Yeah I saw a radio interview about it... But apparently it was already a well established song recorded by Mark Wills and Jo O’Meara (S Club 7) before Rascal Flatts ever released it

roter13 oops... sorry that is incorrect. It was actually Baby One More Time that was written for Backstreet Boys. They shared the same label, management, and then producers and writers. A lot of their (Britney's and BSB's) songs are written and produced by Max Martin. And it still confuses me to this day what the difference is between Baby One More Time and Oops...I Did It Again..
I know that TLC was offered "Baby Hit me One more Time." No idea BSB also was up for getting that song
