- Gamers aren’t perfect. Sometimes we do some dumb stuff that just leave us wondering how we survived this long. And even esports aren’t immune to these complete lapses of judgement.

That balls pentakill never gets old, especially since he was getting flamed by everyone because he was diamond 2 in Korean solo queue
I always mishear the commentator and think that hes saying "Baus"
wait he was diamond in Korean soloq? i thought he was diamond in NA
fuck man i joined the flame becase i thought he was actually diamond thats shit how misinformation spreads
guess when u have balls out of diamond they aint so weak anymore
How can someone who’s never play dota or LOL or any of those type of games understand wtf is going on in those clips? It looks like one giant clusterfuck... identifying anything seems impossible.
@@JCDxDRaMa it is almost impossible to know what’s going on without actually playing the game.
They didn’t show the 1g clip :C
Man
Agreed, they lost that game because of that. Poor Summit.
sry they hit their quota even in 1 month
finally that clip been in too many tops lol
Just going to note these down in my word.exe file

That evo moment is great, and I always love when traditional sports casters who “get it” jump in on the fun things that happen in esports.
I'm surprised s1mples knife fail on map point in the semifinal of ESL One Cologne 2019 against Liquid isn't on here. It literally cost them the map and they eventually lost 2 - 0. Liquid went on to win the tournament.
They lost 2-1 actually if I remember correctly, so it quite literally lost them the series
@@andyyang1721 according to hltv they lost 2 - 0.
@@Jmvars was the knife not in the groups?
@@Jmvars I believe that was a different game, the game with the knife was the upper bracket semi final. Navi lost d2 in ot and won the following map of overpass 16-14, so s1mple's knife attempt basically lost them the entire series
He did it trusting his teammates to win
"this mess taught riot to never change their game before the biggest tournament of the year" *sigh* they did it again in valorant first strike
did they?
But they reverted it fortunately
@@ninjafaraz6109 Not even close to as big of a fuck up as what happened with League but I guess some people are that desperate to force funny comments
What they do
@@krazylion9743 they semi-reworked a meta agent like 2 days before the tournament. Not as bad as league but the fact they expected them to completely adjust all their strats and even determine if she was still playable in 2 days is ridiculous. Luckily it was reverted for the tournament.
7:17 I haven’t played the game in years but I’ll never forget that Moth face, he looks like he just watched someone kick a puppy

The storm aside, I'm just surprised they thought playing outside was ever a good idea. I know I sometimes have a hard time seeing dark areas of my monitor when the sun is out. That's when I'm playing inside! Let alone outside IN the actual sun! And since the teams are facing different directions, what if one team has the sun (regardless of cloud coverage) right behind them on their monitors - or the other team has it in their eyes?
I don't now. Being outside is awesome, but for a computer gaming tournament it doesn't seem like a controllable enough environment or ideal at all. But I bet it looked good on paper.
That first one is EXACTLY what I do whenever I try ADC. Even though I know I suck, I can't help but think that somehow if I flash into the middle of the enemy team I'll be able to pull of some sort of miracle and get a pentakill.
Number of pentakills I've ever got: 0.

ok, to be fair, Myth falling off the map was due to a glitch when he placed the ramp and it launched him. Still funny though
Ahhh, so that explains why he's raging
Yeah the ramp above him pushed him which i believe was eventually changed. The thing is he has died from fall dmg multiple times
It wasn’t a glitch. He jumped, and when you jump under a ramp it pushes u forward a little
@@blusalblusal4804 that was a time before people started abusing that though so nobody really knew it pushed you as it was placed yet.

Still, the biggest fucked up that lead to the numerous esports event been collapsed in its history was when Scott Valencia joined the CPL org. Then he took Intel sponsorship from CPL and started up World Series Video Games which made CPL crumbled & end up defunct in around 2007. Unfortunately, WSVG also didn't last long and crashed & burned, later. After that, Scott went to Championship gaming series. CGS spent a ton of money in the space. Then, they crashed and burned again. Apart from that, KODE5 was also one of the biggest event for CS that started around 2006, then they became a scam when their organizer stop paying the team who'd won the prizepool of the tournament anymore, since 2008(according to the statement by the manager and the player from team Fnatic, SK, mTw & eXecutors who'd involved at the event back then). KODE5, then, end up folding since like 2010. I will say, late 2006-2009 were the darkest year for CS esports
If allowing an untested character in a tournament is a reason to qualify for the list, I don't know how EVO Leroy 2019 didn't make it.
You mean allowing 4 untested characters in THE biggest tournament of the year which also happens to be the biggest tournament of Esports?
So disappointing to hear Sully got bullied in school like that. Feelsbadman.

i like the one where they playing Counter-Strike. They won and all they had to do was hold E on the bomb. One team member celebrated too early and grabbed the player that was holding E on the bomb to defuse it and nudge his hand off the E button and the bomb went off. Dude was so shocked. They had to continue the round again. So embarrassing
There was a LOL tournament where the players 'fixed' the bracket by playing one game of the best of 5 as an ARAM or something like that. Later the team's chat leaked (from Discord I think?) and they found out that both teams got into an agreement to split evenly the first and second prizes between the players, so it didnt matter who would win.
All I remember after that is that Riot's statement was to DQ both teams and just kept it as was, 3rd and 4th place who sould have ascended to 1st and 2nd did NOT, so they kept the money prize that should have went to the top two spots, IDK what happened after but was pretty shitty from both sides.
It was Dignitas vs. Curse. IWillDominate has a video talking about it
You should do a "Top 10 Finals of all eSports", kinda like what they mean at the moment, the context, the crowd or epicity, team rivalry... These things, you know(?)
Jensen not ulting as ekko better be on here
a classic
hm??
In MSL Starcraft league 2010. There was an serious blackout while match of Flash vs Jaedong. It was one of the biggest fuck ups in Korean esports.
goats too
it was dominant for a year
an early version made an appearance in the PHI vs LDN 2018 final
it wiped out the biggest group of heroes in the game, led to many dps players retiring or getting benched for a long time, led to the creation of 2-2-2 role lock
maybe couldve been put w the LoL since both were based on metas defined by a class(one being OP and one being nonexistent)
me looking at league highlights having no idea whats going on 0_0
watched this after running it down, makes me feel better lmao
I can’t help but laugh seeing the setups with all the computers around the table 😂
I can imagine the ibuypower core becoming an all time great team like Astralis... i wish things turned out differently
That Cody Sun play was almost good. He got 2 stacks of his E on Cass and if he didn't miss-auto reksai, that would make his e explode when he ults and he can w out because Cass W and Janna q were down. Reksai was also not burrowed so she couldn't knock him up.
uzi's flash to "kill" the enemy adc who had guardian angel passive up while his team was up 12k with a superior team comp. In the worlds tournament uzi's blunder was the only possible way to lose the game. Definitely should make this list.
Kinda surprised that if we're including bad metas on this list, GOATS in Overwatch wasn't here
Good god that meta was cancer. Pretty sure it killed Competitive Overwatch
yeah not sure why that one was on the list.
Premature celebration in a nutshell. Should be #1, he must have felt like a total fool xd
I keep hoping to see a clip from a EU LCS match featuring Froggen looking heavily disappointed after he and his team lost a match due to some bad throws his team made. I forget if that was when his team was Alliance or Elements, I just remembered it happened like..2015-2016? I keep hoping to see it in this videos.
Do you understand what a mistake is? Actively cheating by fixing matches isn’t a mistake. That’s an active decision to defraud everyone else involved.
How is this even remotely on the list?
It definitely falls in the category though , they made a decision to do this which ended up being a massive mistake
Hope we see "no...quick...silver....sash!"
I'm pretty sure the C9 was coined when they were playing on Hollywood.
ye they showed the right clip but only for a second
The commentary on #3 is so good
i was expecting olafmeister boost in overpass for some reason
That was a good thing for them, for the match until they were DQ'd.
ldqc did a illegal boost too
The 3rd entry is the most painful thing to watch for me, is like getting spawn kill while afk
Myth fell down harder than his view in that tournament.
Ah, fall damage. Something that you always forget to take into account until it ruins your day.
0. Armada rolling into Mango’s rest
Jensen gets way more hate than he should for his ekko play.
Why would he expect to lose 2,000 hp in a quarter of a second? Plus if he used zhonyas he would lose half that health by the time he came out once his shield wore off.
he still have ulti and didn't even use it tho
@@midorimochi61 again, 2,000 hp, quarter of a second. People get one shot by zoe qs in pro play but you dont blame the person who got hit for not expecting to take 2,000 damage from one ability
He got hit by Varus ult and didn't Zhonyas or ult after that, but chose to move forward with approc half health. He didn't get 100-0, so yeah, he should've used either. It's just a throw to move forwards aggressively with 50 % HP there, not predicting he would be focused and try to bait with Zhonyas or ult, that's why the flame is warranted
@@Phoenix_NH Who wouldn't expect a squishy champion to lose all his hp in a second when facing a whole team?
only pro player who never make mistake in the comment
the comb over is real like dude!
I want to note the highest esport bet lose was by a shareholder in Tencent. He made a bet of 950 million yuan which equates to 175million usd on a game of league.
Was expecting for that Woshige moment in EVO.
Luckily it's in this vid.
Pretty sure there should be plays from zven doublelift and rekkles here.
Suomipoke
Doublelift's Jhin vs red buff for funsies
Doublelift vs Crown's Viktor ulti for sadness
4:05 - Warcraft 3: Refunded. Sneaky editor couldn't resist the trolling
I know this isn't really a Rocket League channel, but its criminal that fireburner bumping justn after the 'this is rocket league' shot isn't on this list. iykyk
Love your vids :)
I am so surprised the Summit1g special isn't here
0:04 the figure on the shelf moved by itself. Pretty spooky!
Honorable mention to Life, SC2 player that got a perma ban for match fixing. Since then, we don't even know what happened to him.
For those who don't know he was, back in 2012/2014 considered to be the best zerg player, one of the best ever, especially during that time where the zergs had the weakest meta.
Not only he got a perma ban, he also lost all his titles and was imprisoned for 1 and a half year or something
Morale of the story: don't matchfix people.
finally an actual esport video
cool to use footage of tim and sid,i miss the score :'( used to be so much better than tsn and sportsnet
Nico was lucky this video was created 9 months ago.
C9 Fudge / C9 Blaber yesterday in Game 5
was sitting behind C9 in the 2017 NA finals and you could see him violently shaking
Jensen classic, I came only for this, I knew it will be here 😂🤣
3:40 Not the current use of the phrase "falling off the map" lol
I dont remember exactly what tourney it was but it was one of the first LoL tourneys where the internet disconnected twice and they had to reschedule the tourney...shouldnt that be on here???
In my opinion Battle royale esport events dont really make sense, because there is to much luck involved in a round of BR, for example 2 people drop in the same area but 1 finds a gun immediatly (i wonder who wins such a fight?!). And if your favorite gets killed right away you dont really have something to look at for the rest of the match.
kyxy's aegis deny had to be here :D
The penta vs eg throw in si 2018 was crazy 2-0 up to lose 3-2
First thing I heard " A gaming browser for gamers" At first didnt notice it was a commercial. But really thought that it was one of the "Fuck ups" :D
Oh is this some paradise video?
I'm surprised that G2 forgetting to defuse the bomb/Saksa's Naga Siren sleep aren't here
Calling match fixing a “mistake” is sort of cringe. You talk about it like they did nothing to deserve their punishment.
They tried to protect skadoodle and swag, saying they didn't know about the match fixing. 3 members and a coach is already enough to throw a professional match as ska and brax wouldn't be able to carry by themselves
Yeah, people complaining the punishment was "too harsh" is weird to me- as soon as you _fix a match_ for money, either by betting against yourself or simply by taking a bribe to throw by the people who are betting against you, you can no longer be allowed to compete in a professional game, because you *cannot be trusted.*
Wasnt a mistake but it was a massive fuck up
@@ArcaneAzmadi swag was a minor at the time and valve took away his entire future in their decision. He should not be given equal punishment to the fully grown adults in that scenario. There's a reason minors are tried differently than adults in normal court cases. Swag should've been given leniency given his age.
@@MrNutburger Swag was old enough to play professionally for money. He was old enough to understand what he was doing, and that it was wrong. I'm sick of the excuse of "they're a minor" being used as an everything-proof shield, as if kids are mentally handicapped to the level of pets until the moment they reach an arbitrary number of birthdays- kids may be dumb, but teenagers are not completely oblivious. Also, "took away his entire future"? BECAUSE he's a minor, he was young enough to still adapt and move on to another game if he wanted.
Can’t believe Fly abandoning OG didn’t make this.
Surprised to see there was no forsaken or s1mple's knife attempt on nitr0 vs TL
wait no sneaky twitch throw ?? awkward i was sure it's going to be there
the warcraft 3 one is honestly disgusting to me. he was going to win one of the biggest matches of his career and then got fucked out of it TWICE by the game.
As big of a game as LOL is, how the hell did they not have the in-game resources to correct his misclick? If they just notified a ref immediately?
thats dota2
It's not a missclick, the captain thought it was they turn to ban that's why he picked that hero.
No Summit in the molly? This list needed at least top 20.
I feel guilty with Cody sun's tristana play since i did that most of the time in pub matches lol
I love this man’s voice
Zven getting destroyed after the disrespect is the best thing that happened in the LCS.
Damn. Can’t believe you’re missing the famed “Brazilian end game drive by” in pubg championships.
D-Did the figure move at the beginning???

That flash at #10 is brutal
I didn't watch the video yet but i'm pretty sure Zven's Ezreal int vs TL game 5 gonna be here

EG Vs. Empire on Oregon?!
Edit: Nani?!?!
I better see DL sawing flashes for next year here
This guy has Azumanga Daioh on his self so he respects the classics.
anyone else notice the little figurine in the background sliding over slightly at seven seconds?
A mistake is unintentional. Their decision to match fix a game was intentional. Distinguishing a mistake from a really dumb decision is important. They absolutely deserve lifetime bans.
I wanna hear the comms of immortals after codysun did that
i imagine its just xmithie saying "x9 cody go next" lol
What about when KyXy denied their aegis to win semi finals series against navi?
Pulling a C9 in DOTA is losing a game because you didn't have a TP scroll, after an epic TI fail.
I think the most unifying force in all of e-sports is that every game has their own horrible f'up called a C9.
Can we get a "Top 10 C9 mess ups that became terminology" video!
Surprised not to see g1’s and shanghai major oopsies
I feel like honorable mention should be Nadeshot COD HBR switch...he retired after that epic fail
I’m guessing the creator didn’t watch LoL in season 2? At worlds during a 45 min game the electricity cut out and the game had to be replayed. Also in a different game, Cpt Jack looked behind him where there was a big ass screen with the enemies and he saw everything. But props for putting Riots other fuck up of season 5 in there
Where is EG's legendary choke job in the 2017 SI from siege?
They were a single 2v1 away from winning the SI and Empire managed to come back because of one dumb play by Canadian
Could you do a story on the streamer TC Zwag, maybe include how his Sona top last year affected pro play?
I love it how they consider a game disconnecting a travesty here but in fifa esports it happens at every event which r LANs btw so image wht it's like playing online
I feel i'm always watching the same videos with a couple different things KEKW
WOSHIGE NOOOOOOOOOO will never not make me laugh lol
