- Here I have taken my @AfricanAncestryDNA #matriclan DNA test to find out more in depth where my ancestry comes from in my mother to mother blood line. I had previously back in 2021 taken the @AncestryUS DNA test and found out a wider range of regions where my people whom of which were scattered as I can imagine came from.
I was excited to find my tribe of people and it has been a spiritually liberating experience diving into the world of the #Mendewomen and learning how strong these women are still to this day.
I have yet to discover my patriclan DNA results for the men in my bloodline as a mixed African we have many lineages of African in our blood from migration, slavery, and so on.

What about the patrilineal lineage ? Does it show that too ?
Also the result sheet looks like there's some regions that have been scratched off.
What are they ?
The patrilineal side can only be taken by a male so my father would have to take the test in order to find out the other half.
Also the parts I crossed off in my ancestry DNA test were the non African percentages from slave owners outside of the continent that I have no desire to learn about. Such as European areas that otherwise I have no immediate known family from.
