How I Take Notes in Dental School || Brittany Goes to Dental School

- Hi everyone, this video is about how I personally take notes in dental school! In general, I have two types of lectures/powerpoints, the "comprehensive" type and the "outline" type. I approach the the two a little bit differently but for the most part, the best way to take better notes is by actively listening! By the way, I use Microsoft OneNote to take notes!

your an inspiration, I can't wait to go back to the states from this deployment in the middle east and start my journey in dentistry. I've already got my dental assisting registration out here online and kindly enough the dental office out here on base is letting me observe for education purposes. Watching your videos motivates me even more though, I can't wait to go to dental school.

Brittany Watu I used to just use the slide shows, but now I try to list n in class and read or watch videos to understand, and of course talk to the prof during their hours
I would listen and summarize it in my mind and put it in writing. I mean not the whole lecture to memorize but everytime the professor pause and then ill tale it down by making it concise, shirt and understandable

Great video! Very helpful. Curious, what are your thoughts on hand writing vs. laptop note taking? Or do you hand write/draw the majority of your laptop notes after class.
I take notes with laptop only! I am pretty slow when it comes to handwriting so I prefer to use the laptop to work faster! After class, I don't rewrite my notes but I learn using flash cards

+Brittany Watu mine says PDF printout. And when I try any other way, it lets me copy the link on the page, but when you press it it opens in a different application and it's not pasted page by page on one note. It's basically a link
