      The dodge attacks are too slow, clunky with the fixed timing, and the rant was way too long and unecessary. I understand your point of view put more than half of the video was you complaining about dumb parts of the community, why even bother?

      Nothing wrong with it. You laid the ground work for the vid perfectly in my opinion. We should take more accountability. Its all to easy to complain and critise and that's what you were getting across. Never change Freeze never change.
      Whilst I'm here I enjoy seeing you in a lot of the vids with the devs now too. Its brilliant.

      I agree that the dodge attack animations being reused isn’t a big deal. But if you don’t think Medjays entire kit is littered with reused animations you’re crazy. The mocap weapon likely exists specifically for executions that would be too much of a hassle to be made by hand.

    If we're only speaking of animations, I like them quite a lot. A simple, concise and direct attack, noting exaggerated like 90% of the game is today. I especially like Warlord, where he seems to put his shield forward too, which is top realism!

      I really dislike most of the animations, I think the could have done so much better while increasing variety, I wouldnt have hated for one of those heroes to get a dodge bash for instance. Agree about wl's (and hl's) looking cool tho, the others are too generic for my taste

      I don't dislike the animations,but what you're saying isn't really true,Warlord keeps the shield on his side even if he move him forwards,so it wouldn't protect him unless the opponent does a bash move and end up on his side during the animation (which is the point of the dodge attack,so it makes sense with the internal logic of the game,but not with reality)
      Also HL's is still silly exagerated nonsense,but his entire gimmick is spinning around with an oversized sword,so it fits its identity (The one time this buzzword actually makes sense)
      All of them are really well thought out in how they transition to follow-ups,causing pratically no frame skipping,so that's a big win for the animation team.

      @@Wird97 It's nothing that cannot be fixed. Ubi already has changed/tweaked animations overtime to make them prettier and more fluid. I remember that they did it to LB without even mentionning it in a patchnote and every LB mains were scratching their heads, not quit sure if it has changed or not :D
      They'll probably do it again for those. They don't look bad, but they lack polish.

      I think they look absolutely terrible with the exception of Warlord and HL but each to their own i guess. Centurion's especially looks really janky, i feel like they should have reused the old third side light animation for a dodge attack instead of that thrust.

    I personally don't mind reused animations, as long as they look convincing (looking at you gryphon). I still think there's nothing wrong with comparing them to the original moves

    Pretty sure the mocap weapons for Medjay were only used for executions (except one which is also recycled animations) because his actual animations in game are definitely recycled.

      Both axe and staff form do have some reused attack animations, but they also have a LOT of newly mocapped animations, not just the executions. There are plenty of attacks which have no equivalent in existing movesets (top light finisher for staff, side finishers for axe, axe zone, staff bash, etc are easily distinct) and some which look similar to existing ones, but are not the same - which runs into the same issue with these dodge attacks, and people comparing them by eye. For example, in staff mode, he's the only character with a pole weapon that slashes with both ends of his weapon (LB + Raider poke). And on top of that, all the transition animations, throw animations, idle poses, emotes, etc are unique.
      The majority of Medjays animations are uniquely mocapped. Remember that as well as showing off the mocap props on stream, Freeze was actually there... you can probably assume he isn't reaching incorrect assumptions about the dev process...
      @Benjamin Mayall - How do you know that so confidently? Do you realise how difficult it is to make hand crafted animation merge well with mocapped stuff? Also whilst the movements are similar, they are not the same, the characters have different body poses, leg positions, angles etc. Plus the moves are completely different speeds and look appropriate for those speeds, not just fast ones slowed down. It's probably easier just to mocap new animations even if they are similar, than spend loads of time and effort reworking their whole animation pipeline to tweak existing ones.

    So you're saying BPs is not exactly the same as valkyrie? Sure there are only a number of ways to stab with a weapon but this is a very specific body movement

      Exactly. Also, if warmonger had reused animations because of the pandemic, how the hell did they make her executions, emotes, and other unique animations? If they couldn't mocap, how did they do them?
      They probably could, they just cut corners and reused animations. I personally don't mind it. Reused animations are not that big a deal to me as long as they look convincing, but to say that they couldn't record them, or that these are new animations is ludicrous

    I mean ubisoft showing that they use mocap again doesn’t mean they are not reusing animations anymore, Medjay himself that you mentioned is a victim of that. Will they reuse them less in the future? Maybe. But they still reuse them and complaint is still legitimate.
    And also BP’s left dodge attack animation is taken from Valk, so your argument that “these dodge attacks are new” isn’t true.

    The animation doesnt flow well as its just added there for the sake of being a useful feature, also the new character doesnt look like he has new mocapd moves, they do look like a cross between shaolin/berzerker, even if they are new, doesnt escape the fact it feels like a hybrid of the two characters than a completely new character.
    That aside, the amount of actual salt in the first half of this video could rival half that of the for honor sub-reddits.

    I quite like the dodge attacks. Being unable to reliably punish the bashes they were meant to counter is... Worrying, but such is the way of life when pirate can instantly chain into hyperarmor and whatnot.
    I am also glad that they are lights with light parry punishes. It feels better to completely cut my offense to get a parry when it rewards me; it also does a lot to deter people from spamming them in the middle of my combo, making my mix ups that force a reaction a lot more solid in my opinion.

    My complaint is that the animations are not very distinct. Most of the heros perform some sort of spin when doing a dodge attack. The new ones don't and are thus hard to see, especially when in a group fight.

    Medjay is mostly reused attacks. The MoCap was almost definitely used for taunts and executions
    The dodge attacks are provably reused. Jorm's even still uses the Valkyrie weapon effect when you poke

    I personally love this update, and think the devs nailed it.
    Admittedly, having a dodge attack get blocked is annoying, but I think simply having a dodge attack has made a few characters a bit more alive, weirdly enough. Like I always thought: “why don’t they all attack with a stab or slash to counter whilst dodging?”
    And on an unrelated note, Valk rework is pretty solid imo. Tiandi may be a lil overboard though. Once again, just my opinion.

    I agree with your point that people do complain a lot and word their complaints poorly but I don't really agree with anything else on the video.
    You say that there isn't much variety in a stab, and that could be true if they were all using the same weapon. Cent is using a short sword, BP is using a much longer thinner sword, warlord is using a sword that he pretty much only slashes with, and yet they all use the same animation. I'm not even going to mention Jorm who uses the same animation as them but uses a damn hammer, I mean what the hell is he stabbing them with??
    The Valkyrie point you made is weird as well considering the fact that you're calling people out for saying the animation is the same as hers, and then question them about putting it side by side, but then you proceed to not put it side by side yourself and disprove that. Either way, all of them are using the same animation from her, with the exception being Highlander who reuses the animation from his dodge forward heavy feint into side heavy.
    All in all I'm all for giving character dodge attacks, and as it was stated they are meant to be tools used to keep up with the rest of the roster and not really meant to be unique anymore, but I still think they could have made it more bodied to the character rather than make them all the same animation. Hell even if they did it like Highlanders and just reused an animation already on their kit. Anyway I'm glad that they're at least doing this and I still don't quite understand the points made in the video. Sorry if I'm misinterpreting them.

    I like the simplicity of them, I main cent and I like that now I can punish conq, lawbro, shugo, etc and that's it no fancy move I can have my same playstyle and now punish some move that before were a pain in the ass ex: dodged lawbro bash I hand to wait and see if he lights or heavys now it's a lot easier to play as cent in my opinion

    I think warlords dodge attack should have Crush and counter properties. The animation looks like he is blocking before he pokes so I was surprised to learn it doesn't crush nd counter

    exactly I never seen the reason why people complain about reused animations. like really how many ways do you expect them to swing with a sword or stab with a spear that properly work with guard direction and doesn't look stupid. Im surprised ubi hasn't made a hero who uses a two handed mace and smacks enemies with the handle side of it

    Getting to understand the data behind these new dodge attacks, I've got to say I think I quite like them as they are now for the most part. The enhanced part of them means that even if you don't get the full reward of making the correct read/reaction you are still getting to start your chain pressure which is overall really nice. Also while Nobushi having s on her throw and kick follow-ups is funny, I hope they patch it out.
    The only other opinion I really have about the balance of dodge attacks is that I feel like they should adjust the input windows universally, I feel that light dodge attacks should have variable input windows as the risk of throwing them out is much higher, and heavy dodge attacks should have static ones as getting parried with a heavy results in a relatively low punish. That would balance the risk reward between the two without making either inherently inferior and would mean characters with delayable dodge heavies like Kensei, Shaolin and Shaman can't effectively cover 3/4 mixups options with one input and miniscule risk.

    They could’ve been so much better with less effort, for example jorm could’ve had his zone as his dodge attack but just side stepping a little animation wise with opposite side attack from his dodge, as this applies to centurion with his zone, bp can have his zone bash as a dodge bash like conq, warlord is fine as it is.
    I hate ppl in the community coping with ubi’s laziness saying “sth is not that bad” or “i actually like it” when u dont like it in reality. I understand for honor is not getting as much budget as they used to but if the community keeps covering for them they will be even more lazy and unoriginal. The dodge attack for jorm, cen and bp lacks their individuality, it breaks the character when they have a attack that does fit them. We as a community needs to start crying about it or else don’t surprised if the next hero will be more uninspired with a generic dodge attack, bash undodgable mix-up and unblockable as a heavy finisher.
    I have said all i can, plz wake up

    I mean those dodge attacks helps, but to be honest i would prefer them to be bit more unique to characters. For example on Jorm i would like to see some kind of bash dodge that would do damage, even shugo has it, but im still glad that my boy Jorm has a move like that.

    I wasn't ever saying it was valks pin or I wasn't even sure if it was a reused animation, I was complaining that most of them looked very similar (see jorms and cents) but your right, I wasn't thinking about covid and the massive lock down, pair that with the fact the dev team isn't particularly big, it's fair that some animations are the same and/or look similar.     It's weird that these additions were meant to punish bashes, but they all get blocked. They need to speed it up a click, cuz rn they're just blocked enhanced chain starters. it's a win-lose situation with the attack, where you don't land an attack but you can now chain lol
    The argument with attack-on-read vs. attack-on-react is something I can get behind, but it feels like the purpose that Ubi wanted for these attacks aren't there because the attacks get blocked.
    From a game design perspective, it's a little weird that Cent's dodge attack is on light input instead of heavy. Since all of his stabs come from the heavy attack, I would imagine it would be a heavy input. Vortiger could also have been a heavy, given his forward dodge, but it's not bewildering. Warlord feels right for a stab considering his kit and where stabs are used.

    I tweeted it at you a few weeks ago, but when you mentioned the cretins that, after 6 years, still struggle to parry Kensei's dodge attack for reasoning of it coming from the opposite side, it reminded me of the time I saw someone complaining about it on the main subreddit. I left a simple, kind and well thought-out reply saying they just need to practice matchup knowledge and know what heroes do what -
    And I was immediately swarmed with 50+ downvotes. This wasn't even the Rants subreddit, just to be clear, this was the MAIN SUB.

    I have not been overly concerned with animations for a long time. Because I've mostly realized that this being a five year old (Ubisoft) game that spent a good few years through the pandemic, probably means that funding and resources have been low for a while. That and there are only so many ways you can make a swing/stab look unique.

    I like the animations but I'd change how they work for some and add more for others. For Jormungandr, I'd give him a dodge forward light to go along with his side dodge lights and I'd do the same for Centurion. I'd make Black Prior's side dodge lights into side dodge heavies instead so it matches his dodge forward heavy and I'd do the same for Warlord. It just feels weird that they have side dodge lights with dodge forward heavies and I think that that if a character has a side dodge light than they should have a forward dodge light as well and it should be the same with side dodge heavies. Highlander's is great though.

    I don’t see the problem that much. In fact this change makes me happy… I used to play Cent and feel like any time I had to fight something with a bash I was at an automatic disadvantage, and this helped a ton. I’ve been able to win more and lose to less bash spam.

    Its quite ironical that Freeze, while complaining on a toxicity of FH community, has become a living example of it. Remember when he was a level-headed guy who calmly listened even to the most outrageous complaints in order to give proper, measured explanation? Well, now it is a full-on preaching mode all the time, regarding most players as incompetent animals with zero brain cells. I mean, of course there are some of them, but treating them and their complaints as a voice of the majority? That is an overkill.
    I guess, that's For Honor for you - the game has a way to turn even the best of us into toxic salt-throwers

      When was this? And if he did give explanations for the most outrageous complaints, there would still be messages like this saying he was too harsh with his tone blah blah blah
      Like god forbid you had a stupid take on video game balancing, god forbid you are wrong about something. These comments just always come off as passive aggressive complaints from people who take their critiques way too personally.
      Thats a real issue with for honor too and why so many players were dedicates to cult- like biases towards certain characters for arbitrary reasons.
      When you play this game knowing most the ins and outs and for 5+ years you see the a average player complaining about the game without even being able to explain their most basic gripe and left to vague jibberish or just some completely deluded person who wants the game personalized for their skill level.
      Its exhausting and the reason I havent done my stupid FH comment reading series. Which when I started it out, I made sure to do my best to explain why people were wrong, only to have argue with people who want to die on the same hill as some random stupid comment. And that video was half the runtime when I just started calling the posts stupid briefly and moved on.

      ​@@yungmalaria I will probably sound as one of those "dead on the same hill" commenters, but I'd like to explain my point a bit, not out of spite, but because I got some free time and want to elaborate since, yes, I agree that this does indeed sounded as passive-aggressive whining.
      First of all, yes, there are fanatical biases, but don't forget not all of them like that. Its easy to forget that some criticisms are valid when they are drowned in idiotic ones. I just hoping I'm among the valid ones.
      So, the reason I made that comparison of "then vs now" is not because of this particular video, but because I noticed that these rants are getting more often and more aggresive, this one is just the latest one. Want proof? Here, I looked at his videos from just a year ago and took ones that are more rant-like:

      Feel the difference there - almost no insults and swears, no grimacing, while considering and making conclusions of various points of view. While here we have mocking, insults, swearing and general degrading of all who have opposing point of view, up to a direct comparison of people as animals (Notice there're a lot of "you are..." in this one, while in elder videos there's more "these\some\other people" kind of addressing to the viewer).
      Don't believe me, check for yourself - for the past half a year, maybe more, he got progressively more angry and caustic, while elder ones are more thoughtful.
      Yes, I get that hearing same stupid complaints from average players for 5+ years are exhausting, but here's the thing - they will always be there. There will always be new ones, frustrated ones and stupid ones - and all of them will always be the loudest ones. Most people ARE learning, its just that the majority is, and always will be, silent. Freeze, as a seasoned content creator and player, already knows that, or at least he should be.
      Its sad to see that content creator that used to be analytic and thoughtful became so arrogant. Now its not "this is wrong, here's why", now its "if you think like this, you're a stupid sheep, you should shut up and think like this". And thats why I wrote what I wrote - to point that out, with a small hope that it might lead to thinking and maybe some self-reflection.
      I'm sorry if that sounded as an insult, I guess that as a FH player myself I too got passive-agressive.

      @@resspawn26 I think you have to look at the perspective of constant exposure, I have the tolerance to delve through these discussions out of my own curiosity.
      Theres plenty of players who are on and off the game over periods of time and just sit on the sidelines as the peanut gallery giving the most unrealistic expectation for the game balance. Its obnoxious to the people who spend the time helping both the game improve and improving the abilities of players, get told they are ruining the game by people who often don’t even have arguments, just opinionated rants that are not relevant to the video topic.
      The bigger problem is people making vague rants about mechanics they don’t understand in the first place. And the individuals who continuously argue with players who ARE objectively better than them and did the research to find out the answer is what frustrates me. Freeze may be putting together the videos, but the info he uses in them while not being gospel, is backed up with the most accurate testing and insight from the best players. Then theres that other percentage of schizos that misquote things entirely and try to say he’s arguing something different.
      I’ve also heard people say the thing about freezes attitude in videos ever since the Raider rework rant video he made. If I didnt myself have similar experiences to him when it comes to the community and their stubbornness, I probably wouldn’t defend it at all.

    Yea the medjay mocap props are very obviously only used for executions. And these dodge attacks are obviously reused and altered dodge attacks for most part. Stop fooling yourself. Saying that tho I don’t even mind them. I like the look of them and do wish that cents was a heavy inline with his character and that warlord had superior block properties tho that could make him annoying to fight against dk.

    Highlander defenetly the biggest winner here. Feels smooth and the forward movement really helps in teamfights too.
    BP also alright the recovery cancel into flip leads to some nice plays in group fights. Tho the chainlink into the allguard feels a bit weird.
    Jorms is very weird, expected a bash tbh it would fit his kit more, but it does its job as a bash counter. Has also great forward movemeng which kinda works like a chase in duels, tho pretty limited. Also funny how it seems to have more hitbox than his unblock.
    Cent nothing insane, does its job.
    WL I dont play him much cant say a lot about it.
    Conclusion: They do their job, some champs also got some nice new play options, but defenetly not what I expected and a bit sad that they are a light parry but have nothing to compensate like being undodgable for example.

    I highly highly doubt that Medjay's animations aren't reused even if you saw the reveal that they have mokapped that's literally a front. Ubisoft especially Montreal has done this plenty of times... Even if it's true they should not use the same person for mokapp.

    I haven't watched the vid yet but I tried warlord/ jorm (haven't used them in a while) and it's sort of better since there kits are a bit bare bones compared to others. But bp I never used it, it never felt like a positive option. But hey oh well it certainly made playing against them easier with light parries....

    I don't get why the dodge attacks weren't just linked to their existing attacks like Highlander. Wouldn't have seen anything wrong with a side dodge light animation from their existing moveset. Warlord's animation at least looks decent.

    Someone actually said the animations are the same without checking it? If they want to see a difference between two stabs with their cavemen eyeball they're just dumb. I love that they gave these characters a dodge attack but i would really like for Jorm to have a dodge bash that drains stamina. Jorm is bad anyway and a bash would make him negate armor.

    I wouldn't call the animations reused, they just personally feel a bit janky, especially centurion and black prior since their arms pause mid stab during the dodge unlike a lot of the others that flow more seamlessly into their dodge attacks, for instance highlander or warlord. Not only do they feel rushed, but almost feel like they were done by fresh interns as their first animation project at Ubisoft. As someone that works on video games for a living, it's pretty obvious these animations were divvied poorly, weren't quality checked beforehand or were done last minute in the production cycle

    I personally don't see any problem with giving dodge attacks to the whole cast. I see it as an expansion to how the game plays, making room for tighter responses and adding another option besides just parrying/blocking or dodging. Deciding when to dodge or to dodge attack is to be its own section of gameplay now, and I'm here for it. As for "animation reuse", I agree it has been a pitfall for me as well as anyone else, but it's something to acknowledge as not the base truth. What is true is that they have to figure out how to make an attack that fits three directions and also has telegraphing gestures so it can be used in a game setting. The moment I realized that, I had to step back and admit that I was being pissy for no reason. At the end of the day, no matter if the animations are similar to another, I just want to have the character itself feel good using them.

    When I saw them on stream I assumed bp’s was reused from valk and the way he held his shield annoyed me but after using it for a day the animation grew on me. I haven’t played valk in over 300 reps so I haven’t seen the dodge attack from that pov in a while. But now imo black prior’s dodge attack feels good

    I had my own gripes about the new dodge attacks but now I think they're actually ok in terms of animation. The only one I still think looks funny is WL but it's only due to when he dodges his shield isn't raised in the direction first and Cent though they could possibly make it so he can bash from dodge like Warden and Warmonger too.

    look.....I wanted the centurions to have a doge bash so i got disappointed at first .. But if you think about the cent now can chain a punch or charge it after that's couldn't be possible if they did give him a doge bash i mean a bash after a bash ? 😅

    I feel HL probably benefits the most from his new dodge attack, though they're a welcome tool for everyone. HL's is just the least punishing, as well as giving him some actual mobility in a team fight and an extra way to flow into Offensive, which he's needed for quite some time. He's still HL, so not exactly amazing in 1s, but his dodge attack could very well make him more of a menace in 4s now that you can't just bash spam Defensive for free anymore
    BP also seems to have gained a lot, but mostly because they've made an already safe character a touch safer. Or, at least, easier to be safe with. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, but it bears mentioning

If ypu think he's had it all along, that's because his new dodge attack's animation is the same one that celtic curse has which is a softfeint to the side from his dodge forward heavy. Also, in offensive stance he was always able to do a bash kick from neutral, forward dodge and side dodge.

    I don’t mind the dodge animations just wish there was a bit more depth then copy and paste values and properties. As you said animation wise WL looks like he should have superior block on his, or make BPs crushing counter if timed right, have cents be Undodgeable instead of enhanced, ect.

    I dont think a lot of people understand that there only so many ways to use a sword and fight with a sword. I could care less if they reuse animations, as long as they look good and fluid with the character.

    I’m enjoying most of the changes especially having fun with the fast guardbreak given to kensei. Didn’t they improve Centurions punch tracking? That’s the only thing I’m having trouble noticing like earlier it was dodged by a forward dodge heavy from Highlander that he soft feinted and it avoided the level 2 and 3 punch when he dodged at basically 2

    Why are the inputs set at such a weird static timing? Literally if you could input the dodge attack 200-500ms into the dodge then you can reliably punish bashes both on read and reaction. And still be able to utilize i frames from the dodge itself before the dodge attack input

    I agree with your suggested changes to the dodge attacks but I think that warlord’s should only apply when the thrust comes out (basically so that it helps him in teamfights or against characters with dodge cancels, think Tiandi rather than valk)

    Seeing the dodge attacks at first glance, the animations will always be what I see first. Yeah I'm going to try and compare it to other heroes but that's just because it's naturally going to be either similar or identical. (In this instance, mocapped and inspired by other heroes)
    Then when I get my hands on it, that's when I'll delve into the nitty gritty of what it can and can't do (in this case, all 5 of their attacks need to be either 200 into 600ms or 300 into 533ms to _actually_ punish a bash, because it's lacking enough i-frames to be able to do it reliably in the first place at their current timings).

    Im happy with the dodge attacks they for the most part look good and fit the characters. I’m really enjoying using warlords the most. It looks smooth. Also freeze I was wondering if you can give me the load out you have for jorm. It looks great

    Bafore the video starts I wanna say this. I've said it before, but I really want dodge attacks to have a delayable input window. As good as some of these dodge attacks are due to their chain properties, I hate missing the window to input said dodge attack. I know they want these to be bash punishes but I'd rather have more comfort over this. Even if it's a small window, lets say 300-400ms. Many heroes are getting dodge attack spam solutions now built into their kit. Look at all the new hyper armour and dodge cancels we are getting. Dodge attack spam is annoying, but I think some may agree that missing a small input window to punish something is even more annoying. I'm fine with the jank of these new dodge attacks sinnce they can be fixed later on and seem to work as intended. Though BP's flicks the camera, so that may have to be fixed sooner rather than later.

    Yeah even though Ubisoft took the easy path with dodge attacks I still like these heroes much better now. Some of them were actually my favorite to play highlander and jorm, and now that both have a proper dodge attack (albeit not the best) it's no longer self-torture anymore by picking Jorm. As a sort of bonus, people who play the lightlander are no longer forced to learn a bit more than light, light chain to know how to dodge an attack as hl. Though I probably still prefer his offensive dodges. A heavy follow-up can be beaten by a kick

    BP dodge light is one of the safest dodge attacks, due to it's recovery can be cancelled into Bulwark.
    While that is great, I kinda want them to execute kinda Zhanhu's side dodge lights. Plus, WL and BP dodge attacks could use superior block during start-up.

    Yes! I knew I wasn't crazy thinking something was off with Nobushi's dodge attack before now. I'm normally the sort of player whose muscle memory tries dodge attacks without any input from the brain, but I couldn't bring myself to use Nobushi's at all after the first couple of matches trying it. The risks never seemed to be worth the rewards, and now I know why.
    As for the new ones, I'm pretty happy with how the animations look for the most of them, but Cent and Jorm's look off to me in comparison to how good Warlord and BPs look (Highlander's also looks good, but doesn't count because he already had a sort-of-dodge-attack that looks pretty similar). I think Jorm's would have looked better if it was more of a swipe like his light finishers, maybe something diagonal from the top so that it can look sensible for a side attack while still avoiding looking like it should have a bigger hitbox.
    As for Cent, no ideas whatsoever. Admittedly, I jumped right on the reused animation bandwagon when it first came about concerning him, because I really, really wanted this animation to be a placeholder to be remedied in a later update. I just plain don't like it, and I can't even explain why. Maybe it's the fast swipe, strong stab thing he had going on before that got entrenched in my brain, maybe it's the footwork or the upper body movement; but if this wasn't making do with what's available and fully new content, then it's unlikely to change any time soon. But I'm used to the devs having different aesthetic sensibilities concerning Cent in small ways that slightly annoy me. I've been asking Santa to make Cent use his Lion's Pounce animation for his drop attacks since 2018 and a new blinged out lorica segmentata for about half as long at this point.

    if you get hit stun by a heavy before the unblokable, will you get gb out of your dodge attack?

    1) The first with recycled animations was warmonger, and as shown in the zhanhu documentary, they start the motion-capure process at least 8-9 months before the actual release of the Hero, so if they wanted her to have unique animations, they could've done so without COVID restrictions, also she had at launch original animations for executions and emotes, so the lockdowns excuse doesn't hold. They released her with recycled assets on their own accord.
    2) Please let's just drop this bullshit argument that its fine to reuse animations over and over because there's only a few ways to animate thrust a slash attacks. Just check a few HEMA sparring videos with different weapons to see how many and different ways there are to perform the same type of attack.
    3) As you said yourself in earlier videos, one of the main reasons that keeps people playing the game is aethetic and fashion, therefore having to watch over and over the same set of animations stitched on every new hero/rework is a big detriment for many players just likes myself. So please stop treating like manbabies without motivations those who still to this remark how bad the recycling of assets has gotten in the game.
