that overlay in the top left is AMAZING! I know it's not insanely precise cause it's done in the post production but it helps tremendously with general orientation on the map, great addition
Absolutely absurd how much work the community puts into this game. If it was just up to the devs, we'd have NO real maps, NO real task guides, and NO bullet damage/pen information. People like Pestily not only make the game fun to watch, but they make it possible to play.
Had a double daily quest for surviving streets and extracting on courtyard and watching this and learning the main street has those rails was super helpful for learning what direction i am

A good way to tell where you are is to look at the east side skybox. It has all the tallest buildings and you can see it from a ton of points on the map
Editor: minimap is incredible, think i'd love the 'vision cone' around the 10:00 mark at all times (or a small line indicating which direction Pest is facing)

Finally learned this scary map for the first time thank to this video and THE MINIMAP. the minimap was for sure the most helpful thing, and combined with Pestilys amazing commentary = just amazing and high quiality video Also. I dont know how you did that minimap Mr. Editor. But if you did all that annoying work by hand, I mean wow. but, you could ask pestily to record his mouse movement and implement it to the minimap view (like the way the dot and the fov is rotating around) so you dont have to make every rotation yourself. :)
loving these guides! got to Tarkov late last wipe and streets was one of the first maps i worked on memorizing. its not that difficult tbh, its very large and lot of backroads, but also a lot of landmarks that you can use for navigation. waiting for the shoreline and lighthouse ones - those should be keepers!

Quite helpful for getting your bearings down! Now I wish I could run this map without it being a stutter fest for the first minute or two of every raid.. even in offline mode! In normal raids that just gets me spawnkilled a lot without a chance to fight back..
Funny, that spot at 8:04 is a spot I always look at when spawning on the opposite end of that road in thr vet clinic, got 3 shooter born and tarkov shooter part 4 kills doing that
Need a loot guide for this but would prob be about 3 hours long lol. You're talking about gold spawns for buildings that i've just ignored before, need the specifics!
beginer guide is 30 mins long! good thing i didnt just start streets without this video i seen friends not find the xtract and get killed instantly spawn kills. idk if this will help with spawn killing but now on interchange we wait a whole min ebfore running in. we can hear ppl getting into the funnel and dying lol than we go lol usually cath ppl leaving mall while we barely goin in lol
Streets needs an insane amount of optimization. I go from 130 fps on labs/factory/customs to 30 fps on streets. It is insane to drop 100 fps just because of the map.

It's not editing, it's a program you can setup that tracks your location on map, less of where you're looking and more of your position on the map.

Excellent idea to have your red dot on the map also include the direction you're facing. Very helpful.

Timestamps for each extract would be very helpful. And maybe also for the major buildings like Lexos and Chek 15.

I lowered the resolution and fps in youtube to 720p 30fps to make it more accurate to what my experience is going to be like when I get on streets

Streets is still going to open up a lot more I think, the map on the wiki shows how much room is left that could be filled out.
The building next to the one with the skybridge key has a ledx spawn on the couch near the dead scav. The only ledx I’ve found this wipe lol

I use a key tool and a docs case to hold all my streets key. It's nuts but so profitable. Concordia is underrated. Love that loot run.

@coreymac5578 what's your average framerate, cuz I've known people that find 30 fps playable. For fps games anything below 80 I can't take it.
