Love this song. This album was Tupac breaking away from the mold and doing his own thing. Had this album, but when “Only Built for Cuban Links…” AKA “The Purple Tape” released later that year, this TuPac’s album started seeing little rotation in NY. It was a great album and deserved the awards it received. “Only built for Cuban links…” was fire as well and I personally felt it should have received best rap album. I recommend checking out “Guillotine (Swordz)” off that album. You will pleasantly surprised how good it is.

The South… They had trouble grasping the Poetry concept of Rhythm And Poetry (RAP). The important thing is they tried… and tried… and tried. As a result of their efforts we got some of the best beats in the genre.
