I am in agreement with you that there is a sense of Airport walls color in the Communicore. It would have been nice to have had a little pop of color. I do like the flags hanging and maybe with more events coming then perhaps there will be some designs popping out. The Encanto performance looked like great fun for everyone. All the best for a new vision in Test Track or whatever they might decide to name it. I liked the mural and paint in the rooms in the Mickey and Friends. They made it very inviting.
I'm sorry...but what Disney built was EXTREMELY low budget. Disney then spread that small cost over 6 years financial books to absorb that cost. Disney didn't even spend a small amount of money to string steel cables and nylon fabric over that stage show viewing area! Keeping guests from being BAKED in this manner would have been CHEAP! Nope..Disney refused to even spend "that" small amount of money. Im so sorry but this Communicore and park bench area is sooo un-inspiring and I just can't pretend that it's amazing anymore. 6+ years of staring at a bomb hole crater....for "this"? They are filled with fairy tale-ish animatronics and castles and gardens. They need to learn what they've done to WDW. Epic Universe is coming, btw.

Jackie, did you know the original concept for living seas was supposed to be much more than we actually got ? It was originally supposed to be about poseido who would lead guest on an omnimover ride.
Hey there Jackie. It's so much fun to watch you in these videos. Your interactions with the characters, your general enthusiasm and hopeful outlook. And I love how you always try to see the good in things. You are a very inspirational person. I just wish we wouldn't have to settle for what we get with Disney instead of expecting their best like it used to be. Oh, well. Just the way things are I guess. That's why it's good to have people like you and Sam and others like you to help keep things upbeat and positive. So, thank you. Have a good evening. God bless! ❤️
Gray walls, gray, gray is a choice. A feel. I feel your hope for enhancements. Love Jackie's attitude. Airport terminal vibe is definitely an opportunity for future creativity. Mickey's greet area is cheerful 😊❤
One thing that struck me was when I heard someone say "as a kid the attractions inside Innoventions and Communicore really inspired me". What kid could possibly say that now? No one is being inspired by any of this. Very odd decisions by Disney lately. They smack of little imagination and low budgets. I'm hearing a lot of Imagineers have left for greener pastures and it's looking pretty believable lately. It's time to turn the tide Disney!
That's so valid. It's great that they're incorporating popular Disney movies to appeal to the next generation (and many of us love these "newer" movies too), but man, that pre-pandemic concept art of the "new EPCOT" is a far cry from what we got. Of course, the whole pandemic played a big part, but yea. I don't know if it's just nostalgia, but it feels like the old EPCOT attractions were so unique and really captured that whole "experimental prototype community of tomorrow" spirit. I don't want to dwell on the past, but I can't help but feel like they're not living up to EPCOT's full potential. It does feel like current Imagineers are much more limited by corporate red tape and don't have the freedom to really reach those magical heights. It's not all terrible, and I can understand the logistical reasons for things.. it's just not what it could and should be if they were thinking of the next 100 years of Disney World and making things last. I guess we'll just have to see how it all plays out, hoping for the best!

Well the opinion is negative all around and the reason I believe is because Disney promised a festival building! Disney promised us some more rides and attractions. The whole EPCOT overhaul has been stretched out for far too long. I wish I was privy to the logistics behind the scenes and they why’s to so many of these decisions.
It's good that you kept your expectations low of what that space would be, however, it shouldn't have to be that way. The current Disney way is sadly what we plan for and what we get. They should have held off on opening Communicore Hall until the next festival. Everyone is freaking out because it is an empty canvas waiting for a festival. Right now it is celebrating the "God it's Hot" festival by providing seating in the air conditioning. It is serving it's purpose. And I hope that Disney has realized that summer is just too hot for a festival.
Hi Jackie! Thank you for showing the changes to Epcot. I agree with you that the space will be better utilized during the festivals. During really crowded times, guests will appreciate the open space more.
We loved the opening of the video as we have one of the Millennium Tiles! We check it out every trip. We admit it was an eyesore at the entrance but it is always a reminder to us of the greatness of EPCOT past...

@@nickymock That's a bummer that you had trouble accessing it. I do like the colors they added and how they consolidated the tiles. Luckily General Motors will pay the bill for this Test Track overhaul. I hope that GM hires an outside attraction builder and does not use Imagineering. Why?...because Imagineering will over promise the Blue Sky plans then WAY under estimate the cost...then blow up GM's budget and force GM to do major idea cutbacks on the entire attraction. If GM finds their own builder, it will prolly stay in budget and maintain it's original ideas. Imagineering can't stay on budget anymore and everything they do now just inflates and explodes in huge cutbacks.
What a great video to show us new things . Can’t wait to see what the hall has for food and wine ? Where were you standing in beginning of video. I think I did my picture on there back in the 90s?🙂
I think Communicore Hall is a blank canvas for a reason. I think those gray walls are a spot that they’ll put giant murals for each festival. I bet they’ll sell festival merch from that space as well. People from the media event said that those frosted windows are covering counters to sell food. Also I love Encanto so much 🥹
This was just a small thought, but like you said maybe they're keeping it plain to make is easier to decorate for the special occasions, but I also just thought since it has a lot of seating for people to relax, maybe they chose a really minimalistic approach for people to de-stimulate? Like some people or kids can get overwhelmed and it's a nice looking neutral area?
Jackie, my wife & I have met you several times. This is just a short note letting you know that we thoroughly enjoy your videos. The positivity you exude is something that our world needs more of. Keep up the fantastic work. Your passion is clear and infectious!!!

@@SuperEnthused Jackie, I also love your vids. As I have stated, I have been watching you for quite a long time. Unfortunately I have not gotten to meet you in person yet. If I do see you, I hope Sam is with you. I'd love to meet him as well.
They should reopen the World ShowPlace pavilion for festivals! It's already built, massive restrooms, air conditioning, can escape from heat/storms, big space and plenty of seating.
I always wish they would do this!! Having been in there, it’s huge, air conditioned, and a cool space. I wish they’d use it for festivals instead of only for special events.
Yes the time it took to build this space was unacceptable especially with the final result. However if construction was never halted, and if the plans didn't change this could have been built in less than a year. Many people fail to realize that those factors caused the many years wait.
we have to remember, who was in charge over the time ..... epcot got Chapeked.😢 very sad. We just got back, and the only redeeming thing was the passholder lounge in AC with FREE snacks.
I watched an opening day vlog of the Communicore hall. The shutters do open up and reveal some booths or counters. I remember they had a cooking demonstration, a mixology event and a gallery area. I’m sure they had a few other counters but I can’t remember. The banners were replaced by signs and I’m sure there was a lot more colour and some screens on the walls too. It did look loads better than the grey walls. However I do prefer the colourful walls in the Mickey & Friends area. Im sure there will be an event soon and you can give us a good look around 😊💗
That must have been the media event, when they did special things for that one event and then closed the walls back up for the actual opening day. I didn’t watch any of that, I wanted to go in with my own fresh impression and see it as guests will actually see it. I will def be there for food and wine when it’s open for all guests and give a good look around! Good to know there’s more space for cool stuff and the walls do open like I saw.
I kinda like it, but its meh at the same time, whats that about?😂 8:12 Cast Member erased from existence 😱 Goofy was cute with you. Great video as always, eagerly awaiting whatever is next.
Coming in August and looking forward to all the changes. I'm with you, Disney needs to provide shade and cover for rain in the new area. Thanks for the video, Jackie!😊🏰💐👍😊
So the walls at comuni Core Hall have acoustic panels, that is also why they look kind plain, but even with the hard surface floor the acoustics in the space is awesome.
A flex event space doesn't need to be empty and boring. The Animation Academy building in DCA is hideous on the outside, but the interior hall is beautiful with all the projections and screens and music. But they also do weddings in there so it's totally multi purpose. Like I can go to any of a million boring convention centers and they're all indistinguishable from each other, kind of sad to build another one inside Epcot.
I love Epcot, I did my program at the French pavillon as a cultural representative. God I miss Florida. I would do it again and again. I wish a good video to everybody ✌️
It’s probably hard to hear me in that part, but I was talking to both Minnie & Mickey about Robot Butler and was so excited to see him!! That mural was amazing.
Test Track was okay, but always thought it needed to be changed to something better. Would love to see them bring Cars into one of the parks, maybe not EPCOT but at this point it doesn’t matter anymore 😂
It took 6 years for THAT?????? What used to be there was so much better. Tore down innoventions for some really boring building and trees. Getting rid of things like Illuminations, the old innoventions music loop we all knew and loved. And much, much more. Also, it sucks that I won’t be able to ride test track when I go in January :(
I agree with you, Jackie, that there’s potential for Communicore Hall to be cool. One thing they could easily do is projections and music to liven up the space. Or screens. Like the Epcot preview used to be, or even like that spot in Disneyland where you just walk in and relax with huge screens showing Disney movie clips! (Can’t remember the name) Sad thing is that no one in Disney’s camp came up with this stuff in the 5-ish years those walls were up!
I do think they’ll use projections and screens, stuff like that. Like what they’ve been doing with the Odyssey building. It’s a blank slate so we’ll see what they do with it!
I can get behind the grey walls if it’s for corporate events … maybe there a “whiter” grey. Also I wonder if they could install “curtain” banners so it’s easy to switch/dress up the walls
Well, I don’t know what I was expecting, but I don’t think I was expecting any of that. They definitely need to have some kind of shading over that area. It’s too hot in the Florida heat. The meeting greet with Mickey looks so pretty inside, I agree with you. The walls in that building needs something. I love your term gray walls, airport terminal. thank you for braving the heat and showing us what the show looks like. Honestly I was not a fan of test track. I was OK if I didn’t ride it when I went to Epcot. I might be in the minority, but it is what it is. My heart belongs to spaceshipe earth, it’s my must do ride every time I go to Epcot.
Luckily General Motors will pay the bill for this Test Track overhaul. I hope that GM hires an outside attraction builder and does not use Imagineering. Wow, I like it but don’t understand why it took so long when the Hall is not saying much at all , but maybe as events come up it will be better utilized. 🤞🏽
The character mural area is so cute and the characters of course are very cute too!! I don't really care about Test Track because I didn't like that ride anyway.
We went over on Saturday and had already read the reviews. They were pretty much spot on..a big case of meh. The hall reminded me of my college study hall.. Think they had the same tables. I'm not sure I even by the 'blank slate' argument. You could still make it colorful. The real question though is why so long. I think the started this when our passes expired in 18 or 19? Universal has built Epic in that time period. As for Test Trac..the pictures of the changes look MUCH better than what it does now imo. We flip over to Universal next month and unless they bring back the Epcot after 4 passes..not sure we get these passes again. Just so pricey for people that only do Epcot. As always..appreciate you trying to put lipstick on this pig!
Disney is getting rid of everything beautiful, that worked, and replacing it with hot, open spaces, and lousy entertainment. Rides that were revered, to lack luster, broken ones. Shame on Disney.
How do you store them? I have scrapbooks with park maps going back years, I just the other day went through and updated them. It’s so cool to see them all and how much has changed over the years.
I’m so disappointed the stage show is outdoors with no seating and no shade. No one wants to stand with throbbing feet in the full blazing sun or in the daily drenching Florida rain. An indoor auditorium with air- conditioned seating and comfortable chairs would have made this show area very popular. Shame.
Somehow while “building progress” they’ve gutted EPCOT of its once grand state. The “attractions” they’ve put in outside of Ratatouille are uninspiring and do not provide the park goer with a return on their investment. To put it in short- there’s very little bang for your buck in Epcot anymore.
Communicore looks and feels too much like the old communicore when it was a simple pass-through. I remember it and yeah it felt like a hallway that was air conditioned. They really should have done more but I know budget. Still it’s like why give us this nostalgic thing when it could be so much more. And I played a few games of tag and ran around that area when I was a kid.

The murals are all so cuteeee!!!
Loved the picture with you and Goofy holding out your braids and ears, respectively!
My favorite Goofy pose!!
Jackie, my wife & I have met you several times. This is just a short note letting you know that we thoroughly enjoy your videos. The positivity you exude is something that our world needs more of. Keep up the fantastic work. Your passion is clear and infectious!!!
Thank you to you and your wife!! I appreciate this so much! There’s so much negativity in the world nowadays, every bit of kindness is appreciated and goes a long way! 💕💕💕
@@SuperEnthused Jackie, I also love your vids. As I have stated, I have been watching you for quite a long time. Unfortunately I have not gotten to meet you in person yet. We will be down there in September, the first week. We are going to Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Studios. I'm hoping to spot you somewhere and get to say hello in person.
Thanks for a thoroughly descriptive update on everything in EPCOT. They change things at Disney more than they change their underwear!😅
😂😂😂
I liked watching you and Goofy hang out! Goofy is my favorite character. lol
Yeah, it has Bob Cheapskate’s handprints all over it.
I kinda like it, but its meh at the same time, whats that about?😂
8:12 Cast Member erased from existence 😱
Goofy was cute with you.
Great video as always, eagerly awaiting whatever is next.
You would make a fantastic Disney Character! ❤
CommuniCore Hall!!! A great place to get in out of the rain. Plenty of empty space! Come on in!!!
Can you still Meet Mickey and Minnie in the pavilion behind where figment is. Or can you only meet them in this new building now?
Die hard Epcot fan. I kept watching hoping for something that would make the long wait worth it. 😢
It is what it is, at least there is another place to sit in the AC, I guess. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Great video love all your Disney and road trip stuff was fun
A flex event space doesn't need to be empty and boring. The Animation Academy building in DCA is hideous on the outside, but the interior hall is beautiful with all the projections and screens and music. But they also do weddings in there so it's totally multi purpose. Like I can go to any of a million boring convention centers and they're all indistinguishable from each other, kind of sad to build another one inside Epcot.
Thank you Jackie. Love you 💙❤️🇬🇧🇺🇸
I love Epcot, I did my program at the French pavillon as a cultural representative. God I miss Florida. I would do it again and again. I wish a good video to everybody ✌️
The song in the beginning was a BANGER! 😍😍😍😍
I really enjoy your candid conversations about what you think of Epcot. It makes me want to be your friend. Lol, keep up the good work!
Interesting. The wall murals featured animatronics and past and present EPCOT attractions. Who remembers the robot butler?
It’s probably hard to hear me in that part, but I was talking to both Minnie & Mickey about Robot Butler and was so excited to see him!! That mural was amazing.
Love the video do they have sugar free sweets at Epcot
Test Track was okay, but always thought it needed to be changed to something better. Would love to see them bring Cars into one of the parks, maybe not EPCOT but at this point it doesn’t matter anymore 😂
Yea, I have a lot of nostalgia for it and always enjoyed it riding it, but the 2.0 version was definitely due for an upgrade!
(Can’t remember the name)
Sad thing is that no one in Disney’s camp came up with this stuff in the 5-ish years those walls were up!
I do think they’ll use projections and screens, stuff like that. Like what they’ve been doing with the Odyssey building. It’s a blank slate so we’ll see what they do with it!
Totally do not understand the decision to not provide shade. Hopefully it’s on its way, like we hope for like Lookout Cay
Disney hates giving us shade lol!! It's been my biggest gripe with EPCOT festivals over the years!
@@SuperEnthused shade and tables 😂
I can get behind the grey walls if it’s for corporate events … maybe there a “whiter” grey. Also I wonder if they could install “curtain” banners so it’s easy to switch/dress up the walls
Super surprised that elemental acrobat show is still going, that thing is so rickety looking.
I was shocked to see it too, first time I've caught it.
I hope they bring back the original song "It's fun to be free".
I am a Figment fanatic and I love your shirt!
I wonder with test track closing will it be impossible to go on the rides, especially guardians of the galaxy.
Thanks for the news! Although that CommuniCore Hall looks like a huge waste of time.
Imagine a radiator springs type of concept meets Epcot imagineering = test track 3.0….. oh my
That would be AMAZING.
Luckily General Motors will pay the bill for this Test Track overhaul. I hope that GM hires an outside attraction builder and does not use Imagineering. Why?...because Imagineering will over promise the Blue Sky plans then WAY under estimate the cost...blow up GM's budget and force GM to do major idea cutbacks on the entire attraction. If GM finds their own builder, it will prolly stay in budget and maintain it's original ideas. Imaginnering can't stay on budget anymore and everything they do now just inflates and explodes in cutbacks.
What didn't you like about it??
@@aussiefurbymogwaifan6621 It was really loud and jerky. The Cars ride at DCA is much smoother.
@@meglie1 maybe they'll fix it up with 3.0
Also them not opening this w a festival is super weird
Have you ever got to experience the old world of motion ride ?
Jackie, I love your positive realistic enthusiasm and evaluations. I appreciate you!
I appreciate you too!
You were still positive even though it’s mehhhhh . That’s why we all appreciate you and your vlogs ❤
Epcot is finally looking great ,Love goofy meet and greets. That was so cute.
I've been to epcot like 5 times, i swear i never heard of Test Track😲
So sad test track closed but I hope 3.0 is better I built an 8 feet long paper model to remember every piece of this ride
wow that sounds like a really cool project!!
UA-cam unsubscribed me from your channel for some reason…😭😡 can’t wait to see what you think of the updates in Epcot!
OH NO!! I'm glad you noticed and are back!! You're the best!
What dose frozen and encanto have to do with futurism and "world of tomorrow" and Sci fi??
Disney is getting rid of everything beautiful, that worked, and replacing it with hot, open spaces, and lousy entertainment. Rides that were revered, to lack luster, broken ones. Shame on Disney.
I started collecting maps my last few trips and I loved test track 1.0 and hopefully the new one is good and I liked 2.0
How do you store them? I have scrapbooks with park maps going back years, I just the other day went through and updated them. It’s so cool to see them all and how much has changed over the years.
@@SuperEnthused some are labeled in ziplock bags with month and year and some are just where I could find them
Last time I was there demolition had just started
So crazy!
I really want back all the special things back for F&W🎉❤ Demonstrations, celebrity meet and greets, all the things🙏
Thanks again for what you do. In keeping us informed and entertained.
Amazing fun
I’m so disappointed the stage show is outdoors with no seating and no shade. No one wants to stand with throbbing feet in the full blazing sun or in the daily drenching Florida rain. An indoor auditorium with air- conditioned seating and comfortable chairs would have made this show area very popular. Shame.
Well done, Miss Jackie!
Am I right in thinking that Goofy is the best💖⭐️😍
You are CORRECT!
@@SuperEnthusedHe’s my fave of the five 💕
Are you kidding me ?!! We waited 5 years for this !!!?
Great video as always Jackie
If Universal ran Test Track…
Bad weather = B Mode = JUST SKIP THE OUTSIDE PORTION. THEY’LL NEVER NOTICE
Oh man noooooo!!! Not b mode!
Love your tiedie pretty cool got 400 tiedie
Can’t believe it has been closed since I was in the hospital.
Somehow while “building progress” they’ve gutted EPCOT of its once grand state. The “attractions” they’ve put in outside of Ratatouille are uninspiring and do not provide the park goer with a return on their investment. To put it in short- there’s very little bang for your buck in Epcot anymore.
Great Update as always!! Thanks, Jackie for sharing your experience and knowledge as always... Stay Enthused!! :D
Yep!! It's in the grand tradition of air conditioned hallways lol!
