  • Many cyclists are so focused on climbing Mont Ventoux, that they forget that the surrounding area has some very enjoyable rides. On this two-stage loop, you will find rolling hills, charming villages, and lots of vineyards. Not to mention an outstanding view of Mont Ventoux. This first stage starts at Bedoin with a view of Mont Ventoux. You ride along Mont Ventoux on small roads which take you up to Col de la Madeleine (not to be confused with the famous pas in the Alps). After you leave Malaucène a small back road called ‘Route de Veaux’ will take you to a very remote corner of the area with very few cars. On your way back you will climb up to ‘Pas du Voltigeur’. This ride is great for beginners and anyone that like riding beautiful landscapes with rolling hills.
Take your indoor cycling to the next level with our indoor cycling app Open Road:
Dive into an immersive indoor cycling experience with our training app ’Open Road’ for Windows. The app lets you ride the ride for real and provides a better and more realistic indoor cycling experience compared to our ride-along videos on UA-cam. The app is compatible with all ANT+ cycling devices, including smart trainers, power meters, and speed sensors. Athletes with spinning and exercise bikes without ANT+ compatibility can control the speed manually and enjoy riding with all the important cycling data displayed during the training session.

    Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute UA-cam and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, UA-cam, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride...
