I have a similar skin tone as you. Sand does look light on you. I used to use sand but I am darker now because I am tanning. Have you found the shade that works for you?
Girl, stop being a pesimist. This foundation is great 4 oily skin. Its beautiful for hours. Put your primer on then use some powder on top of the primer. wait a couple minutes then add foundation, this is what we do to remain MATTE allday

Ms. K G usually if your makeup is cakey you havent primed yourself or you’re applying too much. If it isnt that it aint really the right kind of foundation for your skin type

@@taishaalicea they have 3 different transluscent shades. They have transluscent, transluscent medium and transluscent deep for different skin tones. I hope u were able to return that setting powder and have it changed for the right color. :)
I notice you use that primer a lot, does it help mattify? I do see it minimizes the pores!! Is it your fave primer? I have combination skin, so in the summer i need my matte products, and i need those pores gone!! Btw, i loooove your videos, how you explain every single thing, and your makeup looks are bomb🔥
Taisha have you tried the Becca ever matte primer? It was my go to all last year for my 12 hours shifts. That’s the most matte primer I’ve ever used. The MUFE mattifying primer is pretty good but i don’t think it’s as matte as the Becca one.
I’ve never applied a thin layer of translucent powder before foundation but I’ve seen Jackie do it. I have oily skin and I’m wondering if doing this would actually make a difference 🤷🏼♀️
Hmm..I'll have to try it. I'm wondering if it will cause issues with blending though. I'm very picky about my makeup looking too cakey since I am so oily.
I'm mac nc35 , nc35 is a little peachy whereas golden beige is warmer it has more of a yellow/gold tone without taking me a shade up. It's a perfect match
Went to ulta to and I was looking for a good foundation for oily skin....& they recommended this....makes my face super oily 😒...wouldn’t recommend this
Josseline Garcia obviously I’m not Taisha (lol) but try the Collab translucent powder ($15) or the rimmel stay matte translucent powder ($5). But make sure you completely wipe away the powder if you’re using it to bake. I love both of these for setting my whole face- I use my beauty blender to pat it into my skin. In my experience both of these look great in photos as long as you’re not using any other products that may cause flashback. They make my skin look flawless 🙂🙂
I wonder if you could wear it in winter. Right now I wear the tarte shape tape matte foundation and literally do 4 dots. I am usually dry/normal but I am oily right now. I have set it with the btw powder and it has stayed all day same as Laura Mercier. The translucent powder is weird though because if I bake with the btw it makes my undereye darker. That’s why I want hudas baking powder but we’ll see. I am trying to do no buy July. Ofcourse I dreamed about makeup shopping last night.

I tried this foundation for the first time today and honestly it didn't live up to my expectations, although it does look beautiful on the skin its way to thin in consistency to cover anything up on my face. I have problems with redness, scars and spots almost 24/7 and when a foundation claims to be 'full coverage' I expect full coverage. I used 2 pumps for all over my face but it was not enough for me and I could still see through to my scarring ect basically meaning I would be using double to amount of product than normal and It wouldn't last me aslong as my usual foundation. To put it into perspective I use the Urban Decay all nighter foundation with the same 2 pumps and I always have some left over on my hand and it covers everything effortlessly. I feel like the foundation was made for people with naturally flawless skin, I have dry/combination skin. Please tell me someone feels the same as me?

I have combo to oily skin and I looove that foundation; it barely makes me oily by the end of the night. I’m really curious about the new dior backstage face & body foundation though! It conceals while it keeps my under eyes from drying out!I really like it better than tarte shape tape because its too drying and creases.I'm glad that I watched your video. Great video...never used any Too Face...color ranges and claims just dont work for me...my everyday favorites are the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra foundation and Dermablend loose setting powder(regular white translucent) if you wanna check them out.

You need to get the regular translucent powder not the medium one.

The translucent medium is for deeper skin tones, there is 1 above it that’s translucent light.

The power she used is meant for highlighting on darker skin tones she needed the powder that was lighter for sure!

Misty Telling I’m oily. I own the peach foundation and I definitely recommend! It matte, literally transfer proof, yet look so nice and velvety:)
