If you asked anyone but a ravens fan or analyst.. our dline wasn't rated. People said clowney and van noy were washed, pierce was injury prone and no one ever heard of madabeast, Washington or Jones unless you're a fan or youve done your research/homework.. they said with the loss of campbell, our line would be heavily affected.. apparently we dont have a "finisher" ... welp... we done warned everyone but no one listens to raven fans 🤷🏽♂️
You have to give credit to the players, but also the coaches. MacDonald is so creative. Also, a big difference is the hire of Chuck Smith. He's trained HS, College, and Pro athletes. He's a great coach. To me, he was the hire of the off-season. You also have to give credit to Anthony Weaver as well.
Watching our defense dropping QBs like files is awesome, but man, it also brings back some painful losses. I want these guys to TAKE what they deserve! Let’s GO!!

This morning, I was feeling nostalgic & watched a 90 min. video by NFL of the Ravens 2000 season, game-by-game, leading to the Superbowl. It was so damn good. FYI: Ed Reed wasn't even drafted until the following year (2001). And Ravens QB during that time, Trent Dilfer, was actually their back-up QB. Biggest takeaway: DEFENSE WINS GAMES! This current Ravens defense, along with LJ & a consistent offense, can definitely take us to a SB Championship Win this year!

Most sacks. #1 and #4 rated LB duo in the league, #2 for TD passes allowed, #1 in rushing TDs allowed, #2 in PPG with 15.6, #1 in Red Zone defense, #10 in INTs, #8 in forced fumbles, #2 in passes defended. We are allowing QBs Completion rating almost under 60%, #1 in pass yards per attempt at 4.6 and #2 in defensive plays, meaning our defense gets the opposing offense off the field This is a GREAT defense. Now let me say. 2000 Ravens defense was historical, but the game was different back then. Right now, if we can keep churning, we'll end thr season with one of the best defenses in the past 10 years if not more.
They are at least top ten but really top two in most categories, incredible really and by not playing this week some other teams will have yards and points put up against them. It's been a long run to the bye but if you had offered 9-3 and the number 1 seed going into it, even with the painful losses that *ALL* should have been wins, you would take it.

What is totally crazy about the Ravens, is the fact, that we had little to no pass rushers last year, and I was honestly wondering, exactly where was our pass rush going to come from 😳 Wow ! And some of those sacks were vicious, especially that one vs the Cardinals
Everybody thinks that the Ravens quarterback is good but really you take away his runs and he is weak we saw how Cam Newton went down it's going to be the same when you meet a really good team in the playoffs they're going to pay for not being able to throw as good
