Wunderschöne Interpretation dieser beiden spätklassischen und fein komponierten Trios im veränderlichen Tempo mit klarem Klang des historischen Klaviers, bezaubendem Ton der Klarinette und mildem Ton des Naturhorns. Die intime und perfekt entsprechende Miteinanderwirkung zwischen den drei Virtuosen ist wahrlich ergreifend. Echt wervolle Aufnahme!

Same here, but fortepianos are close enough that I no longer object to them.

The period piano is called that because it is inadequate, period. Found in grandma's attic. Not up to snuff. Poor Beethoven--struggled all his life to get more powerful instruments, only to have his musical heirs revert to this. A degree in musicology is no substitute for a functional pair of ears.

The clarinete instead a violin produces a very original mix of sounds which I honestly prefer than conventional trios.

One of the less significant works by Beethoven. The trio Stadler k 498 by Mozart is far superior. I thank you because for appreciating the masterworxs we must listen to the minor Beethoven
