I love Flair pens so much!! I use them whenever I journal, their color variety is so pretty and they write so well!
Definitely agree with you on the writing in a book bound journal. I have a few notebooks from when I was a teenager that are just the really cheap one subject notebooks you buy from Walmart and I get kind of sad because I can't really open them due to how weak and flimsy the pages have gotten since I wrote in them.
It’s always so sad when the binding of a journal isn’t strong😭🤧
@@CarrieWalker yeah i had a loose note holder as my first journal and i wanted to read them bc theyre so cringe entries and i dropped it and it's all out of order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

Hi Carrie! I love your channel. Have been watching your content for a couple years now. I've been journaling for a little over four years and am about to start my 17th journal. You are so inspiring and have helped me make my journals more aesthetic. Hope your doing well.
I only really have 4 main essentials:
- My fountain pen for writing entries
- Monami essenti highlighter for headers
- Sakura pigma micron brush pen for header
- 2nd fountain pen for dates (to have em in a different color)
I do have other supplies like colorful gel pens and markers for moment i want to add color and doodles but I only really use 4 items to journal otherwise

I really like the BIC Gelocity and simple floral covers of my journals.( Also I love your videos so much they really just lighten my mood and make my day ten times better.)🥰

Hi Carrie! I know I'm a bit late to this video but I just wanted to say thank you for doing what you do and for inspiring me to journal. I started my first journal on December 30th 2021 and finished it today on October 15th and today I also started my second journal and once again thank you for inspiring me. Journaling helped me with my anxiety and depression. I could finally express my feelings more and write down my thoughts and worries. Journaling also has been helping cope with the sadness of hearing that my uncle has stage 4 cancer so thank you so much Carrie and I can't write a comment without saying that this video was amazing as always. All your videos are amazing and your journaling videos and fitness are really helpful. I love your videos so so much. I hope you're having a great day Ilysm💕

I really like Leuchtturm journals! They're a bit pricey but totally worth it! They have sketchbooks, bullet journals, lined journals, grids, and planners :D I would recommend checking them out! They have sizes from A4+ to A7 :) Okay I sound like an ad or something but I just really like them lol.

The sharpie s-gel pens have been my favourite for about 2 years now! To the point I refuse to journal with anything else aside from special circumstances. My favourite brands of journals are moleskine, paperage and Peter pauper press. I don’t colour in my journals very much and I don’t draw because there’s something I love about entire books being filled with strictly words 😊😊

I started trying to buy a game and an add on thing and I started and finished saving (in one day) and I love reading it and seeing it all fall into place! They are on their way now!
The uni-ball signo 207 comes in a needle point. I have one so I can confirm this. You could get the best of both worlds because I know you loved those pens.
I would love to see a video where you end your journal and start a new one! Also my favorite journals are the safe notes ones by the brand GIPTA. Although, I'm definitely open to new brands considering that these journals sometimes bleed and they don't have that many not spiral bound options. But there designs are really pretty and aesthetic if that what your looking for.

i get a book bound journal. my first was a loose note pad from kate spade as a gift and my second one (im working through it) is from dollarama. I think the sharpie pen is the best or the inkjoy papermate. I like black pens too.
I think mildliners aren't worth the hype like i waited 2 months for them and they were mainly dried out. but I like the crayola supertips for calligraphy becasue i'm learning and got them as a gift.
My aunt is obsessed with stickers and gives me some of her hoard and i love using those and there are these planner stickers that i like to write the date in and look aesthetic.

Okay 1. I have been journaling for a 197 days in a row you got me hooked
2. I love the Pental engerized pens they are the best you got me hooked followed by the pilot g2 pens
3. I use the crayola markers cause I’m to cheap to buy the mid liners lol
4. I’m so happy you shop at Costco running there Thursday to buy your favorite journal! Also do you love there pizza?! It’s my absolute favorite

I love your videos so much I used to use journals but I’ve been collecting notebooks I think I have over 100 notebooks to be honest maybe more I even got into the brand Erin Condren notebooks and I love them I would also recommend that!! I’ve also been using pentel energel but I’ve changed since my friend recommended the brand “TUL” their amazing they have fine points and medium and bold points I would recommend the “tul needle point 0.5 and 0.7 they come in black blue and red ink. You can tell there’s a difference between pentel energel compared to the brand tul. The brand tul is kinda pricey and I’ve heard that they waste or run out of ink but I’ve been using these pens for a year and i still have a lot of ink in my pens plus they come in different designs and if you don’t like one of the barrels that it comes in you can switch the inks into another tul pen 😊

Haha when you first starting throwing your pens on your desk I starting laughing because it’s literally the most relatable thing in the world. And AMEN the pentel energel are the literal best. Me journaling essentials: a hard cover bound journal (no spiral!!!!!), mildliners, pentel energel purple needle tip pens, stickers, and washy tape. I usually put washy tape at the top and write the date in sharpe on the tape🧋❤️✍️
I always get my leather journals at Barnes and Noble. They're just so pretty.

Crayola SuperTips can be super super cheap too. I recently got the 100 pack at Joann’s for like 9.00 because I had a 50% off coupon. They have those coupons a LOT. I got my Mildliners and a lot of other pens/markers pretty cheap that way.
what meh essentials are:
-book bound journal (ofc ive used then bc theyre rlly good lol). a5 and 120gsm (i want higher so my markers dont bleed through btw but whatever
-black pens (i think 1mm or 1.4mm)
-colored pens
-some colored gel pens
-sparkly pastel colored pens (they look rlly good honestly)
-colored markers
thats all i rlly need. oh also sticky tab thingys to mark all the entries i have (116 rn)

My essentials for journaling:
1. Book bound journal
2. A black ink pen (I have a pilot g2 I’m using right now)
3. Mild liners if I feel like using color
That’s just regular journaling. If I want to use more, I have an arsenal of scrap paper and more from being an arts and crafts person my whole life. Anyways, truly, a person just needs a journal/notebook/etc and a pen to journal. There’s so much you can do with a blank page and a pen.
