1: the odds of pulling good cards this year seem astronomically low 2: the amount of offline grinding you have to do this year. 3: exit velos on good swings seem to have been brought down a lot this year.
I feel like those old duck on a pond or big dog or other "fun packs" should be brought back to contain a lot of mid-tier diamond legend cards of players we don't have in the game. I would love to see maybe a 97 overall Prime Series Tim Lincecum card or a 92 all-star series Pedro Guerrero card, to name a few. Bring back 99 (or 98) overall Orel Hershiser. His cards were always my favourite pitcher cards. To name a few more position player legends, where did Ted Williams, Ty Cobb, Rogers Hornsby, and Kirk Gibson go? In addition to bringing back cards that used to be in the game, I want to see a lot more new legend cards, no matter how good they are.
I thought maybe I'd get lucky so I bought the chase pack bundle right at 3pm when the season dropped... I didn't pull a single diamond in the standard packs, and got a guy who went for 5000 stubs in my chase pack 😐
As a casual player, there's fun in grinding for free players like Belli but they need to have more opportunities for that. You kinda have to wait for Finest series to come out to really have fun because its really hard to even buy the cards you want from the marketplace

I think they made it SO SCUMMY this year because they have to pay so much for Sosa, McGuire and Jeter's rights and any other players' rights in the future. They put the best players in packs because ranked, events and BR have programs. Can't let the scrubs have those cards. Oh you got the special card? IT'S NO SELL BECAUSE WE CANT HAVE EVERY AFFORD THE 700K STUB ELLY CARD THAT EVERYONE LOVES AND WANTS! 1st year, I was good enough to grind BR Ranked and Events for the reward cards and man they just aren't even worth it. I grinded out the BR for Rob Dibble and I rarely use him. I have the WS pack with Buxton Leiter and Devers and I won't even open it because I'll just regret whoever I take. I would sell the card to try the other, but NOPE, I CAN'T DO THAT AND HAVE FUN. GIVE US MONEY AND WE GIVE YOU STUBS FOR THAT! 21 compared to 23 content model is such whiplash I may have to sue for personal injuries. 21 I had every collection boss and Griffey and had fun doing so. This year? Just mindless grinding for the same thing over and over and over and over again. AND the cards they give us are being reused and are worse versions of cards we already had. Intentionally making them worse just so you'll spend stubs on the better version. The retirement program was the worst offender because unless you spend 40k stubs like 4 times you couldn't complete the program until those packs just dropped again a few days ago. You had to PAY to complete a FREE PROGRAM! WTF? Anti consumer is EXACTLY what this game has become. BuT yOu CaN jUsT fLiP fOr StUbS iTs So EaSy?!?!?!?! I shouldn't have to play the market just to be able to afford a shortstop that becomes unusable after a few months because of the sets and then usable again in december....
I love that it takes Fuzzy until September to figure out the quick-rip on Show packs 🤣 I've given up on all of the collection rewards. I still have 7 MLB teams to complete and I don't think you got any of the players I still need from these packs. Remember last year you used to be able to pull more than just Live Series cards from the random packs. It would be nice if you could get some cards that were sellable AND worth more than a few stubs. They also need a cheap rewind pack for each of the sets that are cycling out so that you can go back and spend 1k on a chance to get some older cards to make collecting set rewards easier. I've also given up on playing online, so now I can't earn half the cards from events, BR, ranked, etc. It's just not fun being forced to play against guys ranked 200 points higher than you or deal with the kids who quit as soon as you take them deep. The game is just not as fun any more.
Chase pack should come with fun gold and silver cards like BR program. (Can also be Captain make silver and gold card fun like the set 2 gold captains) With reward of super chase pack giving you better odds getting a the chase pack.

What I think they have to do is make a new base set packs the same time they make new chase packs have set 1,2,3,4 Base packs. Set 1 will be normal live series diamonds, Set 2 and after have new and unique diamonds (sort of like the kaiju take over packs) but only those cards in the pack. Then crate a collection with each new set of base packs. This will give more of an accentive to packs

I packed trout and ohtani from about 10-15 cp this season,got lucky with trout, and yes cp pack odds arent great,, but coming from 2k and mt with those odds, then cp odds are decent
Wish more modes like Ranked Season should be set only and Ultimate season that’s all set card team can be played in. As casual I had invest in cards made million stubs just be able make stub to buy Elly during the crash, meanwhile Trout just come out and I know I won’t get him until he’s under 500k. Crazy grinding for stubs worst this year then any other year.
I know it takes time and effort, but I make all my stubs without spending a dime. I save up the stubs to buy a 50 pack + chase pack set. Then after you have ripped them all open, list EVERYTHING, I mean everything from them in the market. Don’t quick sell them, only list everything in market. On average I come back with 100-110k stubs for each 50 pack + chase pack set I buy. That not only fairly quickly builds up your stubs, but it also gives you many opportunities to open chase packs and get those rare cards. It’s worked very well for me, very consistently.
I usually don't open packs cause I don't play a lot and don't have a lot of stubs but when I bought a fifty bundle I somehow pulled three and one of them was a 90+
I have opened 47 chase packs this year and haven't pulled anything worth over 15k stubs, and I have spent at least 350,000 stubs on chase packs. I understand the point of putting the best cards in chase packs, but the fact that it's only actually available to content creators is insane, and at this point this game is pay to win. The only way to get the featured chase pack players is by spending 300 dollars on stubs and just buying the cards in the marketplace, which wouldn't bother me that much but I am an 8th grader who just plays the game because I enjoy it. I am not going to spend money a video game just to have the best team, and it's annoying that's the only way to get a good team. I am close to giving up on this game, and they need to fix something and make the good cards attainable for everybody that is willing to grind for them. you don't even have to play this game that often to have the best team and it bother me because I play for 3-4 hours everyday and never get rewarded for it. Fix your game sds.

I like chase packs what I don’t like is that they put the best card in the game in them and then they make that card 800k stubs. They could at least give us a higher chance of pulling the card in the pack otherwise it’s way to expensive
my biggest complaint is that theres way too much offline grinding and no time to really have fun with the game. Also road to the show needs a rehaul. i enjoy playing those type of modes also but there's no reason for me to play it because there's no storyline really
what rating do you play on? if you say anything below 400 just sell mike trout. you do not need him that early into the game, 900,000 stubs could get you a full 99 team.
I already have a full 99 team. I don’t really care about the stubs I just thought it was funny cuz I never get anything out of packs until recently. I’ve just been buying the small single packs with earned stubs and out of the last 50 or so. I’ve gotten 2-3 chase pack 6. And 1 chase pack 7. Wild

Pack odds need to be 1/15 for regular 1/10 ballin 1/5 chase and choice. Running animation glitch after a dive. Bat sounds. Every week for new 99. Better result for good pci worse for bad result
The chase players are fun to use and they should be easier to get. The odds are ridiculously terrible. I mean they don’t have to make them easy just make the odds a little better. It will make more gamers enjoy using the great cards.
I haven’t even done the live series collection yet. Halfway through season 2 I got bored of grinding all the offline stuff to get good cards and couldn’t pull anything besides low diamonds selling at sell now price
I pulled Elly and deGrom and sold for getting cards for set 1 collections which I just finished recently. I bought 99 Ohtani from Chase Pack and getting 99 Mauer soon. Agree about chase pack idea
Hell, I'd be content with a bunch of low diamonds (85-90 overall) diamond legend cards appearing in packs. If there were enough different new legends, even if they weren't even usable in most cases, packs would be really fun, even the purples would be fun.
Lately I feel like nobody has been pulling diamonds, in koogs46’s moonshot vid he only pulled purples, you also didn’t pull anything, and I was dumb enough to spend Stubs to get multiple chase packs and standards and pulled nothing but purples. Something needs to be fixed.
My complaints would be grinding really feel worthless as most of the time it’s for 97 with bad stats and then you can only use them for 3-4 months before they go. This goes for the same with parallel as it may take 3-4 of regular playing to get a superfracter and then not use them. I still enjoy playing this game but recent updates have made me want to play DD even less and I love that mode. I hope sds listens to us and can improve for mlb24
I usually get pretty solid pack luck but yeah I hate that I can really never get my hands on those nasty 99’s and I’m not paying all those Stubbs for em lol. I love the grind
On the chase pack thing I haven’t pulled one chase pack from show packs all year. I felt like last year I pulled at least 10 throughout the year. Kinda wild how rare they made them
I pulled ohtani. tatis and elly.(within 4 chase packs.) I guess old players show up in New packs. I'm pretty much done with this game so I sold all of them and blew it all on packs.. I did pull 5 chase packs out of a 50 bundle. In the end, I ended up with 20 chase packs. They were all beautiful purples 🎉 oh, 12:55 pretty much sums up this game. In conclusion, I had very good luck with chase packs. They definitely changed the odds for trout because every body would want him. That's my opinion.

On the chase pack thing I haven’t pulled one chase pack from show packs all year. I felt like last year I pulled at least 10 throughout the year. Kinda wild how rare they made them
The grind, it’s just hard to get nice cards and perfect perfect fly outs

Yep opened 300 standers packs today 2 purples that’s it
I pulled ohtani. tatis and elly.(within 4 chase packs.) I guess old players show up in New packs. I'm pretty much done with this game so I sold all of them and blew it all on packs.. I did pull 5 chase packs out of a 50 bundle. In the end, I ended up with 20 chase packs. They were all beautiful purples 🎉 oh, 12:55 pretty much sums up this game. In conclusion, I had very good luck with chase packs. They definitely changed the odds for trout because every body would want him. That's my opinion.
