  • Sean is an ex-marine who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Sean always wanted to join the military since being inspired by a friend of his who had also joined the military. Whilst serving in Iraq, the experience was everything you thought it would be. There were so many IDF’s (indirect fires) and rockets at the time and a lot of them were landing in camp. He was hit a few times, like a lot of his colleagues.
After returning from work, Sean suffered from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) like many other soldiers. Sean lost a lot of his close friends, his social life and his family. Sean was also unable to hold down a civilian job due to his erratic behaviour and difficulty coping with people around him.

One of the sweetest, hardest, most honest of stories. So many vets from the US and UK suffer from PTSD, and no idea of how to handle it. God bless you, Sean. I'm proud of you for "pressing play".
