Hi Amanda,
I was born in raised in Colorado and there are lots of fun things to do. In Denver the Denver Art Museum and the Denver Botanic Gardens are both beautiful. I recommend going into Boulder, if you can, and checking out the beautiful Dushanbe Tea House. If you want a great view, go to Chataqua Park where you'll get a stunning view of the Flatirons (an iconic mountain structure). You *can* hike in the area but I really don't recommend it if you haven't ever experienced the altitude change (you start at over 5k above sea level). Something also to know is that the airport is a good hour from anything and prepare to drink SO much water for the dryness and altitude. If you have a longer trip in the future, I recommend a mountain trip to one of the mountain towns like Breckenridge or Aspen. Have so much fun!

I've lived in Colorado my whole life and my favorite place in the state is Estes Park which is an hour and a half outside of Denver and where Rocky Mountain National Park is I highly recommend going there.

How do you keep the insects away on your front porch during pumpkin season? I want to do it, but I don't want a family of insects living inside the pumpkins.
I don’t dry my face after I wash it anymore. I don’t want to create waste and also don’t want to use a cloth towel on it.

There's so many pumpkins that farmers have sales at the end of the season.$10 for as many pumpkins you can shove in your car. It's not a waste they get used, and then when their time is up, they biodegrade. Many pumpkins are specifically grown for this time of year. For decorating.

First of all I want to confess that your content is so sweet and calm it gives a relaxing feeling. Just I didn’t like using pumpkins as a decoration at the door where you step in, walk in and out of your home. As muslims we are commanded to respect and value (blessings we have) that includes foods for sure and there are so many people suffer from poverty as well. Hope you take my humble opinion in a good way. Thank you
Not all pumpkins are used for food. Many pumpkins are literally grown to be decoration. It's not a waste.
