As one of "These Goons" I'd like to thank Key on his instinctive pressing of the record button so we didn't lose this episode, though I do worry that this screen swapping is indeed how Key views the game from his end which I find rather disturbing.
I was wondering that but in old episodes he's pointed to parts of the screen when arguing challenges... so maybe it was because he used his Ipad as he was away.
The guys are like a modern day version of "Tom and Jerry", they sneak in decent classical music to our lives as we watch them abusing each other during weekly shenanigans. I dont mind that.
As entertaining as it was to watch, looks like they ditched the bad blood and ugly side of NMJ of last week. Some admirable sportsmanlike conduct has restored some dignity to a sport that was starting to come into disrepute. 👏👏👏👏👏
What joy. This one has it all. Tears are literally running down my face. Though the tears may be more to do with the two emergency operations and strong painkillers I’m on following last week’s ill fated hospital escape after watching the previous NMJs. I don’t wish to go into too many details. Suffice to say my own ‘below the line’ may never be the same again. I trust I can count on the community’s support and prayers.
I think we should all just start bullying people with bad internet connection like your boys here. I think we’ve all been too kind in this jizzhound digital world and it’s time to crack the word “lagmouth” out a little more often.
i for one loved the new screen distribution, it was so funny hearing watto's comments in the background or coming back to alex suddenly having a coin on his eye
Horne's gotten a lot more erratic in the last few games, with his connection issues this week, and his heel turn last. This set, when you think about it, seems to be getting to him (and that's without exception).
Someone should send him an NWO shirt, get a picture of him in it and some black jeans (shoes not visible) and get it to the top of the Google search results for "wearing all black". Hollywood Alex Horne confirmed.
I like the confidence look on Horne here. He's been hiding his intellect behind too much kindness and I'm not sure if Watkey is ready for the imaginary shoe to drop.
As a below-the-liner from the first episode, this is the funniest episode I’ve seen in a while. I am here for Tim taking the piss out of Horne all day 😂😂😂
Technojizz (edit - Lianne Coop) could have stayed if he argued snowy wasn't born in an european union country because it wasn't a member of the EU at the time due to it's lack of existence. Bish bash bosh, back to you boys above the line.
Then if that's the case as watto's lawyers below the line he deserved the category nullified under rule 34 of the no more jockeys contract. #thejobglovesdidntfit
How exactly does this move help Technojizz get people below the line to like him, though? He made a safe play and earned a lot of hand claps down here because of it. I don't mind it, actually.
I immediately thought of this but google only seems to have a couple of pictures of him actually wearing the blazer so it might fall foul of whatever is deemed a 'fair amount' of pictures
Goons?! I’m hurt and offended. Why not “fucking goons”? Great game boys and a great save of the show by Key. Thank god Watto didn’t have to press record with that weird, bent finger ❤️⭐️
Proper good one this week - good walk from Watto, unexpected silliness from the Buckinghamshire broadband, though the screen switching isn't ideal.... great game though.
Well, when you think about it, a return to some semblance of normality after last week's chaos! Pretty poor from Watson, then Key to fall on their own categories! Horne seemed to be all over the shop with his Techno Jizzery, but seemed to have a victory pretty much handed to him! Ah well, fun as always! Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed last weeks live episode, stayed until the end as I'm sure most did! Got through 2 bottles of red and a large rum, didn't feel great the next day, but lots of fun all the same! Hope you can do it again! Go Well!
🧐🤔 Played this back in uni. We called it Bartok and it always began: "Bartok. No more composers". We shamelessly honed rule lawyering to an art - channeling that I say Snowy debuted in 1929 .. before the EU .. is being from a state that becomes a member state of the EU 6 decades later the same as being from a member state of the EU
Confusing start with the anticlockwise rotation, so the hard jump cuts worked for me. Can we resume normal clockwise formatting next time? Edit: when you think about it I meant the opposite to what I typed.
Yeah I didn’t mind that actually. Key in all Black, Watto walking without argument 👏👏 and a bit of TechnoJizz. Even my favourite game music in the background with Serenade for Strings - the movement with about 5 endings but I still like it. Good Game all, good game
All the Tintin books at school were in French, so to get them in English I had to buy them on holiday in France. That's never struck me as odd until now.
I LOVE these guys to pieces!! Each of them is witty, intelligent and have a good heart ❤️ From Taskmaster to 8 Out of 10 Cats and of course The HORNE Section 🤗❣️❣️❣️
This is like the cigarette pack flip drinking game, where you can't do more then a few games in a row before you start mixing up the rules from one game to the next.
can't believe we were denied of seeing screen names such as Technojizz and old mumma flyboy up until now
mark not understanding how lighting works has been my favourite continuous thread throughout this set
Key: "And they told you to place it off to the side and a little to the back, did they..." 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
“It’s not often you see someone lighting a room by, to be fair, just opening another room” is one of my favourite pieces of business in NMJ history.
As one of "These Goons" I'd like to thank Key on his instinctive pressing of the record button so we didn't lose this episode, though I do worry that this screen swapping is indeed how Key views the game from his end which I find rather disturbing.
thank god for old mumma flyboy
Is it any wonder he's so constantly discombobulated
I was wondering that but in old episodes he's pointed to parts of the screen when arguing challenges... so maybe it was because he used his Ipad as he was away.
@@akp0583 Well well well, look at old detective flyboy over here
@@essentialatom I've never had a nickname before....
Tim, Mark, and Alex shall now forever be known as old mumma flyboy, ,Technojizz, and Alex Horne's iPhone.
Alex: "Which one's better?"
Tim: "Well, Watto for me." 😂
I'm rewatching. Liked this comment because it's one of the great nmj moments but I had already liked it first time round.
So good.
Always ready for the Watto "... Oh yeah-" *mimics what weird thing Key/Horne is doing, as if they had all agreed to do it and he just now remembered*.
Yeah it's much funnier when you explain it.
Technojizz and Old Mumma Flyboy?
I don't mind it actually.
Might be my favorite part of this... especially as contrast to Alex Horne's iPhone
6:29 - Everyone below the line holds their finger up for comparison
Mark's story about his son was pure gold!
His son is a solid gold legend!
Just watching it back, really was a great walk from Watto.🚶🏻
noble
Could you argue that Snowy was born pre-EU or was it born in a country that is presently an EU member state?
Never thought I’d see you on this side of the line, fair play
@@benedictarblaster They established it's only about whether the country is currently EU.
Simultaneously above and below the line. Emphatic.
I don’t mind the hot priest look on Tim.
The guys are like a modern day version of "Tom and Jerry", they sneak in decent classical music to our lives as we watch them abusing each other during weekly shenanigans. I dont mind that.
Best episode yet ... the "no more Tintin's dog" category misunderstanding was priceless.
"name another" 🤣
When you think about it, Key was the weirdest person he's been in a car with.
I’ve been in a car with Tim Key. Proof I’m not weird?
Just proof you weren't the weirdest one in the car at the time mate.
@@TheHomestarX I don’t mind it.
When you think about it, the people below the line would probably have liked to have seen Key's shoes.
👏👏👏👏
I'm just enjoying the tone difference between 'old mumma flyboy', 'Technojizz' and 'Alex Horne's iPhone'.
Someone called ‘old mumma flyboy’ isn’t going to secure a commission from Avalon for a hit comedy show! 😂
I'm more than happy to give Watson the clap this week 👏👏
i think we should avoid giving anybody the clap at the moment, the NHS is stretched as it is
@@tomhodgson3502 🤣😂👏👏 excellent!
I was going to buy Mark's book but i'm waiting for him to write the next copy
The fact that he writes out EACH copy.... (admirably fastidious ! )
@@VideoNozoki I'm slightly arrogant that his 3rd copy wouldn't be for a family member, Key or Horne
@@VideoNozoki he types out each copy on his typewriter!
@@VideoNozoki fiddly!
I’ve got a copy but he must have run out of grey ink because he coloured mine in orange....
Alex being so impressed by Tim thinking to record is brilliant. 😂
Tintin’s dog. “Name another” :)
Tim with Big Host Energy the moment he takes the reigns XD
See Horne, that's an honourable walk. Fair play Watto 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
Well yea, the dog was from the EU, case closed. No need to see the dog's shoes. Fair play to Watto, unfair comparison to last week's beakin'.
Mark continuing to use his microphone long after the joke was over. I do not mind that.
And then discarding it once out. Excellent
TechnoJizz, Old Mumm Flyboy, and Alex Horne's iPhone sums the three up perfectly
As entertaining as it was to watch, looks like they ditched the bad blood and ugly side of NMJ of last week. Some admirable sportsmanlike conduct has restored some dignity to a sport that was starting to come into disrepute. 👏👏👏👏👏
That is because it wasn't Horne who was called out (and refused to leave) this week.
@@VideoNozoki Horne, if you think about, is famously the stubborn and irrationally wacky one of the group...
@@andobise : Until recently I thought that was Key, but I am beginning to change that opinion.
Its like when there is a fight in football and the commentators say "no one wants to see that" when really everyone does ;).
It really isn't. I enjoy a physical game of football (prefer it). Last time was more like parents bickering; not fun to watch at all, just upsetting.
Horne blowing the candle out with his eyes 🤣🤣🤣 the last few episodes have really picked up. Well done guys x

@@savagehenry8286 Oh, I'm very sorry to hear that. I hope that things get as better as they can.

Key picking up the slack was something to behold. But the amount of jump cuts is even more evident in speaker view.
i for one loved the new screen distribution, it was so funny hearing watto's comments in the background or coming back to alex suddenly having a coin on his eye
It’s unusual and unsettling to have these screens jumping between contestants...
I love these gentlemen. The affection and wit bandied about here is phenomenal. It's the kind of friendship that we should all hope for!
mark, you're supposed to put the ring light behind the camera, it's not helping you here lol
I, for one, embrace the absolute chaos the last couple games have brought
"As crooked as a gate". Is that your £18,000 gate, Mark?
Horne's gotten a lot more erratic in the last few games, with his connection issues this week, and his heel turn last. This set, when you think about it, seems to be getting to him (and that's without exception).
a heel turn is a great way of describing it.
Feel like Horne could be wearing a cape and twiddling a thin mustache by the end of the set

Nah because the england example shows that what matters is the current membership status, not the status at time of birth
The category was introduced with Pablo Picasso, who was probably born even earlier than Snowy!

On my second watch through, I have to say, when you really think about it, this is my favourite episode.
👏👏 Wonderfully elegant walk from Watto. Astounding.
