Today we are heading to one of my favorite parts of Tokyo - Shinjuku Gyoen! This is Part 2 of a three part series on Shinjuku Tokyo. The list of Shinjuku Tokyo Things to do is long but this is definitely a must see. Japan travel and especially Tokyo travel can be a bit hectic with the amount going on and the number of people, but this park gives you a way to get away from the chaos and noise even when you are in one of the busiest parts of Tokyo. If you have seen the popular movie Garden of Words 言の葉の庭 then you will recognize this as another name for it could be Shinjuku Gyoen Garden of Words. (this is where the movie is set.
All of the seasons are must experience moments in this park but Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden Summer is a must see. The heat, cicadas, and great weather for picnicking makes it perfect to go to.
