    Thanks so much. I have a 90hp G1 Etec and really had no idea if or what sort of display I could get on a Lowrance. Spent a lot of time searching and your 3 minute video showed it all.

    Perfect, thanks for posting, I love my ICON PRO SERIES gauges but nearly can see relevant data in the sunlight way too tiny and cumbersome for me, this is exactly what I am looking to purchase for my Etec 2015 135 HO.

    Thanks for making such a simple no bs video! Very helpful. Considering going this route to view data on my 175 G1 Etec because I only have the analog rpm gauges currently. If I went this route, I'm assuming I would I have to by pass those analog gauges and only my Garmins? Or would this allow me to read RPM on both the finder and existing gauges? Thanks for any help!

    I have everything working except the trim gauge, it works with the dash trim gauge but not on the lowrance. How do you get the trim gauge to work on the engine page?

      What HP do you have? Trim will only work from 115 and more. Might work on a 90HO but not sure

    Thanks for the video! I have a G1 250 and Raymarine Axiom. I was working on Nav lights and think i somehow shorted nmea network. Icommand gauges are blank and axiom is not showing any engine information.
    My question is where would i look for the fuse in a setup similar to what you showed. I looked under helm etc but cannot locate one.

    • @BulatOutdoors
      @BulatOutdoors  2 роки тому

      That’s a tough question. There’s likely a backbone of T’s somewhere. One will have a power wire with a fuse on it. Could be near the battery, could be around the fuse panel at helm.
      It’s got to be somewhere, just need to locate it and there is no rule on where sadly

    Great video, I have a 2010 Evinrude E-TEC 115hp, is this compatible and,,, the only one Interface cable I can find online is branded Lowrence. Does that matter? I thought that side of the wiring to the nmea is universal. Thanks in advance.

      I think it will work with the 2010. As long as it is an etec and has the connection. Any brand cable will work. This one was a Lowrance brand.

    Recently purchased a boat that has a Nmea network but the sonar/gps units are 10 years old now. Sight unseen is it possible to install new electronics to a 10yr ish old NMEA network. ?

    • @BulatOutdoors
      @BulatOutdoors  3 роки тому

      More then likely you can plug an old network into a new unit. NMEA is a standard cord so I can't see why not.

    • @BulatOutdoors

The wire from the fuel tank that was dropped from a “T” nmea hub was burnt at the connection hub. So I can’t find a replacement wire for my fuel level. This is a 5 pin nmea type plug but the pins are arranged in a circle. The newer ones are arranged in an x

    I have a G2 150, whit the 3.5inch dig. instrument, and want to get the fuel level on it, .I must have an nmea2000 fuel sensor, but there is also a conector whit 2 cabels from the harnest of the e-tec, one marked tank 1 and another marked tank 2. , is it egough to connect the nmea2000 cabel from the guard to the T connector backbone, and then from there to the analog fuel instrument? Hope you understand my bad english :p

    • @BulatOutdoors
      @BulatOutdoors  2 роки тому +1

      With the G2 you should find a cluster of T's under your dash. if you have an mfd compatible with engine interface you could just add a T into there and connect it to your mfd. You can likely set up fuel consumed as your fuel level.
      With your fuel sending unit on the tank it would depend if it is a digital or analog sending unit to get it connected to NMEA 2000. As for connecting to the engine cables you mention, I am not sure about those cables and what connectors are on them.
      Email me some pictures and I'll talk with my dealer to help get you set up scottbulat@gmail.com

      Other brand MFD’s could work. You would have to check the specs on them. Myself I don’t know what other models work with what year of motors. Best is to check with your dealer or call the customer service for the brand you are thinking.
