Thank you, I really appreciate that. And yes, I stick with 50-400 ISO setting no matter what. My thinking was that the shadows should be dark as it’s night and as long as I am shooting something that has light, it should be okay. Was pleasantly surprised when I got to color grading them 😁😁

Agreed! Especially if it’s for incognito, less in your face type of stuff. If you are planning to take photos then maybe still consider the Sony. Although it depends on what Sony camera you got 🙌🏼
@arthur.edelmans I got a a6700 its not massive but I'll be with family and lots busy areas so thought this was a great solution for filming... I'm taking the sony too, so it will be interesting to see what ends up getting used most by the end of the trip... Think the DJI is great for the tourist thing as u can just lock it on to something and still be taking in the experience too. Think it's great tbh, looking forward to seeing the results 👍🏼

How well do you think this would work to capture myself playing solo acoustic gigs at bars (low light, not much space available) and playing live in my home music space (decent light and more space.). Audio will be captured separately. My alternative would be a camera such as a Sony zv-10 and a wide angle lens such as Sigma 16mm. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

You got a point I never fully answered if you should wait until pocket 4. And to answer it now, I think the Pocket 3 is good enough. The price point is low enough, and the changes will be incremental I think.
I would argue that an iPhone produces the best quality video with the availability of ProRes Log. Now I fully respect that I might be wrong, but in this case I chose to say an iPhone because that’s what I use and people I know use as well. At least for photos and videos

I thought the camera used throughout the video was the osmo pocket 3. If the osmo pocket 3 gives the same quality videos as the one on your sit down video that would be a game changer! Nice review man. Keep it up.
That’s a very good point. If someone is interested in getting a microphone along the camera, then the creator combo is the way to go. As I said in the video, it’s only a small camera for BTS and more lifestyle content, and I already have microphones 😁🙌🏼🙌🏼 Thanks for bringing this up

Your best bet would be the Sony ZV-10 as it has a bigger sensor and will let more light in 😌😌

Funny enough I didn’t even use noise reduction in post. As long as you stick with ISO 50-400 you should get minimal noise 🙌🏼

Yes I did! Out of the camera the footage doesn’t look nearly as good, so I had to add my own look as well as bloom and masking 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Why D-log-M instead of HLG? HLG is a wider color space and a standard right?
D-Log M offers higher dynamic range and HLG is not ideal for post production especially color grading. 😌😌
Is that push zoom your doing in post or does it actually come with a zoom feature?
The Pocket 3 has a zoom feature built in, but I prefer doing it in post
