I love how they make each and everyone of these Vocaloids unique and indiferent. That even though they're a program,they have looks and somewhat personalities that you can attacth to and consider them real and true.

Yeh, her voice sounds different cause this is more of a cute song. Like another user stated, they changed some parameter of her voice to show she can expand her tone. Just like kpop singers you know, they sing some cute songs with their soft voice. Then when you see them sing/cover powerful songs they sound so deep.

Vocaloid is like electric piano and dictionary combine. The sound data was provided by humans and the software can mess around with the tone and pitch to suit the music they are singing. Anyone can buy the vocaloid software and create their own music like they would with a piano.

The signal processing part was developed by the joint research project led by Kenmochi Hideki at the Pompeu Fabra university in Spain in 2000, and original was not intended to an enough business project it. It has developed software to commodity "Vocaloid" being supported to Yamaha Corp.. It writes in Wikipedia.
@Aunpaidintern The problem with inventing vocaloids with languages like Spanish is that pronunciation is very different from a phonetic language like Korean, Japanese is very easy to do also as Ka always sounds like Ka, the vowels have no change in sound as do in the korean language when read from script. There is simply too much to program for a syllable heavy and difficult language like Spanish as of now.

Yes, because that's completely related to preferring Vocaloid over popular American artists. SeeU is a favorite of mine. By the way, Some of the original Vocaloids are English singers.
SeeU is definately the new vocaloid I'm most excited for, even though I don't care for K-pop. Why? 1) Her character design is fantastic and original and 2) Who says whe'll be used only for K-pop? That's what I love about vocaloid. Once she's in the hands of the people, anything's possible.

@TheCottondream its harder to make her sound nice because korean phonetics are closer to english than japanese, which is a pain to do in these voice emulators.

@VZero25 I= Fantasy had Kim Dahi sing with SeeU. Compare this song with Ring's song then compare Ring's song with I= Fantasy...I think "Run" sounds true to the Vocaloid 3 system; I= Fantasy was just to get people interested. Either that, or like some people said, Run's purpose was to get a change of feeling from I= Fantasy. Although, I do agree with hoping that Vocaloid gets more realistic.
Despite that 'UltimateCruelFightOfDoom' thingy about my 'of-gosh-so-mean' opinion about Miku I would like to say that I like how SeeU says 'Jumping HIGH!' And song is pretty catchy
But Vocaloid really got started when Miku came out, with her design and voice it led to the "sound of the future" which is what her name means. Then they just continued on there. Bruon and Clara were I think made my Japan too, though I am not sure, and then they also came out with more vocaloids in english and japanese, except for SeeU which was created by a korean company. Though she IS NOT a copycat because they wanted it and allowed it.

Also i found some SeeU's on ebay you could check amazon and other places but the prices could be up by a lot because of her rarity now

@SuperTuskafka Ahhh.....with Vocaloid 3(which was released on da 21st), hearing how much more natural she can sound (when done right) could make you rescind that comment. That goes for all the vocaloids voice banks also, God I can't wait till songs on the new software are being pumped out on Nico Nico.
Yes, because that's completely related to preferring Vocaloid over popular American artists. SeeU is a favorite of mine. By the way, Some of the original Vocaloids are English singers.
SeeU is definately the new vocaloid I'm most excited for, even though I don't care for K-pop. Why? 1) Her character design is fantastic and original and 2) Who says whe'll be used only for K-pop? That's what I love about vocaloid. Once she's in the hands of the people, anything's possible.

@Aunpaidintern the spanish vocaloids have been revealed. They are bruno and clara. They do have demos and are very good. Remind me of leon and lola. You should look them up. And I agree with you. I hate it when people get like that.

@TheCottondream its harder to make her sound nice because korean phonetics are closer to english than japanese, which is a pain to do in these voice emulators.

@Hetachan Vocaloid isn't from korea, it is still from japan, but now it is avalible in more languages: Japonese and English already have they added Chinese, Korean and Spanish ^^

@xxwingedxx That isn't the issue, due to the characteristics of spanish, the vowels are read differently as theya re in english.pronounce them phonetically the same. You personally might find them easier to pronounce but there is too much variation compared to: かこいい ＝ Kakoii. The ka is always said one was, as is 한 han is always read as Han.

Apple and the 'a' in 'are'. You do not

@FantasyLinh That's because she's singing at a higher pitch than in fantasy.
@VZero25 I= Fantasy had Kim Dahi sing with SeeU. Compare this song with Ring's song then compare Ring's song with I= Fantasy...I think "Run" sounds true to the Vocaloid 3 system; I= Fantasy was just to get people interested. Either that, or like some people said, Run's purpose was to get a change of feeling from I= Fantasy. Although, I do agree with hoping that Vocaloid gets more realistic.
Music are for everyone people, and a item of technology for music can be started by a country but its not restricted to a country only.
Despite that 'UltimateCruelFightOfDoom' thingy about my 'of-gosh-so-mean' opinion about Miku I would like to say that I like how SeeU says 'Jumping HIGH!'
And song is pretty catchy
But Vocaloid really got started when Miku came out, with her design and voice it led to the "sound of the future" which is what her name means. Then they just continued on there. Bruon and Clara were I think made my Japan too, though I am not sure, and then they also came out with more vocaloids in english and japanese, except for SeeU which was created by a korean company. Though she IS NOT a copycat because they wanted it and allowed it.

@Aunpaidintern yes they have auto-tuned SeeU and have Kim Tahi sing in the background but who cares about that song leak it's not even an official demo, and and they've already made the full version of i=fantasy which is a lot better than the 1st..(i think :3)
