3 hours long, UA-cam thought it was a 'playlist' so it wasn't eligible to be able to make changes to the video (muting/replacing audio). Another recording I saw on here which was a little over an hour long had Creep and wasn't blocked so I figured I could just trim a section of the set so just in case it does get blocked I can mute it.
@@FLOABCNI thought I could try cutting it using software without loss of quality, and not using UA-cam tools. but there is always a chance that copywriters will find something else. Is there a chance to upload the full version to a file-sharing service or torrent? I saw in discord that the file size more than 30GB, but suddenly there is such an opportunity. Still, this is a special performance :)
