don't know what to say and whom to say, so the only approachable person in my knowledge was you. I have a boy in college. We both liked each other and he asked me if I would like to be his girlfriend. I said yes. But the actual thing is, I had never been in a relationship before. And was always excited to try it once, just like many other girls of my age. I wanted to just try this. I was like I will gain a new perspective of college life, maybe it'll be fun. But I never wanted something permanent. I thought it was normal for first love to be incomplete. I thought it would be a natural thing. The boy is a really good person. We have never done anything that might hurt our parents or could be considered wrong for our age. It's been a very sweet puppy romance, as in getting flowers for each other, being emotionally available, helping each other, guiding, studying together for exams, laughing around, all in all a very beautiful time. But the thing is it's been more from his side. Everytime something wrong happens,he takes its complete responsibility. He always apologises first. He basically does so much for me that I feel like I don't deserve all this and that he too has a limit and will eventually exhaust himself and I will be left with a lot of empty expectations. The next issue is that, he belongs from Bihar and I am from Maharashtra. My parents will never like a boy for me who is from there. Honestly,I won't like it for myself. But then,you may ask why did I say him yes then? I think it was because I thought it was anyways not possible for us and I had never experienced such a feeling. I just couldn't resist the rush I had then. I just wanted to experience that rosy feeling and thought no one else will ask me for it,so let's grab the opportunity. don't know what to say and whom to say, so the only approachable person in my knowledge was you. I have a boy in college. We both liked each other and he asked me if I would like to be his girlfriend. I said yes. But the actual thing is, I had never been in a relationship before. And was always excited to try it once, just like many other girls of my age. I wanted to just try this. I was like I will gain a new perspective of college life, maybe it'll be fun. But I never wanted something permanent. I thought it was normal for first love to be incomplete. I thought it would be a natural thing. The boy is a really good person.
We have never done anything that might hurt our parents or could be considered wrong for our age. It's been a very sweet puppy romance, as in getting flowers for each other, being emotionally available, helping each other, guiding, studying together for exams, laughing around, all in all a very beautiful time. But the thing is it's been more from his side. Everytime something wrong happens,he takes its complete responsibility. He always apologises first. He basically does so much for me that I feel like I don't deserve all this and that he too has a limit and will eventually exhaust himself and I will be left with a lot of empty expectations.
The next issue is that, he belongs from Bihar and I am from Maharashtra. My parents will never like a boy for me who is from there. Honestly,I won't like it for myself. But then,you may ask why did I say him yes then? I think it was because I thought it was anyways not possible for us and I had never experienced such a feeling. I just couldn't resist the rush I had then. I just wanted to experience that rosy feeling and thought no one else will ask me for it,so let's grab the opportunity.
But now, I feel really guilty. especially bcz I know that the boy is a really kind hearted person. I feel so toxic. And the more I delay,the more I'll hurt him. I have tried to end things up, but he always takes everything upon him and asks me not to leave. I can't tell him I don't love him coz I do....but not as much as he does. I feel stuck. What should I do? I am unable to understand my own feelings. I don't want to tell him that hey, this was all fun and I am not serious about it...coz I told him that I am...I know another blunder...but I did it...I just can't process anything.
