Very useful information, I’m an Amateur Radio Operator (HAM), was looking for SSB as well too
They have the model D808 that I also received and that one has also SSB.. LSB and USB and nice filters. You can also listen to CW as well with a little adjustments. 73, YO6DXE
@@dxexplorer I do have the Sihuadon D-808 from the sibling company of XHDATA, I have to try the HF yet, good features in that radio but audio is OK typically. Another one I have is XHDATA D-109 good to hear, this weather looks an upgrade of D-109 and I was about to get this one, but weather band is not there in India. Thanks ☺️ 73s, VU3PZJ
@automotriztechnica On the D-808 the sound is not that amazing as the one presented here in the video. This one is just fantastic. Ohh do not worry... we do not have weather channels here in Romania either. But as grandpa used to say, if I want to know how is the wearher... I go out and look at the sky... and I know 😁😅.

I found a shortcut by accident to switch between the 9/10 khz setting quickly. Press and hold volume minus when the radio is off.

In real emergencies short wave/HF a lot of information will be found on amateur bands. Most radio amateurs who use voice are using the Single Sideband (SSB) mode. Others will be using CW/Morse Code. Look for receivers that are equipped for at least one of those modes along with appropriate amateur bands.
True... but those I already have since I am an amateur radio operator. So is nice to have something for the "broadcast bands". Technically and traditionally some of those should still broadcast... or at least some with like... emergency messages. I do hope I will not need this radio for that though 😅😅. I really prefer it for entertaining purposes 😅. 73, YO6DXE.

@@dxexplorer к стати, лично по моему мнению, на каналах подобных вашему, такие обзоры приемников полезны но должны заканчиваться полной разборкой и обзором его схемотехники)))))))

Ха-ха-ха... я так делал, когда был маленьким. Теперь, когда я стал старше и увидел, как сложно заставить их работать правильно... если всё получится... Я говорю любопытству, чтобы оно позаботилось о себе, потому что я не собираюсь его разбирать 😅😅 😅

Im sorry guy but that review was awful. When you are giving a product to review you dont believe or think it does this or that. I want to know what the product is capable of doing. You really should have taken the time to familiarize yourself with the radio first, not guess.
I am also sorry to say that is so easy to talk... but not so easy to do it. I think people do not realize that making a video takes time... and I do not get paid for this. Some videos I must post on a certain date. I do my best to make them as good and useful as possible... but... I cannot be perfect all the time as I also have a life and a job that I must take care of. What I do here on the channel is trying to help as much as I can by sharing whatever I do... or in this case use. That is the reason why most of the time I call them "quick look" or "quick review" not "in depth review" of a product. So that "taking the time" doesn't work most of the time as imagine I only have two free hours in a day to make a video... and edit the video some other time when I have more free time. So the conclusion is that I would also love to have all the time in the world and make the videos way better and way more detailed... but if I do that now, most probably after a month or two I would end up in the street because I did not do any work but made UA-cam videos instead and made no money to pay the bills 😁. 73, YO6DXE.
P.S. I really like this receiver... saying this now after a few months using it 😁.
