There should be in the rest of McDavid's contract you should make the playoffs at least twice and at least once to the confrence finals or he walks. And with Draisatl extend him but trade him if McDavid walks
I like the idea of keeping nurse, but I think for Campbell if you wanted to trade him away you have to throw in at least a 1st round pick kinda like what LA did
Jack Campel could be moved to San Jose. I mean they are having a Nightmare of a team over there, it wouldnt matter which goalie is in the Net and 4 Years would be perfect for a rebuild in San Jose. Maybe he even bounces back to form and the Sharks would even gain more value out if it. You could gain some cap space and even aquire a backup and a good bottom 6 Forward in San Jose. It just makes sense for me, they need picks.
I don't think Cyn would subject his own team to the Soup, even tho they've been horrible, lol. Truth be told however, this might be the move for the Oilers in real life, get rid of soupy, take on literally any other goalie that could tandem/teach skinner how to be a goalie.
I don't think there is a huge amount you can do. They have all their cap tied up in the wrong players like Nurse who can't be traded, contracts like Nuge who are too good to give up to improve depth and a shallow prospect pool. I think all you can do is move a few minor pieces around, get a few rentals and if you don't perform in the postseason... blow it up and trade McDavid and Draisaitl for an absolute haul and hope you get lottery picks from them. My 2 cents :)
After the Oilers lost again... I needed this. Or I was gonna boot up NHL 24 and do it myself! I made an expansion team in Edmonton and they are stacked compared to Oilers but its sad that I had to do it lol. Both teams won cups but only my team did it twice. Oilers life is painful.
McDavid and Draisaitl will start producing more soon. I'm not an oilers fan but some things are inevitable. I don't see them missing the playoffs, but I don't expect them to get that very sadly.
I know the series is already running, but my McDavid and Draisaitl conditions would be: If Draisaitl doesn't want an extension, he will waive his NMC in the last year of his contract, but only for a contender team - you can trade him, or let him walk. If he wants one, re-sign him. If Draisaitl leaves and McDavid doesn't want an extension, same thing. If Drai leaves and McD wants an extension, or if Drai stays and McD doesn't want an extension, you can only offer McD exactly what he asks. If Drai stays and McD wants an extension, you can fleece McD. Also since the depth is thin and you're cap strapped, I'd focus on drafting players by ETA in the first two rounds
The window should be two years for McDavid because Leon would not resign for one year unless you make it to the Stanley Cup and if you are not in a playoff spot or close you trade Leon to a team in a top 4 spot and take a bad contract off that team hands and only get get 2 1st round picks. Keep Nurse unless you eat half salary and give up 2 1st or trade jack or other bad contracts with 1st and 2 round picks. Trade has much as you can to make a better team because after Leon and McDavid the team as more then 5 to 10 year rebuild. If you vets for picks and prospects McDavid would want a trade that year.
Hey just because I didn’t find any info on it, is the Boston series over or are there gonna be more videos on it. I really enjoyed the series and gonna love this one too but I kinda wanted you to get the cup before the end
In my opinion, dump Campbell with picks to a rebuilding team. Then trade a couple of picks and a depth guy for a solid defenseman or top 6 guy. Start Skinner, he can develop into a good goalie.
@@CynFtWProductions man looking at the views of the boston series makes me think of it as a first season TV show that was cancelled on a cliffhanger lol
Hey man, get sam gagner back on the team and move up lavoie to the nhl team, a mirror of the current season would be cool, for the first vid anyway. Cheers for the entertainment
With Leon 1year extension to line up with Connor. Then if dont make cup final they both walk after 3 years. Hyman as well un able to trade. Also i think Cambell could be traded but with sweetner for smaller value asset.
I think its unrealistic that leon and conor walk. They would get somethink back for them (at the deadline) and restart a rebuild). I would not let them go for free. Trade them at the last contract year at the deadline if you dont do great.

This team has no cap lol definitely gotta stay the course with those contracts.
I like the idea of a timetable for McJesus

It's a challenge building any team these days because most are right up against the cap.
You have to keep All The main roster guys end of their contracts , then you have permission to move them!!!

Draisaitl on the other hand is closer of a Tkachuk caliber player so you can make up a real blockbuster trade with Leon
Is Boston still going to continue? I hope so, that’s a fun series!!!
Me too
No it was pissing me off too much and viewers lost interest

Only being able to trade 1 of the 2 also makes it a little harder to gain assets or else you’d be getting back a lot
McDavid isn’t a tradable play like Shoei Othani you have to let him walk if the stipulation is “no cup in 3 years i want out”

I just dont get it why would the Oilers sign Cambell for 4 year 5M
He didnt play that great last year
The signed him the year before 5x5 as a UFA didn’t they?
@@CynFtWProductionsI thought leafs send him their way in trade along with hyman to get rid of cap, might be wrong tho

Send CeCi away please
Trade McDavid if you don't win in 3 years
