I'm a former co-section leader of FAMU's "White Whales" Sousaphone section , and a grad of LeFlore in Mobile. So I am familiar with ASU. I won't hate on y'al, cause for ASU style, thats pretty tight, even though thats not how the 100 plays our tones. the one thing i didnt like was all the ad-libs. ASU didnt use to play em like that back in the day. But hey, new day, new sound.

i many not be fan of ASU but UGAs version was well...sutied to their style of play, and ASUs version VSUs NSUs and every other HBCU tuba section has a different style of playing Transformers/Earthquake/71 in some places...so if you're going to say its bad stick to the musical aspect and dont mix styles...cuz UGAs version is...well dry to say the least

VSU is better than ASU in my opinion..vsu is more originial..they might not be as loud but they articulate together and that double and triple tounging....u gotta give it to them
