Let's appreciate the art being created please guys, the book is just an inspiration. The series is inspired by the book, it's not the book. Hence, they said so , they could have just did it without paying homage. Hence the series is call the "the wife" not hlomu, or whatever the original name was. The bigger picture is that the storyline must continue beyond the book that cannot happen if everything is based on the book cause the book ends. Can we be opened minded please. And stop ruining everything for everybody else. Show max you doing a good job.

I watched the 1st episode of "the wife" I was like whaaaaarrrt why is hlomu driving a car😭 and iphi imoto yezimanga ( corolla sprinter) nothing made sense. A part of me had to accept ukuthi this is not a love story njengakwi ncwadi but rather impi Yama taxi that was the only way engiyibuka ngayo le series buka I series ungazami ukuhlanganisa a book + series you will be disappointed. Otherwise great casting + good series nothing to do with abathandi Baka hlomu the book series.
