also I found if you keep telling mudtooth to tell you stories and if you nudge him awake everytime he falls asleep doing this multiple times until you get a ring called the gunslinger ring, it may be tied to your primary class as I was gunslinger at the time. I tried to switch my primary class and do it again but I was not given another ring. I have not tried to re roll my adventure mode as a different class and talk to him there may be a ring for every class that he gives you.
Actually mudtooth gives us the gunslinger class and the ring. As you were already a Gunslinger he only gave you the ring, and it only happens after some point in the campaign.
yep yep yep, as you progress through the story, Mudtooth gains more stories to tell. By the time you reach Root Earth, he will have all the stories required to unlock Gunslinger and I believe the Gunslinger amulet as well. It's in my Gunslinger video but can't remember for sure off the top of my head.
The Chicago Typewriter is found alongside the Leto MK2 armor after going through a hidden portal in the labyrinth. The MP is found after you open the chest in Ward13 and use the key found from that to open a door past the docks.

I opened the door after doing the labyrinth, but got the typewriter instead of the mp60. Do I need to reroll for the mp or is it lost to me now?

How do you get the weapon on the other side of the glass where you find MP60-R?
You can enter there from the labrynth, look up labyrinth secrets for leto armor
