The softeners can leave behind a waxy residue that facilitates more matting, you’re basically using enough softener to just act as a detangler for the fibers. Some videos will recommend doing detergent only wash or just rinse and spin after doing this to the fleece. I’ve seen some people say to use conditioner as well. Two teaspoons softener to two cu
Shdhs I'm only looking these videos up because I want to restore my old baby blanket.. I'm still attached to it. I think you forget that matted sherpa blankets are often old and hold many memories in them.
The sound effects are killings me 😂 how long did it take tho?
Ur suppose to use 1 cup white vinegar and 1 cup laundry detergent mixture and water for super fluffy blanket 😉
I'm going to try this next time! Thank you 😊
Did it work?

Omg please tell me u didn't use the vinegar!
@@Bunny-bb2sd
No, the acid in the vinegar destroys the wool.
Great song choices!!
Looks like a lot of work
Short sweet and to the point. I love it
i used a metal cat brush and it worked really well
Isn't that just destroying the fabric with the over-the-top sturdy brush? Meaning the liquids you pour don't even matter at that point
I wonder if you used a power tool with a brush on the end..
This is a really good idea actually 😍 I’m going to try it!
The other videos say not to use fabric softener and very serious about it. So now we're supposed to use it?
I've never had an issue using it. I'm not sure why they would say that. It's literally made for fabric.

@@anthonywalker-browning4432 that makes total sense! I barely put any in here. It was mostly water which is probably why it worked so well for me 🙂
This really helped
What do you use if it’s less?
Can i send them to automatic clean
Or will damage it?
I’m sure you can 😌 I’m just not sure that will get the tangles out of it.
unless that's a $100 blanket it's not worth all that...
What’s “worth it” to you & worth it to me are 2 completely different things ; apparently 😅
What brush wax the 2nd brush? I want to buy one
It’s just a brand new dollar tree dog brush 😌
Nice
Bro just put in the washing machine
That sh dont work. U spend like 2 hours on 1 spot
Yea… let’s just throw it away
This Is why I hate Sherpa
This right here is why the earth is dying.
