A perfect dupe for Cranberry is the Burts Bees Matte Lip Crayon in 'Redwood Forest.' I have both. The color is the same; I can't tell the difference when I apply one on half of my lips. They both have the same blotted look, similar formula, and the same longevity. The Burts Bees is $9. The Bobbi Brown definitely feels fancier to use though because of the nice packaging.
Y. A. I second this, the only difference I’ve found is the Bobbi Brown is slightly more hydrating and balmy, and the Burt’s bees is slightly more pigmented. Both beautiful!

Great question! To me, Glossier Generation G is almost waxy and hard when you put it on, and a tiiiny bit drying if I don't apply lip balm over the top. These are much creamier, like a regular lipstick formula but they have a stain-like finish x

My top 3 - Telluride (my natural lip color - I wear Bobbi Brown Natural Skin Foundation Stick and Brownie Bobbi Brown Lip Color), Cranberry and Plum. I could not live without this. Well I had to check this out for myself. There is something about watching you swatch on your hand that really conveys texture. It doesn't always show how the colour is going to look on lips but as someone who picks a product on how it feels first I was drawn to try them. I went and tried and came with Cali Rose. Anyway, to make a long story short, love your videos.

I bought Plum which I LOVE! but I think I have to dabble into either Blackberry or Ruby. Ugh, such an amazing formula. I bought my first Bobbi Brown lipstick after watching this video. I got the shade babe and it's a little pink than i expected but I love the formula and how it doesn't have a strong smell as I am quite sensitive to smells when it comes to lipsticks.
Love these! My fav is Telluride (first purchase), followed by Babe (a grown-up pink). It was Hannah’s video that prompted me to purchase them too! This formula is so comfy on the lips. 💋 xoxo -gretchen

I dont use Bobbi Brown because is not cruelty free but we have same taste of lipstick style. I'm definitely a lipstick person especially red lipstick person. Always choose red lipstick. 😃

I love the chocolaty colour! It is really interesting and would love to try it especially since it is low maintenance and looks like it would be super hydrating on the lips. The winter in Canada can be rough on the skin and lips so any help in that dept is great!

Ooh good question! Much creamier than Glossier I'd say. To me, the Generation G formula is waxy and a tiiiiny bit drying after a while, but these feel like a normal creamy lipstick, just super sheer and stain-like x
Have you encountered any that smells weird? I just bought the color Ruby and although i love the texture, the smell is very strong. Maybe like licorice? Im not sure but i think i got a bad bullet lol. Love your vids btw!

Absolutely, that was one of the first reviews I filmed when I started my channel in late 2017! I use every Generation G shade, but I find this Bobbi Brown formula more creamy and less dry on the lips 👍💄 x
Matilda hey matilda I got the 'Nabila zero makeup pallet' and I am liking it alot. Maybe u can try that and review it. Its a Pakistani brand tailor made for brown skin but recently launched fairer shades and the aesthetics are so close to yours.

I got them in shades Grenaldine and Telluride! Grenaldine pulls like a brightened plum pink on me and is probably one of my favourite lipsticks of all time :)

The BB Crushed lip colors are wonderful. My favorites are Angel and Baby. They feel great, wear well and stay on.

I bought my first Bobbi Brown lipstick after watching this video. I got the shade babe and it's a little pink than i expected but I love the formula and how it doesn't have a strong smell as I am quite sensitive to smells when it comes to lipsticks.

I dont use Bobbi Brown because is not cruelty free but we have same taste of lipstick style. I'm definitely a lipstick person especially red lipstick person. Always choose red lipstick. 😃
good news since 2013 it's impossible to buy or sell cosmetics tested on animals anywhere in the EU :)
Bobbi Brown is sold in China and since China requires all cosmetics to be tested on animals (usually the brand pays third-party testers), Bobbi Brown is not cruelty-free.
It is illegal to test cosmetics or their ingredients within the UK (or elsewhere in the EU) - it has been illegal in the UK since 1998. Since March 2013 it has also been illegal to sell cosmetics products within the EU which have been, or which contain ingredients, newly tested on animals.
Yes, meaning the cosmetics sold in the UK or EU are not tested on animals however if a brand sells in China, they must submit to regulatory governmental testing, meaning that the company still allows for animal testing. A quick google would bring up the specific laws.
the problem is many companies cannot simply cut down buisness in an entire country whilst ruining the livlihood of millions of employees in that country just like that. and china is currently working on their ways of testing their cosmetics www.ibtimes.com/first-human-skin-sample-grown-lab-could-artificial-epidermis-end-animal-testing-1576882 and L’Oréal contributed in November 2013 to the first-phase for the validation of a skin irritation alternative method in China.

I love the chocolaty colour! It is really interesting and would love to try it especially since it is low maintenance and looks like it would be super hydrating on the lips. The winter in Canada can be rough on the skin and lips so any help in that dept is great!
It's such a beautiful shade isn't it! I definitely don't find these to be a drying matte lipstick so could be worth a try. I'm coming back to Canada soon, can't wait! 😄 x

Hope you enjoy it! 👍 The scents in mine don't bother me at all (so much so that I didn't even notice it until other people commented on it). Some people find it too strong and are put off by it, so you wouldn't be alone x
if you've tried hourglass confession lipsticks how would you compare? 👄 i think I'll treat myself to Telluride as i I was lucky enough to pick up the limited edition bronzer and have back up 😉

How do they compare to the glossier ones? Are they moisturizing or mainly non-drying?
Ooh good question! Much creamier than Glossier I'd say. To me, the Generation G formula is waxy and a tiiiiny bit drying after a while, but these feel like a normal creamy lipstick, just super sheer and stain-like x
Have you encountered any that smells weird? I just bought the color Ruby and although i love the texture, the smell is very strong. Maybe like licorice? Im not sure but i think i got a bad bullet lol. Love your vids btw!

Absolutely, that was one of the first reviews I filmed when I started my channel in late 2017! I use every Generation G shade, but I find this Bobbi Brown formula more creamy and less dry on the lips 👍💄 x
I absolutely love this crushed lip colour. I wish they were pinkier though.
There are quite a few really pink shades in this range I think! Just not a colour I tend to wear x
Matilda hey matilda I got the 'Nabila zero makeup pallet' and I am liking it alot. Maybe u can try that and review it. Its a Pakistani brand tailor made for brown skin but recently launched fairer shades and the aesthetics are so close to yours.

I got them in shades Grenaldine and Telluride! Grenaldine pulls like a brightened plum pink on me and is probably one of my favourite lipsticks of all time :)
