- ● Hey guys, my new film/tribute is finally ready ! This time it's about of one of the biggest tragedy of tennis history, where Federer became the 1st man to loose a Wimbledon final after having match point since 71 years !
● I wanted to show you what happenned between his match one year ago when he also had match point in his quarter-final match against Anderson until that match with Djokovic. I hope you'll enjoy it, this was sûrely my last video. Making these 2 videos in this period has been an absolute treat for me.
Thanks to all !

As always a huge thanks to all the composers of these musics, my videos are only for an entertainment purpose !
Also a big thanks to the people who recorded the points from stadium I used + the footages of London in 4K at the beginning ! - Спорт
I see there are a lot of people who didn't overcome this match^^
And this exactly why I choose to make this video, I think we shouldn't try to forget what happenned that day just because of one point but rather look at the bright side of this final and this tournament overall. The level Roger was able to play after all he had to go through since his match lost against Anderson is absolutely phenomenal and specially at his age !
This tournament despite not winning will always last as one of my favorite in Federer's career. At the end I prefer remember the emotions and the 5 hours spent in front of my TV where Federer outplayed Novak for most of the match. We had 20 Grand Slam, I don't think one more will change everything. We all want Federer keep his record but this is not why I'm watching tennis, I think it's the same thing for you and we should all remember that !
Vey well said! It was indeed an amazing run at Wimbledon last year, you are so right about that. He played amazing overall, and being so close just shows how insanely competitive and capable he still is.
It still hurts anyway...
Nope. I’m only watching for #21 these days 😂😂😂
You a great intelligent and unique man lehunter that’s for sure!
What a good way to see it! You are also an all-time great tennis youtuber for sure. Thank you for giving me the pleasure to keep watching your legendary videos.
ONE suggestion: Would have been more epic if you in the 5th set showed all of Fed's winners when he almost broke at 10-10 or when it was, not just the hawkeye one, like all reeled off, and then show his backhand flick missing by an inch, not the Djok volley..
If Federer doesnt win another GS, this scar will never heal. That joy I had on Friday when he beat Nadal was crushed in seconds on Sunday.
You Fedtards were saying that too when Roger was on 17..on 18..on 19..do you have life really. Roger is 40 years old next year. Its enough.

For the record 21st slam and 9th Wimbledon. How sad.
Novak’s laser focus in the face of incredible adversity is truly something to behold... He continues to amaze the greatest players of his generation! His respect for both Federer and Rafa is tremendous, and tennis is what it is because of these three phenomenal individuals...

That final really hurts and i think that it will always hurt but we all have to think that it can happen and you can't always win. Also federer in his career has won matches like it, for example Wimbledon 2009 against roddick. Roddick played better and missed an easy volley that made him lose. The difference is that Roddick had never won Wimbledon while Roger had won 8. Federer has 20 slams, roddick 1. So that final against djokovic will always hurt but we must have the strength to go on and think that Roger is a champion that at 38 has brought djokovic in fifth set after 5 hours. That's incredible
An other difference is that Roddick didn't have two match points. This was the fist time a player overcame match points at a GS final.
No remember Coria’s FO Final he had a match point and lost
Coria was up two sets with match points and lost.

How Djokovic handled this 15:40 situation....his mental will. Overcoming such a massive pressure from everywhere of the stadium but his folks. I wish I had a fraction of that will. He will go down as the greatest champion for a reason, as a champion who simply refuses to lose.
This is a masterpiece, truly. One of the best vids i seen on YT(on TV to).
As a Novak fan i feel for Feds fan, this is heavy, heavy stuff.
One remark:I read lots of comment here and i didnt see any disrespect toward Novak generaly, just hones pain for your idol loss. So with that in mind i can tell, thrue Fed and tennis fans was not been on stadium that day, they was here, respect to author and Feds fans here.
Best regards from Belgrade
Painful to watch, but as always you have produced a masterpiece
Yes
Masterpiece. As Nolefan this match devastated me emotionally. It was really hard to believe in the victory. All went for Roger...
@Aron Poh It was of the highest quality, Roger was serving like a monster, with his forehand on fire, and neither Nadal nor Djokovic could not read his serve. Federer made 94 aces in thw Wimbledon 2019 final, which is more than what he did both in the Wimbledon 2014 and Wimbledon 2015 finals. At the end, Djokovic won by marginal details, but it doesn't make the match of lesser quality. Many Federer fans like to say that this match was "low quality"because they want people to forget the match. Sorry, but even if you hate this loss as a Federer fan, you must be objective. The match was a masterpiece both by the levle of paly and the emotions.
"All went for Federer"
Not really, Djokovic knew how to elevate his level during the crucial points, when it matters the most.
The serbian was the best about stats that you can't put in number : tenacity, mental strength, resilience, control emotions, clutch ability...
@@mickaellandry9726 I agree4 what you say about Novak, but it can't be denied that a large number of Federer fans are very disrespectful to Novak. Unjustifiably so in my opinion. I've never heard him bad-mouth another player. Unlike Mr Federer when losing to Novak.
Susan W Federer did it only once a decade ago and parents of Djokovic did it multiple times as well. You won’t see Federer fans cursing parents of Djokovic for those remarks but I always see Djokovic fans constantly cursing Federer for that one bad press. Is it so hard for you guys to forgive a guy who let out his emotions on his tough loss after so much efforts? Federer has since then always praised Djokovic for his game but you fans forget all those praises and rather prefer to remember his one fault.
@Aron Poh Definitely Novak wasn't playing at very high level.

Roger was an inch from winning another GS. As long as you're good enough, and you love the game, I see no reason to stop. He still has a lot to give the sport if he desires to do so. In some way it is cool stopping on the top. But also a shame, that you don't push it as far as you can, for as long as you can while you're still good enough, and he is more than good enough. Still world champion potential.

Amazing video. Thank you so much for putting in the time to make this. It is a piece of art!
Just another epic ride of emotion and greatness that Roger Federer takes us, his fans on. He shares with us so many thrills of victory. And we help him shoulder the heartbreak of every big loss. Worried more about his emotional suffering and personal well-being, than just some number added to a slam count.
As a Nole fan I was astonished that he overcame those two match points. Roger had played brilliantly and Novak had been inconsistent and on the whole probably a level below Roger on that day. But at crunch time, when so many other players had blinked against the great one, Nole stood strong - in the face of Roger's play and in the face of a nakedly hostile crowd - and it was Roger who blinked. He blinked because of their past history, just like so many have blinked when they had chances against the great Fed at key moments. Nole had already established a small but decisive edge over Roger over the past decade, even repeatedly on Wimbledon's center court, Fed's sacred turf. To beat Roger there is to basically own him and indeed Novak had come to own him. Roger had neither his own confidence nor the defeatist mentality of his opponent to carry him through.
But the untold story you never hear Fed fans acknowledge (who seem to regard Fed worship and Novak disdain as givens, for largely illusory reasons IMO) is that Novak had to overcome both Roger and the slavish and rude Wimby crowd who had lost all semblance of British civility and were ravenous for another Fed major win in hopes of putting his GOAT status a step further from Nole and Rafa's reach. Federer is a great all time player of amazing ability and grace but the default Fed worship out there is a kind of bigoted pack mentality that exposed a lot of ugliness on that day and on so many others. What is really amazing is that Novak was able to face this hostility and keep his confidence and nerve!
Yeah, I understand why Fed fans are still hurting. Fed fan can't ever overcome this loss because they were shown this day that even when everything is going right for Fed he is in an inferior position to Joker and probably always will be and on this day their naked hero worship was both denied and exposed.
To me it's funny how Djokovic fans simply can't get over the fact that Federer has the most support in stadiums and most fans worldwide.
Seriously, what is so frustrating about that?
Yes, Wimbledon crowd was for Federer, so what? Djokovic has experienced this many times in his whole career, matches against Fedal, by now he is deffinitely used to it and it wasn't a problem for him in the Wimbledon final.
All this 'oooh he is so great because he had to overcome Federer and the whole crowd', JESUS CHRIST, I'm really tired od reading this shit again and again
@@miroslavjanecek9993 BS! They cheer his serve faults and boo minor shows of frustration and call out insults both at the US open (where it is blatant and outrageous) and Wimby. The level of Fed worship is downright messianic - kind of a pathetic bandwagon effect really. All of this represents a huge advantage for Fed and goes way beyond your tendentious framing as "more support", LOL. Good on him for saying in the calmer moments that he accepts it and keeps his head up. But it is still a huge disadvantage.
When rabid Federites stop ENDLESSLY trying to salvage a victory out of this loss - about how the loser "should" have won, was the "better player", was "unlucky" and how great he must be to come this close at the ancient age of 39 then I will stop pointing out that Joker had the added disadvantage of blatant crowd interference.
Is Novak too sensitive about it? Yeah, I'll grant you that. He is a bit of a prima donna and rather touchy at times. He has his own faults.
BTW Roger is clearly, in so many ways, the best player ever, particularly when he can play a match on his terms. controlling the action, as he did for quite a few years before two other all time greats came along to split up the major prizes, but Fed has his weak spots and both Nadal and Djokovic were able to exploit them and prove they have the better overall game. Deal with it and stop complaining.

He plays the role of a 'villain' of the tennis world in the eyes of so many people, unfortunately for him.

I will never get over this. Either this one or RG 2011.
It would have been the perfect ending for his career, defeating both his best rivals back to back for the first time, in Wimbledon and at 38.
It wasn't a great match from both, but Federer deserved it. His serve carried him to the match points, and left him when he needed it most.
Tragic.
But hey, back at AO 17, everyone said Fed now has his signature win and perfect career ender... just to put things into perspective.
But yes, the moment he had match points in the final, he absolutely should have won it from that point on.
@@TheRafaelBond Australian Open 2017 was perfect, a fairytale. But this win would have been beyond that, only winning that Roland Garros 2011 would have been better.
Both of them were too tight in this match, everybody forgets Djokovic was up a break and suddenly almost lost it. I felt that Federer only played somewhat comfortable in the beggining of it, and at the end after the 9-9, which is annoying by seeing how composed he was against Nadal. I thought he finally learnt how to control the pressure.
What suprised me it wasn't the match points squandered, it was losing 4 points in a row. He was in the same situation against Nadal, both in AO 2017 and WImbledon 2019, faced break points and saved them with his guts. Here he couldn't make a first serve.

They will regret for cheering against not only the best tennis player ever, but against amazing person with giant heart who is just a regualr guy at the end of a day who is not afraid to say no to the broken system. It was a plesure to watch you since begining of your career and i hope it will last at least 5 more years. Thank you for everything. THE GOAT
Please tell me you were drunk when you wrote this
@@0210mick what was wrong? Did i hurt your vaccine feelings?
@@GG_WP.13 with all due respect let’s say you said a bullshit about it. Aside from that I can agree about the injustified hate towards Novak, everyone can make a mistake and he’s always shown sportsmanship and dedication in tennis. He always had my support as a player and I’ll surely miss him when he’ll retire.
@@smarramba86 about what mistake are you talking about?
@@GG_WP.13 Lying to australian authorities to enter in the country, even if you don’t think vaccination is good you usually don’t try to make a fraud when you “stand for your ideas” (quoting novaxes’ words).
Personally I’m sorry because if he didn’t insist on a wrong idea he would probably have at least 2 slam tournaments more than Nadal right now, but I’m sure you have a different opinion about it so let’s just agree on the fact he’s a great and correct player on the court.
Unbelievable tennis documentaries. Keep up the good work. Absolutely adore your channel, good sir.
Such a great video ! Amazing editing, and beautifully constructed. I am a Novak fan,and this pops up as recommended just as Novak won Wimbledon again. I won't say i can imagine how much this match hurt Fed fans,i can't. Well i hope Fed will be back soon ! Cheers !
I can't watch this yet. When I have the courage or am ready again to accept the loss I will watch. Thank you again for your amazing works.
just be novak fun like me and its easy to watch :)
@@schmirgldecks Love it 🤣
This was painful to watch, Federer's losses are what makes his wins so amazing. And he will win again.
As I watched the first minute of the video, my first thought was: Man this guy can cut videos like a pro... The timings of the cuts... the music choosing... i wish i could edit like this... Masterpiece, got tears in my eyes watching, at that says all i think... thank you, keep the good work up man, cheers
I have watched your new 'A Loss to Remember' Very emotional.I was not sure if I should as I have watched your greatest about Australia 2017.I felt so sad at the start but by the end I understood why you made it.The Wimbledon final in 2019 against Novak was such a tough match and whoever lost after this epic would be devastated.Roger at his age is amazing and now he will be absent until 2021.What a welcome back he will get in Australia.
As much as a Novak fan I am, you'd have to be devoid of any emotion to not feel for Roger. When Roger, Nadal and Novak officially retitre, all three should be jointly inducted into the hall of fame for their contribution to tennis and sport as a whole. All three are beyond LEGENDS of the sport!
Great video, even tho I wanted Roger to win, this is a masterpiece for both Roger fans and Nole fans
You're the best bro thanks a lot for this film 🙏🏻🙏🏻
the king of tennis videos
Gosh, this video is hard to bear even as a Rafa fan. I am used to seeing all the legendary battles vs Rafa and you get to see these 3 guys as beasts, as unbeatable, as unbreakable. Seeing Roger starting to fall (and he's doing it at 38 yo...) is like smashing that godlike image, and it's very emotional and difficult to withstand. And with Rafa, I can't imagine how bad it will be. Many people will laugh at my comment, but I'm sure they haven't lived the Big 3 as the rest of us have. So many years... I really hope Roger wins a last big one.
This is probably an amazing video, with great editing, camera angles, music in the backround and overall great quality because that is what Lehunterpro's videos stand for: quality.
But I have to say, I just can't watch this video. I simply cannot get over this loss and still to this day can't believe how Federer didn't win. He was the better player overall but couldn't win the important points.
It still somewhat hurts. Regardless, keep up the great work!
It took me nearly 4 year to watch anything about this match that much it hurts.
Cannot bear to see this… Federer is always so very very special … splendid and spectacular…gifted, a swan .. brilliant .. wafts from here to there … too sensitive..this match was his… really hurts…
