Recorded last year in the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin, Satin Jackets' 'Think About It' was, in the German producer’s own words, “proper disco”, a sun kissed combination of guitars, pianos, strings and a sumptuous vocal that, at the very least, had us dancing around our living rooms last summer. Now with the sun returning to the Northern hemisphere the track gets remixed by rising Scandi-disco star Cavego.
Norway’s Cavego gets straight down to business kicking things off with a cavernous 4/4 beat, pulling the track’s remarkably funky bass line right to the front of the mix and then wisely letting the vocals take centre-stage. As the track swells and develops and the guitars and synths pile in Cavego still gives each element a sense of space, the result a deep, rich disco track that’s sure to sound incredible pumping through a club’s sound-system.
