The thing Caro and other junk journos have been saying is how Simmo didn't "play the kids" new interim coach in this video says how they'll continue something they've been doing this year, playing the kids...
Nope...he's shown that he's a follower, lazy and to rely on other coaches for his coaching style. He took the creed at Port Adelaide which basically means "don't be lazy or you're out and clubs exist to win premierships"

Can talk the talk but will all depend if the players play for you and the tactical changes made in the way they play. Would luv to hear what adjustments will be made in tactics because Simmo was stuck in 2018. Game is more free flowing now. Slow is death
Worryingly a lot of these new coaches sound just like managers in industry with all the” buzz words”. He kept saying “our identity” what exactly is our identity ? What does it entail ? How about on of these reporters ask that instead of “are you gonna make any changes?”
Don't follow Simmo's coaching .. .that got him sacked. Be your own coach and be ruthless. Go take the job....it's yours if you want it otherwise you're not going to move forward in your "journey"
Harry Edwards is in the team.. 😮 ...another calamity in the team alongside Bailey.. club is doomed.. Before too long..the board and loud mouths will be regretting sacking Simmo..So disappointed in my club..😢
Loved that Pyke didn't knock back the suggestion at the press conference, totally unrealistic, though. She wins a few premierships as a coach, someone will come knocking for a men's coaching position eventually.
A hint for Jarrard. Having a mouthful of cliche's does not make a good coach. Also remember Don Pyke's coaching of the Adelaide Crows. Doug Ringholt Yarrawonga Victoria
Simmo didn't do bad. He got to a gf in his 2nd year and won a gf on his 5th. Yes he has gotten slightly worse but it's not just him it's also the players not putting effort
I don't think you know what a senior coaches day to day role is. Because if you did you would apportion a lot less blame for the WCE predicament at Simmos feet, and a heavy amount of blame at the board's feet.

Wins should be irrelevant tbh. We arent chasing wins, we are chasing improvement
