Getting g ready to try a bloom or two but I knowenouh to know you make it look easy. Your work is stunning! It's beautiful! Both. But the first is better. They're both stunning! Thank-you. Your work is wonderful!
Gorgeous Niki! I just took the Shelee course so I will be extra binging your channel. I’m looking to get some TLPs…can u tell me your absolute favs? ❤️
Hey lovely! Thank you so much! 😀 ❤️ Have you joined the private group yet? My face TLP's? That's hard as they're all gorgeous, however, I reckon Golden Peach is a must have as it fits with everything and alters friending what you use with it. I also love Mermaid, Blue Eyes, Comet (interference red/gold), Ore (stunning gold), Twilight (Magenta), Sea Glass, Funk, Groovy (I love this mixed with Twilight). I think these are the ones I use mostly, I love to mix them together to create new colours too. I disperse the pigments in a very small amount of acrylic binder to make a creamy paste (not watery, not too thick) then add an untinted gloss house paint base and then add varnish.
@@NikiDArt thanks Niki! Yes I just joined the Facebook group but have had very little time to explore it. I am going to order some tlps so your recommendation is amazing! Thanks for your help. Always love what you do! ❤️❤️
Very nice..... what causes the white cells to pop through. I've had this happen at times to where they are too dominating and don't really know why. I try to have the base at the same consistency as the top layers.
I love & admire your work & as a beginner you are my mentor, BUT it seems to me the most important thing with this art is the first coats of paint that cover your canvas before the color, the surface that allows your colors to move. What is the mix that you use for the Pillow & the Base? In these wonderful videos it's already there. I guess you assume we know that part, maybe you have a video that addresses just this topic ? I would really appreciate to know which video that is. You are a fantastic artist & of all the videos available in my opinion you are the best, thanks............ Diana
Thank you 😊❤️ I do usually state what is used (maybe I forgot in this particular video). However, as I state at the end all my paints, recipes etc are always listed in my description box below every video. It's normal low sheen house paint, I don't add anything to it, just stir the can and use it.
I do use one for the other pouring techniques, however for this I'm using the Sheleeart pouring medium which is untinted house paint and gloss varnish. My paint mixing video #92 shows how I mix up my colours
Another beauty Niki. Thank you for sharing. Can you please tell me about the rounds you use. Are they canvas or wood/ mdf? Also where you purchase them. Couldn’t see any links in your description. Thank you
Thank you Celia 😀💙 I show the label for one in the video, they're Mont Marte canvases and I buy them from various places as we don't have big art stores here like in the US.
So angry with myself that I missed this live. I was sure I had my reminder on. Heard the beep and it was Michelle already. I have had many mess up Michelle M. days lately. Life can get in the way. 😪 But so much beauty my heart is singing. Thank you! I will be certain next week to watch live...so I can be chatting to tell everyone how gifted you are...in real time.
Beautiful!! Are you popping bubbles neither the skewer in the paint? I see when u r fixing some things with it but sometimes I can’t tell what I’ve using it for?? Asking because I am a real beginner!!
well, you made it look easy...!. i have tried this in the last couple of days and realised it is not simplistic...!. i used 100% acrylic white gloss base paint (acrylic house paint) straight out of the tin and when i blew, i got several realy large `blobs` of white base coming through which i could not disguise. not sure why this happened.
Wow!❤ so beautiful! I have failed at my attempts but after seeing how gorgeous yours and Michelle's blooms have turned out, I will try again. Thank you for sharing!
this kind of off the subject of painting, but could you please tell me the names of the songs on your playlist?? they would be perfect for me when I am trying to paint. thank you in advance and love your videos!!
Thank you Sherry 😀💖 They're from Epidemic Sounds, the link is at the bottom of the description box, it's a monthly or yearly subscription for the songs
I love them both. Awesome colors!! I really like the curved stem, adds more interest, I wonder how a couple of small very faint leaves would look? 👍💚💜❤️
Thank you Trisha! 😀 ❤️Yep the curved stem is my new favourite I think! I dreamt that one up lying in bed trying to sleep with a million ideas in my head 😂
Instead of music it would have helped to have explanations as to why you are doing what you do. Types of paints weren't mentioned, only colors. Is there some type of reaction to create the effects. If so what is being used? Why use a blow torch? How is the canvas attached to whatever it is attached to? What paint is being used for the beginning white? I'm a oil painter that paints realism. This is an interesting process for me, but can't figure it all out without narration.

Very nice..... what causes the white cells to pop through. I've had this happen at times to where they are too dominating and don't really know why. I try to have the base at the same consistency as the top layers.
my question also....
Air bubbles in either the base or the colours, or both. Usually it's when I'm too impatient to wait after mixing lol

Beautiful!! Are you popping bubbles neither the skewer in the paint? I see when u r fixing some things with it but sometimes I can’t tell what I’ve using it for?? Asking because I am a real beginner!!
Thank you Patricia! 😀❤️ Yes that's correct popping air bubbles in the paint otherwise you can get lumps as it dries if they're trapped

Hello Nikki, I want to buy E-Course, but your coupon code is not working. Can you help me , please?
Hi! 😒Oh no! I'll try and find out what's going on. So what happens when you put the code in the discount box?

Everything is listed in the description box 🙂 The torch is to pop any air bubbles. Nothing is used to attach the canvas to the lazy susan
