Steve Davis was the same. Everyone, including me, thought he was a boring b*stard off the table. And then I found out he’d paid for the French underground band from the 70’s, MAGMA, to reform and play a gig in London, just so he could see them live! They reformed permanently down to Davis.
Who knew Steve “Interesting” David had amazing taste in music!
And now he DJ’s and makes his own electronic music with Kavus Torabi in the group Utopia Strong, who’ve played at Glastonbury and supported The Steve Hillage band on tour!

Hendry is my childhood in the 80s and 90s love snooker brings back so many happy memories playing with my dad in a smoke packed club but they are the best days. My dad passed a few years ago and would love to re-live them days again. Thanks Stephen 👍

Just looking back watching grandstand with my late granddad in the 90s and Stephen being our favourite along with Jimmy White to watch. Itd be an absolute bucket list achievement to have a frame with mine and my granddad's goat. What a fella. Hope bully appreciates this opportunity!

Everyone saying he's never had 102 but it was 30 odd years ago,so it is possible. I used to be a decent pool player years ago,played for a team,won a few trophies. This was in my late teens to mid 20s,now im 53 and i had a game the other day and i couldn't pot anything. If id have told people watching that i had trophies, they'd have all called me a liar. Back then i played every day,that makes a big difference, so it may be true,he may well of had 102 years ago
I concur. I played a year or so ago after not playing for about ten years and I couldn't hit squat and I used to be quite handy. If I took 5 years off playing golf my handicap would go up ten.

Absolutely love Bullard, I never considered golf to be anything but the most boring skill-less sport, now thanks to his energy and the sheer joy of watching him play I now play it to and realise how damn hard a game it is. What a personality this guy is, amazing human being, that goes for hendry too. Great content as always and I’m glad it’s working out for you both on the YT because we love to see it.

@@stabilis8895 believe me i know that now! haha. i think before playing golf i would look at it from the outside and just think its hitting a ball with a golf club in the direction of the hole so how hard can it be right... now i know my fade from my slice and i dont have the skill to plan either one lol.
I guess its like snooker in a sense since were on this channel, to the average viewer its difficult to appreciate the skill required when it just looks like hitting balls around a table but like you rightly say, these guys possess skill we just cant fathom and the requirement of skill to be considered even ''good'' at the game is really high.

I’m a kiwi. I’ve never heard of Jimmy until now. Maybe seen some of his EPL highlights… maybe. I was glued to this episode from the first minute right to the black off the spot. What a class guy. That finish though was absolute gold.
What a blinding few frames of snooker, up there with one of the best cue tips episodes! Jimmy knocked in some nice balls, but you could see Stephens killer instincts come out in the last frame, and he really didn't want to take the lost, class re spotted black! 👌
