That drop attack was awesome
Love the 3 pronged approach for the win. Front door and 4th base distraction for the kill move on the main. Lots of multitasking for sure.
Icarus revenge match was a thing of beauty
Fantastic match between ArtUser and Icarus. Stuff like this is why I will always love StarCraft.
Dear Artosis, I watched most of your video castins (only castings) and i have a confession to make, i have been using your voice to make myself sleep (in a good way) i listen to your castings and visualize it while my eyes are closed. It helps me with my sickness, One thing to keep in mind, i love it when you say the players name, the race they're using, the starting position using clock hands, then you will tell the watchers whatd the map history and the playstyles around it and winning ratio etc, then after that you will introduce their play styles and who is most likely to win and why and explaining it in details, i love it when you literally trying to cast the battle like you telling a blind person what is happening, i love it. do not get me wrong you are doing all of these already but sometimes when my eyes is shut and listen sometimes one of those things i listed is not being told hense i open my eyes to check(hard) i have never been able to play starcraft since 2010 But since the moment i watched your videos around 2014 i think?? you guys (tastosis) where my beacons help me sleep(in a good way) 95% of your videos unfortunately I have not finished while im conscious sorry hehe. The funny part is I haven't played Starcraft for a decade now but Not a single day has passed that i have not watched your video. Thank you and don't forget the list, but i think you already have that figured out. thank you from a non starcraft player, but a starcraft fan.
Would like to add here that sometimes I put on Artosis cast and don't watch it, but just listen while doing something else and I can visualize everything that's going on. I think that it indicates the high level of Artosis as a commentator.

Before the first game of ro16 you should put a visual of the entire bracket just like ASL!
Some nice games there, Dropship with that hero firebat was epic.
So smart to bring a firebat vs zerg. Always bring a firebat when dropping vs zerg is what this game demonstrates.
I like this format. I like this tournament. It's nice that there is more Starcraft 1 content again.

The lurker pickoffs were red hot, love to see it. Honestly it looked like Artuser underestimated his opponent there trying to do a lurker push out like that.
I'd say the ro16 will be stacked more densely.
When you cast a game of Scan or other pros again, I'd love it if they'd co-casted with you and went through their thought process

So how many Terran players in the Ro16? Artosis the caster will never tell Artosis the player.

Wow…that forward 8-Rax into a superfast Factory and Vultures is really tough for Zerg to deal with. Another Z Arty casted went down to it too very recently.
So, Terran actually CAN be a terror early, who knew. I thought bunker rushes were about all they could do for early aggression.
@artosis in theory you are correct, you are more stacked because you cut a lot of the fat. It's all about the pump and you are more pumped for those matches

Both great games, one is about being ballsy, the other is about importance of constant harass.
I think when you say that it will be more stacked in the Ro16 - you are saying that the average skill of the remaining players will be higher, which makes sense. The lower skill players were more likely to have been eliminated in the Ro32 than the higher skill players. Another way of putting it might be that the MMR of the remaining players is higher on average than it was in the Ro32.

So why is SK Terran so much more popular than Mech Vs Zerg?
It's not at the lower levels of skill. Lower APM terrans are gonna favor mech every single time. But once your APM goes above a legit 200 (not spam clicks) SK terran has greater mobility, greater coverage, and if you can make enough vessels and keep the scourge off em the irradiates shut down mutas, punish ultra/ling/defiler, etc. Also the SK terran build can transition into battlecruisers or mech later on. You won't see mech builds swap into barracks units, at most you'll see a marine/tank composition.

Nah Zerg died from lack of scouting drop ships. Terran isn’t OP. Scouting is key in this match up. It was Zergs fault not balance issues
