Ben was funny as hell and really enjoyed watching him on GG.. his sarcasm was comedic, sucks he’s not on GG anymore
I think Ben was too much personality for some in GoodGood. As in, he outshone some on camera. He's is a natural talker and commentator just like Bubby. I miss Ben on GoodGood.
This is sus - Ben is that you?🤣 kidding LOL
Forreal, I was always just found him annoying arrogant. He's always trying to be witty, but he's just not that funny. Never made me laugh.
He's a clown. He was arrogant. Like fingernails on a chalkboard never fit in.
I liked Ben as well
Never seen a channel like this one where Nathan just speculates and talks and talks and there is hardly any fact or conclusions!
George and Wesley have talked about this. You got to decide what career you want. Constantly thinking about content will get in the way.
Yet they both are teeing it up in a pro tourney tomorrow.
I think Ben just came off a little snooty at first, he got better with time, but was never really a good fit
If you're an aspiring pro you are practicing plus playing 9-18 holes every day. Obviously this is expensive even at cheaper courses. But you also need to have a certain type of course. It doesn't help to practice on slow greens and crappy bunkers if you play tournaments in prime conditions. You want your practice facilities to match tournament conditions, which is something most good private courses provide.
Not gonna lie. Ever since Grant left i have zéro interest with GG. I still watch GM. But why would we watch GG shoot worse than a trash golfer like me. Not only that, always hated watchin Kwon. The man is the weakest pro of all time.
I seem to be in the minority, but I didn't enjoy Ben in the videos at all. He across (to me at least) as very arrogant and just irked me. That's not to say he isn't probably a super nice guy in real life. But I just don't enjoy who he is in videos at all.
There sure are a lot of guys that bail on good good. Perhaps its the overhead of the company and they're not making enough so they go solo. Perhaps its something else... I suspect, and its just my opinion, that its probably quite snarky and toxic and people just get sick of it.
You never know. But, at the same time, it could just be a lack of chemistry. The OG Good Good may just be locked in. Honestly, I miss Grant, but not Micah. I miss Ben, but not Luke.
Whoever joins Good Good is going to feel like an outsider and its always going to show on camera. having said that, a piece of wood has more charisma than Ben!
Arrogant country club guys? You mean Grant? Lmao
Most public courses don't have an area to hit 100yd and in shots in the practice area. Fairway bunker shots on the range. A solid grass range. I think that's what he's talking about in terms of no where to practice.
There us no doubt good good spring boarded all of the guys who left. None would have made it as quick without them. But they just out grew the silly content.
All the good players leave. Grant. Luke. Ben. One common theme. It’s good good. The remaining jokers are the problem. I stopped watching them it got too ridiculous for me
Agreed. Bubbie the clown is intolerable!
Practice is more then just hitting the range and putting green. You have to play some holes if you want to get to the next level. Now if you have to pay a green fee every day that’s gonna add up.
09:35 "I lay pipe for 14 hours a day" sounds like a great job - Peter North
I liked Ben for all of about a month before I got tired of listening to him
Interesting argument about YT golf vs trying to be pro golfer. Wesley Bryan probably only one who seems to balance the two.
Wesley is primarily a UA-cam golfer these days. If he makes a cut, it's news. A top 10 is stop the presses news.
And Bryson
Off topic from this video, but @nateedwardsongolf can you do a quick video update on if there is going to be a Good Good Championship Tournament this year? And if so when and where, because it seems like it was around this time last year and we have not heard anything about it for this year. Thanks in advance.
They’ve been talking about the next event since right after the first one ended. The Good Good Midwest Open at French Lick
You’re crazy good good biased😂
Professional golfers are out being professional golfers grinding. Name me anyone outside of Bryan Bros who Vlog and play at a high level? They’re an anomaly.
I'm confused you moved to Dallas and you can't practice 😕 you can practice at a 1000 courses that's not a very good excuse
oxymoron. Preparing to be a professional is lost to the distractions and time constraints of content creation. Look at Bubby and Matt. They COULD be better players, plenty of ability, but they don't seem to get better.
Seems to me that everyone besides the original group has left. Why is that? That's the real question.
i watched some Ben Haddon videos. I think what happened was that he talked up every shot and couldnt execute. He also had an excuse for every shot.
100%
So does everyone with good good. Haven't you watched their content? Why do you think they play gimmick golf? Losing clubs, spin the wheel, crap clubs vs. their sponsor? They just aren't good! 4 great golfers leaving them in the last year says a lot! Cooperate is what they are now, they don't care about golf or getting better and becoming a Grant, Tig, or Bryan bros.
huh? Everyone on good goog does that, in fact everyone who plays golf does that lmao. I doubt that's what made him left
@@R3dRa1nManthey are still above average golfers lol Micah literally was Ben before Ben, he talked up shots he couldn’t execute got his ego up and than couldn’t cut it when he tried to go pro and is back to content
I like Ben Hadden and enjoy watching his game but in my personal opinion I just didn't see him as a good fit.
BH had just no good chemistry with the GG core and no usp. He is a worse player than Luke or Brad and is not funny.
They introduced Brad and Ben at the same time in Good Good. I like Brad, but if they had to pick one, I wish Ben stayed. He has way more personality and is more fun to watch.
Crazy take
couldn't disagree more. brad is funnier, nicer, and way better at golf.
The reason why Brad is there still is because he gives the other guys something to strive for in both life on and off the course
Ben came off as prick. Haven't missed him one bit.
Yeah Ben never played to his supposed skill level, and never had anything interesting to say
LA is $20 for a large bucket. Some spots even more now
Blood on your face was a nice touch to this video
Ben was whack
Need a trim brother!
Never heard of him…🤷♂️
“i lay pipe 14 hours a day” 💀
Yeah that comment about putting the phone away to be present when he plays or practices is really a good point. I’m enjoying Ben’s content too mate
Omg good good guys are my heros, im so obsessed especially with bubbie lol
Calling Good Good your heroes especially Bubbie the clown says alot about you!
Ben was painful.
merci
This is exactly what I would’ve expected him to say. He was always visibly frustrated when he wasn’t playing well beyond the normal reactions when you have a bad shot playing with your buddies. He couldn’t function in that “for fun” environment because he’s too serious about improving for that kind of golf life.
Country Club trust fund kids....hmmm.... who are you talking about? 😉
Grant Horvat
All of them? lol. Let's be honest, their all Trust fund kids.
@@spyhunter2410 The original members of Good Good are just regular kids that came from working families. No trust funds. Grant on the other hand is the epitome of trust fund country club kids. As well as the Bryan Bros.
@@chrislw9053I think the point is that Grant's Dad has been a club pro most of Grant's life. I do wonder if Grant's Dad coached at Central Michigan University. I know Grant spent some of his childhood in Mt. Pleasant.
They messed up letting him go.
