Many thanks for answering my question. God indeed gives grace and has provided some relief and support in ministry for me. I had an opportunity to take a short vacation with family, which has refreshed and renewed relationships and has provided some support within the worship ministry. Hi Don! I'm a drummer at our church and I'm also struggling with this as well. I work 6 days a week and Sunday is my only rest day where I can serve the Lord and at the same time, be with my family. And there are also times that I have to go to work on Sundays. I'm really bothered by the fact that I'm starting to lose control of what's happening in my life right now and I'm thinking to whether let go either my commitment with our worship team or my full time job. I really love drumming at church because it was where I grew up knowing the Lord more. However, I also need to work so that I can support my parents since they're getting old. I really need prayers and strength so that I can get through this.
Hey Joel, remember this: no matter how much we struggle to maintain control in our lives, ultimately, God is in control of your life. He is watching over you and has his hand on you, your job and your family. Stay strong in your faith, be encouraged by his steadfast love for you and turn to Him and His scripture in your times of distress. Prayers and blessings to you and your family!

Seek and find your strength in our God! Remember, He has his hand on your life and your family's life. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us this, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight". God bless!
Victory John brother? my advice for you is that you can stop the smocking if you stop what is driving you to smoke OK?if it's friends stop seeing them in Gods House there are better friends and if its what you are going through in life please surrender it to God He will provide or give whatever you ask and if its urge,pray and believe sometimes you may fast,may Almighty God see you through........
Be encouraged in God's love for you John. Look to scripture for peace and encouragement. Remember, we are all sinners and He loves us despite our inadequacies and sins. God bless you!
Victory John my son. has a drinking and smoking problems he is 39 yrs has lost his job he has been.to.rehab .twice but is the same. my husband and I are 70 plus prAying.asking God to.forgive us with.whatever went wrong in the family I request for prayers.
I don't know if I'm misunderstanding but can you clarify what you meant when you said "there are seasons when the grace lifts" cause in my head and I would say biblically God is the same yesterday today and forever and his grace never changes, I don't want to be stirring and being annoying, I'm just worried others will misunderstand
