Walkeshwar Sri Kashi Math is a sacred place situated at the Bank of Holy BANGANGA going back in history sanctified by many events and persons. This Math is further sanctified by two Holy Vrindavanas situated there. First one is 7th Yati of Kashi Math Samsthan, i.e. Shrimad Madhavendra Tirtha Swamiji, which is a 'Jeevanth Samadhi', Second Vrindavan is of 18th Yati Shrimad Varadendra Tirtha Swamiji. Both Yatis are great spiritual personage.
The Math was originally built around mid of 1700s. Last jeernodhar was about 90 to 100 years back. It is true that one who prays at ubhaya Vrindavanas are blessed by both Yativaryas and one's prayers and wishes are all fulfilled. The jeernodhar work was started about a year ago and work is going on smoothly with the grace and blessings of Swamiji.
