    Sir, what if there was a single digit appearing twice. Eg. Let's say I and J had 11 each in the entrance exam, how should I rank them in such case?

      You add all 2 and dividing, that is it.

      @@EmerieVlogs If we have the same number appearing more than once(which is almost not possible) we calculate the mean before ranking it. E.g say we have "a" and "b" having the number 4 allocated to each and you are to rank them, we find the mean then after we rank it. Do you understand now?
      Do not worry over it cuz it will arguably never happen.
