Hey man, this idea and video is fantastic! I think its going to dramatically change the game for me, I just wanted to say thank you, and keep going forward in your YT journey, I wish you the best
Ive been using the Amaran 60X and the Light Dome Mini II on a small stand (because its so light) and I have my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 in vertical mode and I just keep the light and camera right on my desk whenever I want to record a high quality IG reel, drag it into Davinci right away and upload it. I love how this setup is and its great for talking-head shots
Such an incredible video- deserves way more views! Was curious… is this lighting setup indoors intended to be used with any other lights on, or lights off with the blinds closed? And is the background light behind you a second lamp (the one with the orange tint)?
Thanks a lot Katerina. You are too kind. The light on behind me is just a regular lamp I had on in my living room (it’s hidden by my torso). I turned the main light off but it’s personal preference. The soft box will light the subject and you can light the room however you choose :)
Thanks for the great presentation! With winter setting in, I'm moving my channel from the outdoors (using nature's own giant softbox) to indoors, like the workshop and such. I'm actually considering your exact setup for a similar reason: it needs to work in my new office/studio/cave space, where room is limited, and the ceiling is quite low. I'm worried I won't really be able to make proper use of a larger softbox (90 cm...120 cm), even though I'd love to achieve more neutral and evenly distributed lighting (not the Rembrandt style).
The bigger the soft box the softer the light, it depends what you are after. I think after a certain point the 60x wouldn't be able to physically hold a soft box which was too large/ heavy. But with the one I'm using it's perfectly capable and I could definitely go bigger! Hope this helps :)
I'd look fantastic for my teams meetings with this
@@alexanderrobertson7040 you’d look fantastic whatever the lighting

Thanks - It’s definitely a good choice for a smaller space!
What do you think is the biggest soft box that you can use for the 60 X and still make it look good?

@ thanks man
What camera and lens you are using?,
Hi Michael. Sony fx3 and sigma art 24-70mm. There’s a review of it on my channel.
What about the fan noise?
So I did notice fan noise when the light is turned up super high. It’s relatively quiet, but worth bearing in mind!
