- I completed the large hard cove fairy journal, and I'd like to show it to you. I enjoyed this journal (much different from the recent cowboy journals!). I hope you will come back to see the smaller fabric covered fairy journals, too!

Diane, you have such a unique way of creating. This Journal has such personality! I love the way you go beyond what is routine ( though always beautiful, fellow crafters) the examples I am referring to are the doiley, the stenciling, the sewn together pages, the colors. So very inspiring. Keep creating, expanding your reitoire- you are truly a gifted creator!

Spraying through the paper doilies leaves such a gorgeous pattern. Bonus in using the doily as an added piece; just as cute.
I'm finding it difficult to get motivated and get my area cleaned up and organized. Feeling the need to just veg out this week.
Oh Diane. This is absolutely beautiful and magical. All the special touches like the stenciled doilies and the rhinestone glitter pockets. You have done the fae proud. I especially love the little dragon, moreso because I watched as you painted that little guy to life. Very well done indeed!

This fairy journal is beautiful. You always make the most beautiful journals. I was wondering where you found your colored vellum.I can never find it. Again you do beautiful work. God bless.
Thank you, Theresa. I actually got that colored vellum many years ago; it was on rolls at Michaels. Martha Stewart (on clearance). But I have seen it in 8 1/2"X11" sheets in the craft stores where they sell individual sheets of paper. There are usually some specialty papers, like acetate, vellum, etc.
I like the pages that you used sprays on thru doilies. I think you have moved? If so, hope you are enjoying your new home.
Yes, I have moved, and am still trying to settle into my new craft space. I'm getting there!
I have the same book and have started putting on the ephemera in it. I didn't cover it either.
