Meet Dr. Yasuko Matsubara, Caterpillar Women in STEM 4th Grand Prize Winner

Caterpillar, which has been in business in Japan for 60 years, created the awards in 2018 to support the advancement of women in STEM careers in the Kansai area. The awards were subsequently expanded to include university and high school students interested in STEM. We will continue to work with Hyogo Prefecture, Kobe City, Akashi City, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and Japan Society of Civil Engineers of Kansai branch to contribute to society and communities as a global company rooted in the region. Dr. Yasuko Matsubara, Associate Professor, Osaka University and 4th Caterpillar Women in STEM Grand Prize Winner is researching Real-time analysis technology for time-series big data.
第4回キャタピラーSTEM賞最優秀賞受賞者 松原靖子先生のご紹介
キャタピラージャパン合同会社は日本で事業を始めて６０年、またキャタピラーとなって１０年を記念して、日本のイノベーション力の加速、特に油圧ショベル事業部がデザインセンターと製造施設を構える兵庫県を中心とした関西の発展の一助となることを目指し、地域の女性エンジニアの育成・支援をする「キャタピラーSTEM 賞」を2018年に創設、2019年には、一般部門に加え若手の育成を目的とした学生部門を新たに設立しました。
今後もご後援をいただいている兵庫県、神戸市、明石市、独立行政法人 日本貿易振興機構（JETRO）大阪本部、公益社団法人 土木学会 関西支部とともに、地域に根付いたグローバル企業として、社会・コミュニティーとのさらなる連携に努めてまいります。
