My girlfriend daughter has been missing presumed drown for over 2 yrs. The police almost did nothing to find her. You can find the story under Astoria missing woman, she is biracial and has asperger's. There is evidence that she was kidnapped. If I connect you with my friend Gail Evan's Sanders would you consider the case?
Yep, thete are ways of opening said trunk without bashing it with crowbars and destroying what is left of the car! They don't seem to know what they are doing...
I watch a lot of UA-cam, as I don't own a television & I have to say that this is one of the most LEGIT channels I've had the privilege of subscribing to! You guys are amazing & I am proud to say we live in the same state~!!
Wow! That's an awesome find! My brother restored one of these from the ground up in the UK about 25 years ago. They were a very well built car, a combination of luxury and performance. I wonder how many cars these days would last as long in the water? Also, I bet the trunk would just disintegrate with just one pull of the crowbar on the generic garbage from today.
That generic garbage from today would withstand a 40mph head on collision and save your life while this ultra luxury car from yesterday would make the passenger cabin the crumple zone. How do you like them apples?
That smaller red enamelled steel box inside the tool-box looked like a genuine Sidchrome socket-spanner set, & as they were well made tools with good chrome-plating on them, I'd love to see what condition they're in!
I been watching this show for the last 2 weeks. Great show. I watch these all day long on my computer everyday. Love these shows. Thank u. Keep up the great work. Bringing answer to people's families. Great job. Guys.
Could not find post of when you and your daughter made chunks of metal to sell to buyers who wanted a souvenir from that old red car (I think it was red). Can not believe that you did that and that she filmed it. she is a good egg. I bet you are so proud of her. She certainly loves her Dad.
That dash is standard. All wood. AND its a manual. (Or "stick" as the Americans say) Jaguar MK2 in a manual is a rare and desirable car. Just the manual conversion gear (geabox, pedal box, clutch assembly etc) would be worth a bit and certainly would cover the cost of recovery.
I worked on those cars as an apprentice mechanic and I never ever saw an automatic in five years. The whole idea of the car was it was a sports car and a drivers car, not a lazy drivers car.
Just found this channel and I love it! However, it KILLS me not knowing the history of all these cars. Who’s was it? How long has it been down there? Why is it there? I’m sure the majority is probably going to be insurance claims but still.
Thanks for finding our channel! Usually the cars we find are either stolen or insurance fraud. The police don't give us much information on the cars, they don't want to be involved unless we find a body.
That's what makes these sometimes hard to watch. The 'yank,' 'rip' and total mauling of these vehicles is hard to take. The 1973 Mustang was a pretty bad one. Almost tore the car in half dragging it over a rock. Any salvageable parts were destroyed by over-the-top methods. These aren't the guys to hire for a delicate removal job. Not by a long haul.
That deck lid put up a fight. All I could think about is getting a water hose and going through every inch of the car. Coins, rings, jewelry maybe. Cool vid
I love jaguars, but never owned any. Before I was born, my dad owned a jaguar from a famous person, but sold it because he was always repairing it. My dad was an excellent mechanic. Im a car lover. Ooh tools, right up my alley. Keep up your excellent work. May g-d bless you and your family always.
Why is it instantly everyone thinks of a dead body in the trunk; so morbid 😂😂 God that automobile had to have been such a beauty on the road 😍 Thanks again for cleaning the river for those who don't appreciate it up in Washington state 😃👍
We have a few lakes with a few mysteries in our town. We have a legend of a train that disappeared into one lake and other local divers have found cars in the other that the police have done nothing about. We also had an elderly gentleman go missing and has never been found.
Old seguin Bridge. 25 cars or more. I know the old man who ran off stolen cars into the water like 30 + years ago and ended up becoming a junk yard owner and hung an old Volkswagen beetle in a tree where he lived. The car is still in the tree off county rd 467 in seguin tx.
Good effort getting it out of the water way. Divers did a similiar thing here in Canberra in Lake Burley Griffin. And yes the car did contain a body! Perhaps gift it to the Jaguar car club for concour display! Perhaps not.
the big open trunk reveal is like that one scene from jame camerons titanic when the safe was opened only to find alot of crap inside minus jacks sketch drawing
Saw the tree next to the car..Have you all thought of old growth wood/tree salvaging?? I know it doesn’t have the same affect in the water as a car but you can save a new living tree with a tree that either was lost to weather or a chainsaw from years past. Saving the environment in another way :)
who ever did this i think ted from scubs said it best, "no i just have the same dream, i'm with doctor kelso out on a lake and i hold him under until the bubbles stop blub blub" WHOEVER DID THIS TO A GREAT BRITISH CLASSIC DESERVES THE SAME TREATMENT! held under water until the bubbles stop, also yes there are good swishes oak dash too what's left of it, the swishes would of been lights, fogs, heater, and i think beams pritty much a classy car that should not be in the water, rusting in some hoarders yard or in a barn yes

Man that was a lot of money in car sent to the bottom. Never found a Jaguar. Did fish a friends 1974 International Scout out of the Finely River by Ozark Mo. Was playing in the mud during high water and dumped it into a 8ft deep hidden wash out hole . Ran the hoist truck with in 200ft of it and fished it out. Wasnt completely lost. Took two weeks of drying it out and draining out all of the water out of the gas tank. Front and backup diffs and trans and transfer case. Drained out the engine and brakes of water and fluids. Flushed all systems and power washed it inside and out. Ran a dehumidifier and fans. Got it all back together and it ran and drove afterwards. Vehicles can with stand exposer to water. Get to them quick enough. And they can be saved with some work. Repaired and saved a 1963 Mercury Comet. Caught in a flash flood and rolled up on its side. Owner was very appreciative for saving the car. Got it running and dried out. It can be done but its a long process. Saved a Buick Wildcat 425 Nail head engine that sat in the car in six feet of water for 2 years. Drained it and soaked with Diesel fuel and Dextron transmission fluid. Two weeks later I flushed it out and filled it with 20 W50 Rotella oil. Turned over engine then put the spark plugs in it . Poured some gas in the carburetor and it started and came back to life. The car a 1966 Buick Wildcat was stripped out and ran it in 4 demolition competitions. Sold the engine and used a Chevrolet 307 engine and a Powerglide trans for power in the car.

I love how "I think there's a body in the trunk" turned into like a major part of what they do
Even tho there isn't anything worth saving on that car, it still hurt a little to see him go to town with that pry bar lol.

Not stopping any time soon. Once we clean up Oregon, I’ll have to travel.

Tragic to see such a beautiful thing left to languish under the water.
promptly destroys the tail light and the one unbent piece of sheet metal on that car...

Great video 😊👍
Most interesting video so far. As a car guy it about killed me to watch you use that pry bar on the trunk 😬
Yeah, sorry for the trunk. 😂😬
A restorer will have it up and running in no time, although they will ask “who was the idiot that hit it with a crowbar”.

Was wondering, do you have a magnet 🧲 big enough for this one? 🤣
A very Beautiful car the Jag is
Mk 2 Jag's were always used by villians. I've done my homework on this by watching 'The Sweeney', Robbery with Stanley Baker and 'Minder' !
They never crashed the Granda but the moment you saw a Jag you knew it would be goner by the end of the episode
Old car
If it was a white Jag it would go off a cliff - they used that shot in many shows.
