Finally a video where people are showing a real diy and not only how to snap together premade parts. Awesome job dude! I made simillar thing with my ariel rider clone, chopped everything off and built a new 72V ebike... Dang, I might make even a video :)
Awesome build Kola, well thought out and fantastic job documenting! I saw that same Area 13 video with Kyle talking about the Walfisk tank bag and thought that bag is so cool I have to somehow incorporate one into my next bike. Instead of going scratch built I decided on the next version of the Power Goat with a pair of 60V 20ah (17S) Samsung Batteries. When it arrives next month I'll either shorten up or replace the long seat to accommodate the Warrior Tank Bag.
I carry my Glock 26 everywhere i go on my E Bike...you never know when you might need it! Nice bike and i feel you with no sleep when customizing your bike. Im always messin with my bike!
Thanks, i've actually had some wheel covers in my cart since may but i haven't pull the trigger yet because i think want it looking too much like a motorcycle. but then again i just might.
Fantastic job Mad Skills, you did a great job brother if you wanted a second battery that shake just like the storage unit you can get one off of Power goat that is shaped just like that and they will give you a converter kit so that you can plug both batteries into it and then the one plugs into the converter then you'll have dual battery
Your build is great. Just one opinion of mine is to apply edge protection like those we use on cars to the panels. Also the holes where the wire go into them. Maybe put like an elastic seal the expands and contracts depending on the size of the cable to help eliminate the worry of water going into the storage. Also there are gaps at the bottom where the panels meet the frame. Try apply sealing rubber with double sided tape to avoid water and dirt getting in from under. Inline your build. Is am currently doing a build myself and I must tell you brother I am exhausted at how many hurdles i have to overcome. I am currently on the braking mechanism for mine. I am trying to do what hasn’t been done before for e-bikes. I am using Lewis ep6 front and ep8 back motorcycle grade brakes with 250mm rotors front and back with aftermarket automated braking system. Took me 4 months to find the parts together but i am going strong. After this I will move on to my greatest difficulty. The side panels 😂 I am definitely copying your panels. A thief is born
Edge protection sounds good. Though the holes/vents on the enclosure are actually intentional. My battery is already water proofed, but since the battery is there, i wanted some vents so heat being generated can escape. My tools are also in a water resistant bag inside the enclosure. I don't ride in the rain, but even if i did get caught, i'm fine with a little water getting in there. And for the bottom i did put something to prevent mud. And yeah those side panels are gonna be a but challenging, i'm impressed by your braking system though.
@PaulPaid I think i just might use those sheets later. The front guard i chose is interesting as it's a two part. There's another part bolted on to the frame itself behind that front tire. I've been riding ebikes since 2018 and i never ride in rain so it's hard to say how it'll perform in that, but it works well for the occasionally splashes i've been in.
Yes, but it depends on how far from home. For an example the bike died on me during a few of my test and i easily pedaled home when i was about a mile from home. But when i was about 6miles from home i just called the uber, i'm going through pcp treatments instead of getting another knee surgery so for me pedaling long distances is painful and not ideal for my healing process.
Very Sweet build!! While I'm waiting on my Motor Goat V3, I'm halfway tempted to build a bike around that same frame. Also, if you are interested, I can send you a CAD cut file for an aluminum battery case (all I would need are the dimensions of that open frame space area.)
You should check out redshift foot pedals those are some of the best and brightest and coolest bike pedals I have ever seen and I did not regret buying them for my motor goat V3 I got a different set for $40 off of Amazon for my power goat which are just as fine but I prefer the red shift those are amazing
I have leds wrapped around this bike, plus i can change the colors or brightness level. All running off the main battery. Super bright at night. Those pedals are cool too though.
How did you atatch the bag to the frame. Im building something similar and it would be great for the controler as its a big sabvaton that wont fit under the seat. Great build man looks awesome
I bet it’s a lot only because it has litterally everything you wanted wich is why it’s worth it to you may not make sense to the average ebike customer but that’s what makes it perfect 👍
Super dope bike. I hope to one day make something like this. Researching frames, dropouts are sketchy! I want a lyric graffiti x frame with that solid dropout or lack there of
Damn Bro you did your thing. That's the design I have in my mind except for the unique storage door. That door design is genius. I might have to copy that. 1 question, would that bottom bracket except a BBSHD?
Man I have been searching for a lomg time for a build idea and you brought my dream to life. I want to build something similar to it but with the rear racks and saddle bag classic look for me. But damn dude this is so freaking awesome. Even my son wants to build one. He went out and got a part time job when we found your part one video so he can save for it. He wants it for his engineering project for school and to go back and forth. Again thx for your hard hard and ideas.
@@KingKola_ white because it absorbs less heat I've made a few things out of abs plastic same color as the abs in your video in prolonged exposure to sunlight it can get very hot

@kennethpaschall6811 I see, that does make sense, but it'll completely throw off the vision i have for the bike and that's not a sacrifice i'm willing to make.
You basically built a knockoff motor goat V3 LOL I'm not knocking it or anything it looks fantastic brother great job but I have that mg V3 and that's literally what it looks like is the same as my bike and it sounds like you got the same power and wattage the only difference is you got spoke wheels where I got the I don't know what the hell you call them it's not spoke don't go and check out what I'm talking about on power goat motor bikes. Once again fantastic job though it does look beastly and I wonder how they would compare against mine? That is curious
Thank you. Yeah it has similarities to motor goat, as well as super 73 rx, and most like the black warrior which was my inspiration. But the reality is all cafe racer style ebikes including v3 are built to look similar to cafe racer style motorcycles. Honestly though, all these ebikes use motors and controllers from basically the same place and just build or buy their frames in bulk and slap their logos on it. I've opened plenty of ebikes, and their internals are all the same. As far as how it directly compares power wise to the goat? Very similar for now, but mine is more efficient at the same speeds. I have lots of upgrades coming soon too.
your content quality is good but your channel"s video tags /CHANNEL TAG SECTION NEED OPTIMIZATION FOR MORE ORGANIC GROWTH. Are you concern about your youtube Growth?
Yes, because to qualify as building it, you have to mine the lithium to make the batteries yourself, and refine iron ore. It's like people fail to realize that companies that "make" ebikes order their parts from many sources, and assemble them, and put their own branding on them.
@slappy0079 the problem is you're getting too technical in a casual setting. I mean who makes Iphone? Apple right, well would you say apple doesn't make iphones since samsung makes their displays, or since Asian workers mine the minerals that make the parts, would you say ford doesn't build cars since they also buy parts, would you say you don't make food since you don't grow your plants and raise your livestocks? Houses built use bought materials. So sure i didn't mine minerals, or even weld frames and such it doesn't take away from the fact that i built it. Primary definition of to build something is to put together.
Even in the very video i put "build" in quotation marks because there would always be someone out there, watch a video looking for ways to talk down or get very technical.
