1. Average Wait Time: Discover how long patients typically wait before their appointments. Uncover patterns and trends that shed light on the efficiency of our healthcare system.
2. Patient Satisfaction: We'll explore the average satisfaction scores given by our patients. Learn about the factors that contribute to a positive patient experience and how we can enhance it.
3. Total Patient Visits Monthly: Get an overview of the ebb and flow of patients through our doors each month. Understand the dynamics of healthcare demand over time.
4. Administrative vs. Non-Administrative Appointments: Delve into the data to distinguish between appointments that involve administrative processes and those that don't. Explore the impact on wait times and patient satisfaction.
5. Referrals and Walk-In Patients: Uncover the balance between patients referred to specific departments and those who walk in without prior referral. How does this impact the overall patient experience?
6. Patient Visits by Age Group and Race: Explore the distribution of patient visits across different age groups and races. Gain insights into the diversity of healthcare needs and preferences.

are you sure that admin_flag means that the patient is an admin and not denoting that the patient's admission status, whether they are admitted or not, wouldn't that make more sense? I am confused
Thank you so much for all the efforts you've put in to create this wonderful tutorial.
🙏 thank you
good video. It seems Power BI takes 0 as blank. The avg 4.99 considers all 0 in the calculation while 5.47 ignores all blank and 0. I verified this via Excel.
Was thinking earlier on that you’d want the nulls where a review wasn’t left then you wouldn’t need the calculate function to find the average satisfaction score. This was a data cleaning/transformation issue not really a dax thing
my power bi is not showing AM/PM in date coloumn, how to modify it
#edit
there is a way,add new column
= if Time.Hour([date]) < 12 then "AM" else "PM"
Look at what I did, is very easy. Just highlight the column and got to add column the extract, now choose last 2 characters
Do that in power query
Hello please help me out from 1.11.01 . When I’m dragging the total patients it is not responding with the month , only showing total count in a single row without showing any months. I don’t why the relationship not working . What to do?
This is Exactly what I am facing
Try to create new date column in patient table truncating timestamp and build the relationship without the timestamp with date table, it will work.
This is very informative. Thank you for your time.
% No Ratings is 72.69 and not 75 ( cant understand why the DAX gave 75)
I am stuck at that line chart which represents months and Total parients
Maybe you should re watch it again.
i am also struck at that line chart, whenever i pull months in to line chart it shows nothing on x-axis but when i pull this same thing in to matrix rows it shows all months ,i dont know what the problem
Had same issue turned out the way to fix it is go to transform data in home tab. go to your patient dataset and click on the little icon of the date (notice it looks like a table with clock) change it to a date (its date and time originally) you can watch him in min 11:28 so you see what he does. best of luck

Thanks for the VDO Really its very informative. Learnt a lot .🙏
Thanks for learning with me.
iam not able to extract the AM and PM in the pwer query editor, i dont no whats the problem is
Just watch the way I did it.
Is simple.
Extract the last two characters.
@@datalab365 it's not working, if iam trying to extract the AM and PM data, that before the Time seconds only extract not the AM and PM extracts
Sir from the given dataset hospital there is no AM and PM for extract and please tell us how to add this

Thanks 🙏👍
AM and PM don't appear in the column of date if you could help me in that pleas
go to transform and choose data type as datetime and then in formula replace with this. = Table.TransformColumns(
#"Reordered Columns",
{{"date", each DateTime.ToText(_, "dd/MM/yyyy h:mm:ss tt"), type text}}
)
not getting green and red points while AM/PM filtering
Thank you for everything .
I have learned a lot from you and I am still learning .
you are talented and a genius ❤❤❤❤😁😁
at 1:37:25 I am not able to select Values Max Point in Data lable even after selecting and following the earlier step...could you please help
can someone help me out ..... for me in line chart (1.11.17) when i plot my month with the total patient , the line chart dosent form . it gives in x axis as blank . what can i do ?
I don't find Format tab in 42:32 in new version of power bi, where to find it?
At the date column, the AM and PM are not showing. Any guidance?
If you extract them in power query you are supposed to see it.
Rewatch the power query transformation I did.

May I know from where did you get the dataset.. like kaggle or dataworld?
Do make vedios on making dashboards using Deneb. Also write some complex queries as well asnew visualizations. Your vedios are excellent.
Thankful for this project
Line chart for total patient for every month is getting flat line. Please help me with this. I'm stuck here! 🙁
Check for relationship between date table and the FactTable
Try to create new date column in patient table truncating timestamp and build the relationship without the timestamp with date table.
I dont see the option of "Dont Summarize" at 1.07.32 in my dashboard
Is there.

@datalab365 Hi sir thank you for the video, very helpful. From the excel document attached it doesn’t show if it’s AM or PM by default when opened like it does in yours. Can you Please tell me why that is or how I can fix it? Thanks.
It doesn't matter. Open it in power query it will work

Hey, Thanks for the amazing topic. But the problem is that no AM/PM words are available in the date column. Can you please help me out with that...
Convert it in Excel by using custom formatting like: mmm/ddd/yyyy hh:mm AM/PM.
Good luck.

i typed in the code but its showing error saying "DAX comparison operations do not support comparing values of type Text with values of type Integer. Consider using the VALUE or FORMAT function to convert one of the values."
Check the columns you use In your dax. Either of the columns are formatted with the wrong date type other than number
i am facing problem with date column and not getting AM/PM at the end of each record, follow all steps of yours, please suggest what should i do?
You are to extract it from the Power Query.
Just highlight the date column and go to add column then extract and extract the last 3 characters
Thank you so much for your valuable time...this going to be more useful for me❤thank you so much.
Good to know it helps you.
@@datalab365 I have spend 3 days to complete this project... finally it's done
Hi @@datalab365, I am unable to filter month and total patients. Even though I created correct relationship between date table and patients table. Can you help me with this.
Very Detailed Explanation, Waiting for more fun video's.
Surely. Thanks for watching
Can you share the link of the dashboard please?
Nice one but AM/PM problem
I followed your steps but there where you said "power BI doesn't recognize true or false" I had to put them in a bracket to make the command hold
That was because your data type is text, you should have changed it to True/False data type in Power Query.
I have a problem in 1:20:23. This is the prompt that I used:
CF Max Point (Month) =
VAR _PatientTable =
CALCULATETABLE(
ADDCOLUMNS(
SUMMARIZE('Date','Date'[Month]),
"@Total_Patients",[Total Patients]),
ALLSELECTED()
)
Error: The syntax for ')' is incorrect.
would you help me with this issue? Thx

Check the patient sat score column, make sure the date type is number and not text.
Do that in Power Query.
