This video is really marvellous... cool and poetic at the same time, because motorbikes are speed but also poetry - for those ones who can feel it. Brother, you did a smash!
Well it's not quite the same without the barbed wire. :-) Love the Rickman Triumph wish I had one of them. It was the Motorcycle scenes in this movie that sparked my interest in Motorcycles, been riding since 1968 and always will.
Not so known that this scene or escape-to-Switzerland-sequence was put in at McQueen's insistence at sign-on, assuring him a starring role. A chance to show off his motorbike skills. Funny that at the test screenings Coburn and Garner took a chunk of his thunder. SM was not cool with that. Uncool.
Great film, who was riding?!!! Lovely to meet you again at the weekend Gerry and see the beautiful bikes that Kevin works on. To be honest I would rather watch bikes than golfers! All the best Sue

Nice to finally see someone open up on one of these things!

Énorme émotion 😢
Thats how you do it guy. Dressed like Steve.
Good show ole Boy!!! Well done!!
Bravo!!! From an English guy typing from a resistance stronghold deep in rural France (gliders were in the back field)! 🎥🎬👍👍👍🎯

Great jump👍 Bud Ekins would be proud
Stuntman Bud Ekins did that jump, in the movie, not Steve McQueen. Other motorcycle scenes, McQueen was the rider.
Big difference between a stripped-down modified motorcycle and the fully equipped '62 Triumph motorcycle in the movie.
Carswell is just up the road from me! Fantastic.

Lot better than the guy martin jump

This is Steve Colley, trials rider, just doing his thing.
@@waynesimpson2074 ha what a coincidence because McQueen's first name is Steve
Excellent
Very cool
Rumour has it that steve McQueen did , in fact, do the jump, but not in front of cameras, just to prove something to himself. i can buy that.
WRONG. Stuntman Bud Ekins did it, not McQueen.
Awesome!!
Beats Guy Martin’s styrofoam fence by miles!
A good ride spoilt!
Только макКвин смотрелся на мотоцикле гармонично, а тут какой-то переросток.
Maybe one day.
You do remember he fell on his arse & chased himself dressed as a German. but your bike does look pretty good.
😢cool
Man
Cool
Cooler
Because all golf courses should be motocross tracks!!!

Rickman Metisse, the very stuff of wet dreams.
